Ishanya India Foundation

The internship itself was intensive and through classroom observations and occasionally assisting I was able to better understand the field of special education. I learnt a lot from the educators at Ishanya Academy. I loved working with the Sameti kids and the whole experience as a whole was very rewarding. Specifically, how when you make some progress with them and they respond or complete a task, you feel so proud and it reignites your passion for the field and reminds you why exactly you're doing this

Interning at Ishanya was one of the best experiences I have had. The educators are so supportive and gave me so much room to grow and learn during my internship, and working with the children was truly amazing. Most of the time, I felt like they were teaching me much more than I was teaching them! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better work environment.

Ishanya is like 'a home away from home'. I recently worked as an intern here. The exposure and support I received from the special educators and staffs were immense. They have an excellent working environment and I gained extensive experience here.

Restricting students in rooms, with no physical activities, no attempt to expose to real world.

My son enjoys going to class. The educators are friendly and work according to child's strengths.
