Very nyc hotel to eat and enjoy with friends and family, they provide very hygiene and tasty food. But little waiting is their because of so many customers usually comes here.
The rice was very bad because they have added baking soda, I ate south Indian meals in the afternoon, and later that day I was vomiting continuously till 4 am. Please don't use baking soda to the profit of the shop.sweet are good
It was a random cafe choosen for lunch. Best lunch i had, so tasty and clean, Food is worth the cost. One must try Masala papad, chai and Rasmali here.
Worst food i ever had, the service was pathetic and staff was rude. The food had no taste and they also made me cancel half of the order saying it is not currently available. We had to leave the hotel without having sufficient food. Kindly don’t visit this place.
Please Don't come here. Slowest service ever! Worst ever Service and No one looks after you! Food also was not up to the mark. The prices are too high for the quantity and quality of the food.
This place has the best tea I've ever had, and I'm saying this after visiting Ooty the next day! Must try.
The place is generally crowded with people coming to Mysore, making the service slower. But the food is worth the wait. You get authentic dosas of Old Mysore here. There are also fresh sweets of different kinds available on the shop.
The issue is that even with so much inflow of visitors, the staff do not understand proper Hindi or English which creates a barrier if you have to ask anything apart from the dish names. Also, parking is an issue since the building is right on the main road.
But if you're going to Mysore early morning from Bengaluru, and want a breakfast place, would definitely recommend this one!
It doesn't deserve even one star! Food is below average and late service. It has lost its charm. This hotel attracts floods of customer. But customers don't get the quality of food or the service it was known for. Recently the cashier handed me 100 Rs less while returning change, as i was in hurry I didn’t notice it. May be it’s a tactic he uses to cheat customers.
Worst experience in delivery order, no responsibility in customer service satisfaction. Leakage happened in lime soda affects for other stuffs ordered with other pack as well with delivery boy, telling it's not our fault by hotel staff, This is the pic for proof not sending bills and with poor rubber band packed on the cover which is leaking lime soda and we didn't get anything at the end. Never go with delivery with these kind of stinky nasty hotel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every meal was simply good. Very quick service. The place was quite packed on a weekend and is difficult to get a table. So plan a bit early.
Ordered mini meals but they missed out rice item, when called and asked the reply was very arrogant saying that they forget to add and again we must order itseems.joke of indra cafe paras
Absolutely One of the oldest hygiene & authentic Restaurants on Sayyaji Rao Road in mysore known for their unique Pheni & Badam Halwa, & Especially Famous for Rasmalai basundi other sweets and chats. This is the Iconic hotel in namma Mysuru. Very friendly & courteous owners. I am regular customer to this restaurant since decades and I always order mandatory Idli vada, Pineapple Kesari bath, one Malai sandwich sweet which is amazingly very good, Especially we loved the Mushroom Manchurian, Good food available for a great price! Serves North indian, South indian as well as Chinese dishes! Masala Dosa and Vasundhara (dessert) is a must have ️ North Indian thali was very nice. Ever seen a place where honesty, truth, passion and heritage blend together? Located opposite to the KR market and the chikka gadiyara (small clock tower) as well as bang opposite to the legendary guru sweets, they have been in action since more than half a century. A visit here warrants a must start with the legendary kesari bath. Now, the easiest way to make people fall for a kesari is to load it with ghee, dry fruits and pineapple. Here none of those dramas happen. The kesari is intricately balanced, a beauty of a sweet with every spoon (a plate gets u about six spoons). They've been doling out the same beauty since decades with no exception. The ghee holds onto the rave and the dry fruit, binds them into a ecstatic bundle of joy. While not overflowing from the plate. A hot dollop of this kesari goes on the plantain leaf to make it even more terrific. If I had to vote for the best kesari bath in India. This would be the one. The idli vade comes in a bowl of dippu. Absolutely smoky sambar. Have tried to figure out the secret ingredient in the sambar a hundred times, but in vain. Best sambar in town? Yeah. Yes. This is the one. The idli is soft, but what's more special about it? The after taste of mild sourness in the idli once we take the bite. Just a handful of heritage restaurants like vidyarthi bhavan and NMH achieve it, These guys excel. Next time in Mysuru, do not miss this place. Must must visit @Indra Cafe Paras Delicious food with friendly service and very good value. Absolutely packed so clearly popular with the locals. The cafe is one of the best in Mysuru. The food is simply outstanding. It is usually crowded most of the time. But you don't have to wait for long here. The service is really good and the workers do understand English, so language won't be a problem? 5/5
Not a great place for Mumbai chaat. They have an extensive menu for the same but could do better in terms of preparation. Had masala puri, samosa and kachori.
Hygiene and good quality food. Friendly staff. I had PavBaji, which I felt it would be more tasty if added spice. Provide fried chilli, which was missing. Overall good!
Though holds a heritage, it lacks cleanliness and upgrade. There are few dishes for which it is known for, many dishes taste good as well. But they don't bother about hygiene and timely service.
I have seen this place since my teen age, owners were very particular about hygiene. However in recent times couple of times I had very bad experience. Once I got washing sope back side spoon and today 01-08-2021 I got hair in the bowl of bonda sambar. Please look carefully all the food they serve.
First time I visited and had a worst experience the they took nearly 30 -40 min for takeaway.after eating panneer butter Masala here I had food poisoning and had to admit in hospital kindly have it looked keep the milk products items neat, clean and hygiene and have regular look at the chefs what they prepare so that none of us suffer like me next time.i spent nearly 1000 rs for the hospital chagers after eating here and now during this pandemic situation each and every penny is important for everyone please don't play with the ppl health if the items are not available or not fit for consuming pls throw it.i hope u understood my pain.
Even the hospitality from the cashier was not good, when I asked for payment receipt of the bill he told that he cannot give it.such an uncommon sense people they are.
If it's false allegation then there might issue with something else bcoz only panneer cannot be problem here there is a mixture other ingredients also I had roti and panneer butter Masala and I shall upload u the hospital receipt. I'm not blaming anyone here I'm just informing this happened
Too crowded during peak lunch hours. Staff are not at all concerned of taking order they'll make you wait a lot. Thali South Indian normal is not at all worth having Snacks, dosas, Tiffany items are quite good. They have online delivery through Swiggy Tea and coffee are very popular and good Tea costs 24 rupees per cup Coffee costs 20 rupees per cup On ground floor there is a chat section which is worth visiting And lastly the sweets they are really great and this place is even more popular for its sweets like raamalai basundi Kesar peda is a Must try costing 460 rupees per kilo. Rating low only because of untrained staff specifically the servers.
Perfect place to have breakfast, snacks and dinner. Though Mahesh Prasad is much rated but Indira is better. Everything is moderately priced. Dosas are mouth watering with butter taste.
Went to Guru sweets opposite to Indra to buy mysore pak, in the morning but was shut. So went here. The display had it with sprinkling of dry fruit, but when i came home, the packet had only the sweets, no dry fruit sprinkling. Good sales strategy. The taste was okay-ish.
I visitited the restaurant in the very early hours of 22nd Feb. The place is awesome with attending staff, options for a light eat even in those hours. Mohan provided us with excellent service and took care of our needs in those very early hours. He invited us to have their awesome breakfast spread, which we had to decline as we had to leave. My greatest compliments to karnatka city centre restaurant and to Mohan. Will surely visit this place again. It also is an excellent place to have a business conversation. Indra cafe.
Food is very tasty. It will be fresh. The price of the dishes is also not so high it is moderate. It is open from morning till late night. You get varieties of snacks, tiffin and food here. Since it has two floors it will not be that crowded and service also in time. Cleanliness is well maintained.
Wierd staff. We stayed there for 15 min no one came to us for the order then a guy came to us and said go downstairs. I mean you should have told us when we have arrived. Food is not also worth of time.
All curry items had same taste that is also not good. Aaloo gobhi masala was sweet on taste. We were having dinner around 9: 20-9: 30 and most off staff already left for day. Overall it was not good experience.
Situated at small clock tower circle, it is busy spot to have hot coffee, vada, dosa n chats. Clean and spacious. Tasty food. All veriety Sweets are available. Bad am halwa is too yummy, though bit costly. Service is very slow and needs to be quick as tourists have many places to visit. Spacious, clean and tasty.
This hotel is near to city bus stand. And market. This area is full of traffic this hotel located in this area. Hotel service is poor taste is OK seat availability is not OK.customers waiting more time to eat the food
It's a Unique Pleasure n Feeling of Mysore Heritage! I have been a regular customer since 1960 & Indra Cafe management have maintained it's reputation, taste, traditional service and cleanliness!
Time of closing is 9: 30 pm. When we went there South Indian Dosa was not available, so we opt for North Indian Thali. The food was good but not satisfactory.
Service, taste, below average, such a reputed restaurant not able to provide a good drinking water, they initiating to buy package drinking water, not good
Worst and very bad resturant in my life.we went for here having dinner, we ordered dosa.they took 60 min for serve the dosa.we came back from resutrant without having anything after wait for 60 min.they were not bother for this.plzz do n't go if you want save your time and price.
Place is good but bit small. Cleanliness is not upto the mark. It is busy hotel. Food is good and tasty. Staffs are always in hurry. There is even upstairs. Even some sweets are available.icecream is also available. We can even get parcel. Good will be nicely packed. Price of the food items are very much affordable. They can improve the timing which they take to serve after food is ordered. Seatings are sufficient. Timings is from morning 7 30 am to night 10 pm. Parking is not available for four wheelers but for two wheelers parking is sufficient.
Super Service, Super Food, Super view, super location.
With it's location right opposite to the Devaraja market and close to the palace it's the place to go for locals. But tourists shouldn't be worried about the quality of the food. The north Indian gravy I had was delicious and I loved it. The price is not too high.
