We visited recently to this place. The construction is not complete. Ideally the place should not be open for public as the connecting road is a single road through a village. This causes nuisance to both local villagers and visitors. The food available inside the premise is not worth the money
Prima facie it appears large amount of forested areas were used to make this, and still ongoing. Loud audio before & after the laser show every evening is a bad thing for the creatures in the surrounding hills & forests
One of the most unorganized tourist places, no proper roads after you get down from the highway. Over crowded without proper roads (hilly terrain), no directions. I have seen so many vehicles breakdowns, tyre punctures and blasts.
On the weekends and holidays, it is more horrible you can't even take 'U' turn to return. You have to stay on the road at same place till they close and the mad rush settles down.
Utter chaos! There is no planned parking, no lightings, no rest rooms, only rocks and boulders, people can park anywhere they like. All the roads are narrow, maps will not tell the right estimated time, due to people parked the cars some where and walking to the destination.
Now we will lose our peace of mind, so not recommended to visit, still under development! Maybe after a year you can give it a try!
The roads are not yet built. Good field trip if you want off-roading but if you want to be kind to the vehicle and it's passengers please do not visit yet. Concrete and Dust everywhere and it is a bit of a stretch to get to Adiyogi statue from the main road. Adiyogi statue is nice and at least completed, so giving 2 stars. Might come back and change rating after 5 years when the place is actually built.
This is in a building stage so lots of work to settle completely. The road from the main road is full of dust, and the road is yet to be made. Lots of parking available, the naga shrine is at the entrance where silence is to be maintained. It has chakra and flowers can be offered. As you pass through you see adi yogi with a small smile, meditating eyes. There is too much crowd on weekends and late afternoon. There is a mandir down adi yogi. Yes visit during weekdays and early mornings is a good feel. Toilets available. Shops selling tender coconut, sugarcane and other eatables are available outside. If my review was helpful, do like/comment.
Beauty Of Chikkballabura Just Never Go On Weekend and Holidays Toooo Much Crowd And The Construction is Not completed But Still Looks Good With the view and Parking facilities
Visited on 01.01.23. It was still under construction. Road leading to Isha from the highway was only loose gravel. Maybe after couple of months everything should be completed.
Beautiful place. Lots of development needs to be made. Thousands of people visit this place every day. This place is located in chickballapur. Since this place is very close to bangalore, many people visit this place especially on weekends. There is a huge parking place. There is no parking fee and entry fee. People can visit this place with no cost. There is a very good environment, fresh air and greenery.
Isha foundation which is coming up here is very similar to the one which is in Coimbatore.
The shiva statue is still under construction. However the Naga has been erected and it is being worshipped ever since! It’s located in between a small range of hills. It’s a beautiful ride to the place from Bangalore.
On the way we’ll find a lot of small quarry which has been formed into small ponds and lakes.
Road leading to 4his is very small single road. Try to avoid going this place in four wheeler till the direct road is built which is going in full pace.
Better to visit may be after 6 months so that atleast roads, temple construction will be complete. As there is no proper road approx 6km to reach. No refreshments etc. And no doubt the place is a must visit.
Place is still under construction but open for tourist to visit. Very crowded in weekends. Road from chikkbalapura to this place is still working condition so u ll get a total off-road experience. As per news it will be inaugurated on 14th Jan 2022.
Worst place no entry for normal people those who go with out pass only Isha worst maintenance leaving police to talk with public 14/1/23 no proper message to give
Nice and under development project. Once fully developed it will be a great place for Isha foundation and meditation. 15th Jan is the inaugural day for the Adiyogi statue that is almost in the final stages.
The Isha Yoga Center, Bengaluru is located near Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district, 65 kilometers north of Bengaluru. The Center is 45 km from the . Open on 15 Jan all can join
Here we have to visit after 1 year from now. Because road works in progress and also statue premises area also under construction. It's beautiful, it's different, that's my feeling after visiting this place, Adiyogi statue is large.peaceful and mesmerizing, we should walk a lot at this place, old people or physically weak people should be cautious while visiting this place, it will make them very tired. No transport vehicles for commuting between Adiyogi statue and chikballapur All types food, beverages are available here restrooms are also present. One should definitely visit this place.
The Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru is located approximately 15 kms away from Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district.
The last 6 kms strech passes through a village and stone quarries and the condition of the road is not so good.
You can visit the naga mandapa and the adiyogi shiva bust looks magnificent surrounded by hills in the valley.
Appreciate Isha Foundation for making arrangements for food at nominal prices for visitors in a make shift arrangement, since there no eateries around the area.
New Isha foundation opened at Chikkabalapura which is around 70kms from Bangalore after the one in Coimbatore. It is expected to start from 15 Jan’22. The road to Isha foundation and the place is under work in progress. The crowed is not allowed to go near the Adhiyogi Mahashiva statue for now and will be allowed once the inauguration is competed.
Adiyogi, yet another project after the most happening Isha Foundation and Adiyogi statue at Coimbatore inaugurated on Mahashivaratri 2017, is located at the Isha Yoga Center, Namma Chikkaballapur. Its height 112 ft, symbolizes the 112 possibilities to attain to moksha (liberation) that are mentioned in yogic culture, and also the 112 chakras in the human system. This face is not a deity or temple, this is an iconic inspiration. In pursuit of the divine, you don't have to look up because it is not somewhere else. Each of the 112 possibilities is a method to experience the divine within you. You just have to pick one. The idea is not to build one more monument but to use it as a galvanizing force towards self-transformation.
Just like Yogeshwar Linga consecrated and placed in front of the statue in Thirunamam at Coimbatore, this place has Naga Mantapa with a blissful sculpture. This is definitely going to mark a new era for Karnataka Tourism.
It is located 7 kms from Chickballapur, 35 kms from Bangalore International Airport and 65 kms from Bangalore. The construction is going on in a full swing and is all set to be inaugurated on Sankranti i 2023. Om Namah Shivaya!
The place is getting ready for grand unveiling by Sadhguru on Jan 15th. Shiva Statue is mesmerizing. When compared to coimbatore total area is less but uniquely located nestled among the hills. Once the civil and road work is completed it will be prime tourist destination. For time being until they install street lights better to visit during day time, as the area is isolated.
Still Construction is going on. After finishing u can visit bcoz outlook will b awesome after finishing it. Isha foundation is there in Coimbatore also beautiful place to visit. If you want to visit pls go ahead from June to January climate condition will be nice to visit.
Om Namah Shivaya! Place is under construction and will be opened by Sadhguru on January 15th. The roads are also under construction. On the way view is beautiful with quarry. Do not miss visiting and at 12PM aarthi will be done. Crowded during weekends. Food is available in small tents. Washrooms are also available. Parking is well managed as of now maybe later on it will be a concern.
