Only cash for entry is inconvenient as there is no ATM near by and only one kannada song played, no proper time sense, But good to see soldiers name board and Indian army, rocket prototypes, nice environment
A decent musical fountain in the heart of the city. The Playlist is from the 90s, Kannada and Hindi songs with a pinch of Nationalism. Decent crowd on Sunday evening. Show starts around 7 PM as per the security but mostly delayed.
Toilets available in the park. Parking available at the planetarium till 9 PM.
Nice place to visit. There are two shows daily (closed on Mondays). However, the show is quiet old and outdated. It’s time for an upgrade in my opinion.
This place contains fountains it only opens at particular timings so I have missed it. It also contains army vehicles like panzer, helicopter, jets, etc.and also rockets.
Must watch 1/2 an hour show with colourful fountains, dancing to the tunes of kannada and Hindi patriotic songs. The food which can be bought, is bhelpuri. Only issue is the management should take care of washrooms. Washrooms condition is very bad.
If you have never seen another music fountain you will like it.nothing bad, just that this attraction is really an old time thing. Personally i love walking the surrounding park at night. Nice and calm
Really nice place. Lots of greenery overall and around the pathways. Can roam around quickly and watch the main attractions as well as sit around and enjoy with friends and family. Minimal entry fees (Rs. 10). There is also a War memorial and Military equipments on display.
While here can also easily visit the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, just opposite if this.
Extremely well maintained park though the childrens play area could use an uplift. Large areas of tall trees and long walking tracks make for a good place to relax or get some exercise. The musical fountain is on at 7 and 8 pm every evening. It lasts about 30 minutes and is a pretty good show. Parking is outside the park itself Some old war tanks and aeroplanes also good for kids to have a look
It's a good place to spend a good time with family and friends. Here you can se many things as well. Well, it is famous for its musical foundation. Music will play then according to beats of sound the foundation will dance.
It is also called as National Military Memorial Park, Indian Military Museum and National War Memorial. The Theme of the park is different from any other park, where the miniature of the war Military vehicles are put up. Armoured and combat utility vehicles such as battleship, battle tanks etc, can be seen here. Fighter jets, Helicopters and missiles are also there. Only certain models are kept for representation. Free entry and parking is charged. 20 for 2 wheelers and 30 for 4 wheelers. Limited and open parking. Overall a good place to spend leisure time.
Great place for morning and evening walks. I personally feel very calm when I come here. Makes me forgot my tensions for sometime. Amidst nature one is rejuvenated and is able to think clearly. Highly recommend!
The place is huge but it's not maintained well, can be a lot better. It's definitely a nice place to spend the evening, the musical fountain is entertaining. The children play area equipments are very old and rusty. The war memorial is a great addition and is such an amazing tribute to our true heroes. The war museum is so informative and has to be maintained well.
Located on Raj bhavan road and surrounded by multiple beautiful places such as Cubbon park, Jawaharlal Nehru Plane, Snow world, VITM, Vidhan Soudha etc. Entry fees for IGMFP is ₹30. The park has national military memorial as a tribute to the war heroes of the country and music fountain show. Musical fountain show timing is around 30 minutes. Park has an open air display of tanks, missiles, rockets. Nearest bus stop is Raj bhavan and nearest metro station is Dr. B R Ambedkar station.
Good to being your kids, Light show in the night for 30 min duration is good experience. Other than this it's just a normal park. They charge fee of 30 per adult. Best time is to go after 6pm. For photography visit early morning or evening.
Nice place. It's better than mysore krs dam while comparing the musical fountain. Nice songs and the fountain is bigger than krs dam which is very popular. Over all you should go here just to see musical fountain other than that nothing much attractive.
Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park was inaugurated in 1995 and is the first computerized Fountain Park in India. It is built out of multimedia technology, hardware architecture and MIDI interfaces that give it a surrealistic appeal. The fountain flanked by lush green gardens hosts two light and sound shows each day in order to pay tribute to the valor of Bengaluru
Here is war museum in Bangalore. When you visit there then you will feel and come to know about our war heroes of battles. You will feel proud of our Indian Armed Forces, just opposite to Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium and Musical fountain. Opened from 9 AM to 6 PM all days. Musical program is close for some time but.really Good for family and kids to enjoy the day stroll, play areas. Enjoyed the place with all you love one
Best park in Bangalore, very well maintained and you get to see all the military vehicles which is amazing, good place to spent a day with your fam and there is musical fountain in the evening.
Good decent lawn area, amazing place for a jog, kid friendly as they have a huge play area, and to top it all it has a musical fountain for which kids are always excited.pretty good place for a Sunday kids day out in the centre of the city.
Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park is peaceful and beautiful place at the centre of city. It is well placed fenced well maintained park opposite to planetarium bengaluru. It a lush green park placed in a busy locality.
Well planned paved walkways which are pretty well drained. The walkways are well-lit and with frequent seating and dustbins. However, no braille stand and tactile paving for the visual impaired. Washrooms are present. Well fenced spaces hence few stray animals. Well planned play areas for children.
Overall, the accessibility for different abled is nominal and required assistance to navigate the different placed in the park. The accessibility for Geriatric & children is excellent.
Require restructuring and innovation as it is old style with no uniqueness. Its like fountain, music and lightings are on war to not sync with each other. Price is Rs. 30 but NOT worth it.

Very fine place in between of the city where you can find peace, perfect place for walking, jogging and exercising while you can rest as well. You can spent time with your family and friends also. At evening a perfect time to enjoy musical fountain around 1900hr. It's entry fees are 30 INR for tourists.
We loved this place. Compared to Mysore musical show this is excellent. It's about half an hour.if u plan well you can go to the planetarium across. They have their last English show at 4: 30. Also take snacks coz it's a bit long. It is the best musical show I have seen.this is worth the time. Kids were left with mouth open.after this show all other musical fountains we're a disappointment.
Nice park. Fountain show was good. Nature lovers enjoy the place.children loves the place.near by u have planetarium also. If you plan properly then you may cover planitorium and musical fountain in the same evening. So plan well and enjoy well.
The musical fountain was good but according to timings it was not ok winter season. And except fountain remaining all is ok. We can go for a time pass but it will not be good particular vacation.
One of the best parks in Bangalore in terms of size and beauty of layout. Plenty of space to roam around and pretty flowers adorn the garden. The star attraction is the musical fountain which is half an hour long show. Show timing in winter is from 6 30 and another from 7 30 pm. Charges Rs. 30 per adult for entry and parking charges Rs. 10. Very much value for money.
Good place in Bangalore to go once. Show starts at 6.30 PM. You can go 1 hour before of you are going with kids, there is one are where your they have displayed old tanks and prototype of space ship. Lot of parking place. Entry ticket for adults is Rs30.
A nice place and meausium with the memories of all our proud and powerful fighter who lost their lives for the country in order to save us and a respected and prideful moment have been given to them for all the members with different crew to their journey
The fountain is nice. But the place is not very clean. The cab availability is weak and there is also a planetarium just opposite to the musical fountain.
Good place for casual evening outing. Pros: 1. Parking available inside the park itself 2. Entry is not very high ₹30 per person and ₹10 for 2 wheeler parking. (As of 30th Dec 18). Cons/Improvement: 1. Improvement of rest room facility is very badly needed. 2. Spray for mosquitoes should be done as the water fountain show is always be done in dark. 3. Mix music instead of full songs along with better sound system wud make it more enjoyable:)
Nice quiet place in the center of the town. Musical fountain starts by 6.45 or 7 pm. Be there by 6. Good time to spend with families, kids and girlfriends.a small playground for the children is also there.u can plan a morning session at the planetarium just opposite and in the evening the park
Medium large area. Kids enjoyed the space and the show. Elder's have seen better and did not appreciate Sunday crowd. Food - puffed rice, tea available inside and snacks outside.
Good cleaness maintained in the park. Entrance fees needs to be paid. Good location and near to planatorium.play area there for kids and fountain show is there after 7 pm.overall good place to visit.
Selected old songs for the musical fountain. Made it boring for kids. Car parking near the play area not good as it was kicking up dust and unsafe for kids. Not maintained the play area properly. J. P park was more better than this.
A good place to spend some time with family and kids. Musical fountain was well choreographed, with no glitches. We went for 7pm show and it was mildly crowded. Lot of kids were playing even during the show which could be disturbing for some of the people. The show is for about 20 minutes, with 5 to 6 songs being played. Attached to this place is a kids playing area and also walk way to go around this place. For adults ticket charge is Rs30 per head. Ample parking space is available outside the compound. Only bad thing about this place is toilets. It's in pathetic condition and needs a quick attention.
