Ideal Cafe

I had been with My Mummy in the morning around 11. And it was just on the verge of opening. It was empty. I didn't like the atmosphere then. But usually it's a crowded place & always full of people. A good place but in not a huge fan of it though as i don't like crowded places. But their food is goooodddd and the service could be a little better. A must - visit place in Mangalore

Visited for a breakfast. Delicious food. Ordered breakfast combo and jumbo combo. Awesome food with less oil. Very hygiene. Thank you

The all time favorite at Mangalore is ice Cream. Be it summer or winter ice cream always heals.
This outlet was one of the first few Ideals in Mlore and still lives up to it.
Homely environment and prompt service.

I don't think much Introduction required for ideal, not also ice cream snacks and other dishes are yummy. Must try gud bud at all times.

Patehtic service, can see many employees but not systematic.we spent lot of time to order + deliver.it killed the quality of product.

The atmosphere is not well maintained compared when it was opened initially, quality remains the same, food is very expensive, must try ice creams Gadbad especially

Nice place and food is good, but it can get insanely busy with standees everywhere. Keep backup eatery options available if you plan to go here because there is no guarantee of vacant tables.

Great place for ice creams. They have a hugge variety and have now added different dishes like parota, south indian breakfast items, starters, etc. All veg. Neat and clean. Usually crowded during weekends.

Superb place for veg snacks and food. Make sure you try their cutlet and samosa, which I liked a lot with milk shakes or Lassi. Average time for you to get seat is about 10 to 15 mins.

It is a good cafe with a wide variety of options from south Indian to chinese. The ice screams here are superb. One of the burgers that I loved was the machine gun. If you go there, dont miss out on the machine gun. The prices are reasonable and worth it.

Pure vegetarian restaurant. Six star quality and taste. Decent variety of South and North Indian food. Plus great ice creams - same as the famous Mangalore Pabba's

Good place for some icecrams and snacks. Mostly crowded, so be prepared to wait to get seated. However the portion size could be increased for the price.

The food may be great and the ice-creams superb, but I refuse to accept the owners insensitivity to the thronging patrons who have to literally 'catch' places. All this needs is a bit of organising and alloting seating in a systematic manner restaurants all over the world do.

When you are in Mangalore there are a few things you cannot miss, the top of the list is a visit to Ideal cafe or Pabbas. For those who don't they are both owned by the same group. Ideal cafe has more snack options like pav bhaji, chana batura, foccacia sandwich etc, pabbas has limited snacks like cutlet and grilled sandwich all of which are great but the star of menu is both ideals and pabbas have an extensive list of exotic, not to be missed icecreams which beg multiple visits to the place. Evenings can get very crowded so before that maybe a good time to visit.

Food is awesome here.must visit this place if you're in mangaluru.you delicious ice-cream here where you get nowhere in this world.pulav with tea is very good combination here

One of the best restaurants in Mangalore. Reasonable rate. If you want to fill your tummy and spend less while doing so, this is a place to visit.

Good place for ice cream. They also serve breakfast. Very slow service. Waiters forget to get the items. Need to follow up so many times. They took mote than 40 minutes get one Ice cream.

Wish the management takes time to think of discomfort of waiting customers who have to fend for themselves in finding or catching a vacant seat / table and bring some organised manner of dealing with waiting customers in a manner thats expected of any decent restaurant enjoying good patronage.

Worst service. Placed the order and it didn't arrive for more than 20 minutes. It seemed the waiters and the chef have gone out on a strike. The person who was on the order counter couldn't give a reason for the delays. I am pretty sure I will not visit this place again.: (

Best place to visit with family and friends. Ishakes and paneer chilli is awesomeee. Variety of foods with reasonable price with best quality

Ice creams are one of the best in Mangalore without doubts.personal favorite is parafit.a well balanced flavour of iceams and fruits.gudbad, chocolate dad, Choco chip, tiramisu among the others which arereally good.choole Puri, fried rice, dosas, pulav, sandwiches are excellent.should try.

If you are a foodie you must visit this place. You get best ice-cream here. Snacks, junk foods are also served here. Best place to hangout with friends. I never get bored of this place.self order but table service is available.
