We had an amazing stay experience. Wonderful host, great hospitality and delicious food. Would love to visit again.

Situated in a very picturesque and serene location, Jagate's Mist Homestay is an ideal vacation destination. The property is massive and walks around the property are pleasurable.

Speaking about the service, the service is impeccable and highly efficient. The staff is courteous, professional, friendly and happy to assist.

The food is extraordinary. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are served and each and every dish is outstanding.

Overall, the experience is rejuvenating and relaxing and joyful.

The only reason for a full 5 star rating, I could not find an issue that was worth highlighting. We were 7 of us and it was a last minute plan, and the choice of Jagatesmist was the best decision we took. The hospitality, the food and the very friendly and efficient team who runs the home stay will bowl u over. If you are looking for a drive out of Bangalore (5 hours with break) into a scenic place. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed

Hemawati river nearby and hills for traking will give you great experience, property is almost coffee plantation, will give you refreshing experience, with kids and elderly person you can enjoy stay, food, sightseeing etc.

Overall it was a wonderful place, as we enjoyed the Passing clouds, camp fire, tasty food with good ambience.

We had booked for 2 days and checked out on Monday.one of the best homestays i have visited.

Food is the best.on time homemade and delicious food and variety of food offered is the best.offers best view and pretty close to most of the places. Hosts treat you as family. Care taker Rajanna is the best and hard working person.always carries smile.

Superb place and really excellent service, loveable people who are all taking care of guests. Very nice place to have repeated visits. Food is awesome and all are excellent at this place. We all lived very much.

We have chosen to stay in this homestay based on earlier reviews and its proximity to visit near by places like Bisle ghat, Malahalli waterfalls, Patle betta and Kukke Subrahmanya.

We had an amazing stay for 2 days. We loved the nonveg food provided. The rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are well maintained.

Overall we had a great time in this place.

HORRIBLE HOME STAY, cheap place, and people running the place with Poorest hygiene, low quality food - you have to really ask for food & it’s served in limited amount. Hygiene - they don’t ever clean the rooms, nor they change the bedsheets or clean the toilets, Towels & food mats are same!
The only thing they are worried about is money, Zero hospitality & No bills provided for anything you pay, if you ask for the bill they threaten you to pay cash or else they Lock the gates and not allow you to go. THE WORST HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE OUR FAMILY EVER HAD.

Amazing location, huge courtyard and lovely hosts. Simple home cooked food and nice bonfires by the night. We will visit again.

Happened to go there on a weekday as 1 day trip, approach was good. Despite it being a weekday, we were welcomed by authentic Malnad lunch which was more than we could ask for both quality and quantity wise. Hygienic too.
The staff were approachable and polite, Mobile network in the area is pretty less which actually helped us stay away from phone screens.
All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Looking forward to anotger trip sometime soon.

The occasion was a renewal of almost 4 decades old bonding and a bunch of school mates had this opportunity recently. A reunion of old friends, our gang. Some food, some memories, a lot of laughter and saucy stories by the bonfire. And the place chosen for the grand hangout was the 'Jagate's Mist'.

Needless to say, we could have never made a better decision. The place was perfect for this. The hospitality and warmth extended by Team Jagate's Mist made it a really homely experience. Super warm and friendly people with the heart at the right place. Lovely setting at a pristine location and we totally loved it. The natural green space was a wonderful refreshing change. The patchy mobile network ensured we were cut off from the world (grateful for the small mercies), and we loved it. It was a wholesome experience with yummy fresh food being cooked for every meaI - by the caretaker. Simple, tasty and nutritious Malenadu cuisine - farm to table.

It was like being lost in the wilderness and loving it. To sum it all up, it was engaging, organised and ethical. Must visit for a quick weekend recharge before you get back to the rigmarole of city life. Test your fitness by climbing the hillock close by. Or just laze around in the farm.

We did not realize we were making memories, all we knew was that were having fun. Thank you, Team Jagate's Mist, for creating such a wonderful stay when we needed it. May your tribe increase.

Very good place for relaxing no pollution calm place with coffee plant surrounding good homely food veg and non veg with good taste prepared by their family member, choice will be considered what we need, rooms are spacious I visited 3 times with family as well as with friends also

We visited this home stay based on one of my friend's suggestion and its really a beautiful place. People are very nice and their hospitality was very good. The food was simply superb and we enjoyed it. They even helped us to go for trekking. It's a nice place to visit and worth for the money you are paying.

Beautiful home stay option in Sakleshpur; special highlight being excellent food at all times. I couldn’t but help capture the breakfast menu consisting of top quality Neer dosa, with coconut and jaggery, sagu and Kesari bhath. Their chicken dishes, especially chicken gravy was enjoyed by all.

The home stay has a nice driveway, has ample space for parking several vehicles and has 4 rooms in main building and 2 more in an annex. Beds are comfortable, warm blankets provided, generator back up ensures continuous hot water supply, clean bathrooms; but it’s better to carry bath towels of your own.

While coming from Bengaluru, we took the Tumkur-Kunigal-Channarayapatna on NH 75, then along Holenarsipur- Arakalagud- Shanivarsanthe on SH8 to finally drive on Bisle Ghat road where this home stay is located. The route is misty and cool from Arakalagud onwards with Hemavathi backwaters seen.

This is an amazing place with a breathtaking scenic beauty. The best part about this place is the food This place is around bisle Ghat. Mokkanna falls. Mallahalli falls. This is the 3rd time im visiting this place. It's cost effective and worthy in all terms. You will never get tired of visiting this place utterly for its food and view. Just one small thing that could have been here is a swimming pool.

A great homestay for family, friends and office outings. Good and well maintained accommodation, good food as well. Staff is also very amicable. Good outdoor activities available. Surrounded by coffee plantation and has lots of open space. Enjoyed the bonfire in the evening. Close to view points like Bisle ghat etc.

Jagate's home stay is a very nice place for family stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Food served here is very delicious and the service rendered is excellent. The premises is in the midst of coffee plantations with nice greenery all around.

Homestay is located amidst lush greenery and has one of the best views of the nearby hills. The place is really spacious, well maintained and clean. It has rope games/activities available and you can explore their coffee estate too. They have an amazing helper ‘Pradip’ who is really helpful:)

Coming to hospitality and food which are usually the selling points of any homestay, I would say these are really not up to the mark. The host was not welcoming at all and a bit rude at some points which is really disappointing. Night dinner was bad with no taste or variety. Though evening tea and snacks are included, we had to ask twice for the same.

Overall an okay okay experience. Can be improved a lot.

Cozy homestay nestled in the foothills of bisle. Food options are less in the property. Host brews a mean cuppa of coffee for breakfast though

Beautiful home stay location! As the name indicates you can experience mist early morning and in evenings. Large spacious rooms and an awesome bungalow to live XL life at least for few days

It's a great and well maintained homestay.

- 30 min trek (very close to the homestay and you will definitely love the view and greenary from the top)

Beautiful location, excellent hospitality, facilities, games for children and luxurious accomodation homely atmosphere with food facility we enjoyed a lot.

Very nice place located in Bisle ghat, amidst the western ghats with lush green landscape, best part was that all 10 of us from the family could stay together in the bungalow. Food was amazingly good - that stole the hearts from teens to older adults!

The property is surrounded by hills, coffee plantation and other trees, which offer enchanting and relaxing environment. The property is spacious, lavish and tastefully decorated, that has good, clean and airy rooms and all the facilities. We rarely find such extremely warm, kind, helpful and hospitable staff. The staff offered us a variety of mouth-watering south Indian cuisine. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us! One must stay in this place to enjoy the food and the famous site-seeing places around!

People. Food and hospitality was amazing! It’s very remote and you won’t get telephone signals, which makes the overall experience even better.

Had been for a team outing here. Best place for a weekend getaway. It's located in a coffee estate and you will have network issues. However, if you are looking for a peaceful place. This would be it!

Kind of a hidden gem! Amazing hosts, grand house tucked in 25 acre coffee eatate. You will get a guided hike to a small hill which is worth taking early morning (30min each way). Food was lovely, cooked by hosts. I would highly recommended for small groups (4 and above) to large groups (20-30).

Very quite place.right i front of a hillock where you can go for a guided trek. Well located to cover most of the attractions in shakleshpura.
Everyone very friendly nice and we had a good time for 2 days. Kids can enjoy farms around. There are some adventure sports set up made.

An awesome home stay so far I have stayed in. All the staffs are super Co-Operative. Food is excellent. Neatly maintained rooms. Trecking in the morning was so nice. Last but not the least the dogs are super who accompanied us through out and had a lot of fun.

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Rooms and bathrooms were huge n clean. Nice & clean bed spread & blankets, 24 hrs hot water facility. The food that was served was a huge spread of authentic Malnad Delicacies. Plenty of team building activity in the plantation area. View from the Veranda is awesome. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Awesome place to stay at sakleshpur. It's around 40km from sakleshpur town but bisle ghat view point and mallalli falls are bit near to this place. Best part of this homestay is food. They provide very delicious food. Homestay is located in between coffee plantation. Ideal place for people travelling with friends or family.

We had been there for the New Years. It’s a great place if you are going in a group. Beautiful house and good accommodation, feels very homely with great food. Lovely place to relax. Had a great time.

I think it’s a over hyped place. I booked after reading all reviews here and was disappointed with the way property is maintained.its dirty, playing equipment not usable, food is average. I am really not sure how others have rated it so high. The house is big and I had expected better. I had planned for 2 nights but due to my disappointment I decided to leave early.variety in food was less and common living area seem like a mess.so clearly for price, reviews I was totally disappointed. I have been to better Homestays in past at similar price range.so pls opt only if you don’t have any other choice

The owner called me later and kept on pastoring me to change feedback.totally unacceptable behaviour and taking so rudely over phone.asking me why did I not go to all the rooms and tried calling.totally ridiculous behaviour and highly unprofessional.

The place is so beautiful since it is very near to Bisile ghat. Kitchen Staff served wonderful malnad food which I cherish for a long time. Place is so cool and property maintainance is very good.
