IISc Gymkhana

I study at IISc bangalore. IISc gymkhana is part of IISc which is built for sports activities. We have Cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, kho kho, handball, frisbee, table tennis, athletics, tennis, dance, yoga, billiards, and badminton clubs. This place is heaven for us.

Once the ongoing construction is completed, hopefully it will be a very pleasant sports complex.

A place with a great relaxation for the students studying at an institute having tight academic schedule

Good place to watch KSCA cricket matches. But the facilities not good especially food. Even outside ಎಸಿಇಸ್ಸಾಬಿಲಿಟಿ is also difficult.

Good place.they have indoor badminton Court, lawn Tennis court, basketball and volleyball court's, hockey, cricket and football fields,

Super and super spacious with both attached ground within the big building like office and for relaxing, indoor game or sports practices, on the top floor the gym with big equipments and with hospitality.

A decent sporting infrastructure but completely new state of art infra is going to come in near times.

Institute gym is is pretty bad shape. They're renovating it but it'll take 2 years

Gymkhana consists of Badminton Courts, TT Table, 8 Ball Pool, Yoga rooms, Cricket Ground, Football ground and gym. But facilities are open for iisc students, staff and alumni.

Great place to be.
Not only for physical activities more that it's a place for relaxation. As it is located a bit far from the academic area, the crowd is comparatively less here. Gymkhana is a common name. There are different facilities available there. Which includes a cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, gym, tennis court, dance class, yoga etc.a coffee coffee day outlet is also located there.

It is indeed a fact the facilities are not up to mark. The quality is still a matter of consideration.

There are emergency medical assistants available in the gymkhana.

This place has Gym, basketball, Table tennis, Tennis court, badminton court, football and cricket ground, chess and carrom room, dance, billiards etc.
All are well maintained. One Stop destination for sports loving IIScians.

A lot has changed at the Gymkhana but a lot has remained as it was more than 20 years ago, when I first began to go there – first to get my swimming pass, then to the summer cricket coaching classes, and then to play some of the happiest football I've played.
And while a number of changes have not been for the better, the place will always hold a special place in my heart (just like the playground of my KVIISc school). It is where I grew up, where I played, where I ran, where I drank Maaza, where I watched 'Men in Black' on the big screen, where I was specially coached at tennis, where I ran what is perhaps the best 5K race I've ever run.

This gym is dedicated to the students and staff of Indian Institute of Science. Good atmosphere and little bit old equipment available in gym. Fully CCTV and you need to show your ID card for entry.

Inside wooden floor badminton court, billiards, dance, aerobics, gym and other sports facility is available.

Its the place where Rahul Dravid practiced for fitness. Its the property of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. It houses two wooden Badminton courts, Tennis court and Gym for fitness activities. The place is well situated in the heart of the city and is accessible from IISC over a flyover bridge.

Not well maintained facility so far. One such instance is water dripping from the room in badminton court.

IISC has the worst sports facility among all the reputed institute such as IITs, IISERs. There is no maintenance of the Gymkhana ground. All the equipment in the gym are very old. Gym neither has treadmill nor equipment for cycling.

Nice campus. Sports people definitely feel awesome.such a wonderful ground.sports courts. Also a good gym cafe is there. Suitable place to spend weekend days.

This place have all sort of outdoor games I.e. Cricket football tennis volleyball basketball hockey.indoor games also badminton, TT, billiards etc. Other facilities like gym, dance, singing, instrument s.yoga. And so on.

Has pool table, volleyball, basketball, badminton table tennis karate gym, aerobics chess. Only students from IISc ate allowed. Also has a ground for cricket separate ground for football and hockey

IISc gymkhana has got all the sports amenities from volleyball, basketball, badminton courts to cricket ground, football and hockey ground, lawn tennis. Besides there are gyming facilities, aerobics and dance group as well.

It is place reserved for IISc'ians and its alumini. The facilities include a big cricket ground, a medium sized football ground, a hockey field, two tennis courts, three wooden badminton courts, a spacious gym, pool tables, yoga, aerobics room, dance room, chess room, and a few other rooms. There is a small library as well. Of course, there is a basketball court and a vollyball court along with a cafe. So, it essentially provides all the necessary sports facilities. But, I gave it 4 stars because it still need to improve on the quality.
