Ibrahim Roza - Vijayapura

Visited early in the morning and it was very quiet and serene. Beautiful. Highly recommend.

This monument is nicely maintained, advisable to visit in the winter as the weather is soothing. Entry costs ₹25 per person, and it closes at 5 p.m. These structures have an neatly maintained garden around them. The structure itself is a marvel to look at.

Final resting place of Adil Shah II and some of his family members. Beautiful architectural monument set in lovely landscape.
Entry by ticket.
Good for kids.

Must visit after Gol Gumbaz.great for photography.

On the western outskirts of the city, lies this exquisite group of buildings containing the twin edifices of the sepulcher of Ibrahim Adil Shah and a mosque. Adorned by slender minarets at each corner, of the utmost elegance and delicacy, fine stone filigree and decorative work.
The Ibrahim Rouza is rated as on one of the most beautifully proportioned Islamic monuments in India and an inspiration for the Taj Mahal. The mosque is also a beautiful edifice with five grand arches, ornamented by carved medallions and hanging stone chains.
Built on a high stone terrace, the monuments are framed by a lofty tower, ornamented with four graceful minarets, approached by a path through formal gardens.

Need lots of repairs government is only earning money but they are not taking care of this monument. I saw a slab is about to fall where all people rack their shoes.

Ibrahim Roza, located at Vijayapura is an architectural masterpiece and a historical gem that stands as a treatment to the rich cultural heritage of India. I was impressed by the grandeur and beauty of the monument which is a fine example of Indo- Islamic architecture.
Inside the tombs visitors are treated to a breathtaking display of intricate interiors.
The walls are embellished with beautiful paintings and detailed stucco work, showcasing the artistic finesse of the Craftsman.
Must visit place to see the architectural beauty.

What a beautiful place! I was stunned by the beauty of the monument.
I must say excellent place for photography/ shoot.
The only thing I didn't like is they started earning by keeping your footwear until you visit and return back! That's something strange that you have you pay for watching your footwear also!

Another architectural wonder from Deccan Built by Ibrahim Adilshah 2 initially it was built for his wife Taj sultana since the king died earlier he was buried there it is his Mausoleum most delicate jali work (parapets) this piece of architecture contains all the thirty chapters of holy Quran delicately carved with fantastic calligraphy with utmost precision it has also a chain carved from a single stone hanging inside the Mausoleum this actually inspired The Tajmahal in Agra This Mausoleum reminds the Golden period of Bijapur sultans

Unexplained structure. Incredible artist and beautiful stoneware and stonework are the most beautiful. The Superbowl front elevation is the jackass work of engineering.

Very well maintained historical heritage site it's garden is maintained quite well and has an entry fees of 25 rupees for Indians and 600 for foreigners better to get a guide here cause u wanna know each and every detail of it and one thing really strange i feel as there we are asked to take off our footware and go in for what reason is unknown to me

This is one of a must visit place in Vijaypura. It's just awesome. It is a shooting Spot for many Kannada song. One among them is "pyarge agbuttaite"
