It’s a completely Vegetarian place. Food is good too they give you pan juice at the end as a compliment and also if you are entering inside to eat that means you agreed to pay 10% service tax. It’s not worth to be a fine dining restaurant.the ambiance is not so good too
Waiter forgot to get salad and got main course before salad. He started giving excuses when we questioned him. Manager Hemant is also mindlessly argumentative. Don’t understand what the customer is trying to say. Bad experience
Extremely bad taste. Worst service I have seen at any restaurant in have been to in the recent months. Very dirty and dusty place. Will definitely not visit again nor recommend.
The food is good & so are the menu options. But the ambiance is a bit dark & stuffy. Need brighter & simpler refurbishing if the whole space. The kitchen is very messy
The taste is forever excellent here, starters and biryanis are a personal favourite. Post COVID the service and staff have reduced causing a little delay. It’s a must go to have the best vegetarian food, in Bangalore, they also have exclusive Jain food.
Worst experience. Food was below average. Seeing the other reviews ordered bhutta cigars. The milano pizza was very tangy. Interiors were old. Some staff dint wear mask at all. Overall not at all a good experience.
This is an average place in terms of taste of food and service. We could easily sense the waiter was in hurry to close our order so table can be released - didn't expect this.
I have visited this restaurant before pandemic and it's nothing close to before; taste and service have degraded.
We had been to lunch one day. We asked for a thali, three butter rotis and a paneer gravy (do not remember the name). The food was awesome and we did not have complaints with it. Only the service could have been a little better. We had ended up paying about 850 INR which did not feel like too much. We would love to be back here. Good luck!
We are settled in Bangalore since 2014 and I feel this is amongst the promising diner that we have come across so far.
The flavour, presentation and portion of everything are worth the money that we are paying for.
They have a variety of meals illustrated on their menu. Right from the starters to the desserts.
Once you visit this place, the temptation of the dishes will propel you to explore the cuisine and visit this place again and again. I relished every bite of my food.
The servers are so polite and will help you to choose the menu if you have children / senior citizens with you.
One of the long serving restaurants in the area Been a regular here for more than a decade and happy to see their menu evolving with times to meet the varied taste of customers
Very courteous staff who provide apt suggestions from menu to cater to your taste buds Pan shot being my favorite here
The food was mostly moderate and some of them were good. The platter had a variety of items but some were not great. On recommendation we ordered cheese kaju masala it wasn't so great. Overall it was nice
Waited for 20 minutes for a glass of water, about 25 minutes for our order to be taken 30 minutes for the jaljeera and masala pappad, and another 45 minutes for the butter naan to arrive which never did.the reason.unknown, that's a total of 2 hrs for a jaljeera and masala pappad, Rs 220, with a 10% Service charge.ha ha ha.its a joke in the name of a restaurant. Over priced, nothing called fine dining.there is no dining!
Went on a Tuesday, 14th September 2021. Saw North Indian Mini Meals on the menu and ordered it. The waiter first said that it is not there. Then, I showed him the Menu. He then said that atleast 3 people should take North Indian Mini Meals, and they will not serve for just one person! I really couldn't understand this nonsense logic! Then, he said, I should order the alacarte menu. I was like wondering whether, for having come to a restaurant, and for the money that I pay, should I eat what I want to, or should I eat whatever they enthrust on me!?
The food was just okay in taste - but quite expensive for the quantity they provide.
I will NOT go here again nor will I recommend anyone to go here.
The place offers variety of vegetation food. It is must visit place for food lovers who like to spend quality time with friends and family. The place is specious and can adopt up to 70-100 people.service is bit slow. We had baby corn golden fry. Jalpaan fries, piza, Garlic bread is too good with green chetny and ketchup it taste delicious. Chines Manchurian are not available.for starters. Rest i wish you all visit jalpan once.:)
Plenty of Cuisine Different Flavours Quite Great Variety Great Hospitality Clean Place. Menu not a Hard Copy But Instead A Soft Copy Just Scan Go to the Given Website and Get Anything From It. Also Everything is Available. But a Bit Costly
These guys grossly violate government rules of service charges. They make you mandatory pay service charges and show u a small memo pasted on the door. Sheer lack of business ethics and no respect to the law of the land. This is another nway of extortion. This is the last time, no more jalpaan and its other brands. Unethical practices.
Amazing food. Tasted Makai aur badam ka shorba in soup and chitti aayee hai in starter which were very unique. Quick service and many options to choose from
Bad experience. The place can be run so much more better, given it's a pure vegetarian, north indian place. But, the experience is not at all satisfactory. Ordered palak chat- literally got hot chips palak with curds and sev. Nothing else. Tasted so bad, and quality was just low. Cold starters are served. Roti and curry were the only things that was bareable. Even drinks are casually got with hands, and no serving tray. All the finger prints were left on the juice glass, this doesn't looks good at all, especially during this pandemic. Otherwise also it isn't a good way of serving drinks! Please maintain hygiene, and ask the staff to be more presentable. That is absolutely not the way to serve drinks. Lost my appetite looking at the way it was being served. Bad dining experience. Such poor service and so much service tax. Please improvise and learn to maintain some hygiene at least maintain good level of service for the price that you are charging.
Been for a friends birthday party! Though v warned the manager about the high salt in the dishes they continued to serve the same. Very rude staff.need to take action urgently unhappy customer
Good ambiance. Great taste. Decent staff. Loved til babycorn, and chitti aayee hai starters. Paneer was very soft and fresh. Overall loved the experience. Must visit. But missing pan shot every time.
Food Quality was over all good. But the some of the iteams are not available and the service was late. And in future Jalpaan should add the unlimited option.
An interesting menu. A twist to North Indian fare. Also some choice of nachos and an Indian pizza! Efficient service. Clean and hygiene protocols maintained. Lighting is a but too dim, I could barely read the menu. Perhaps they can have a small table lamp. I had to use the mobile phone torch to reassure menu. A week bit expensive. Worth a visit for sure. This place was worth a visit. I think valet parking is available. I parked on a bylane.
Good place for a family dinner of birth Indian cuisine. Good options for starters as well as main course. Do phool do khaas starter is a must try if you like broccoli.
We ordered lazeez kumbh, do phool do swaad, matka biryani. The taste over all was good but highly priced. I personally did not like the matka biryani much. It had a pudina flavour with channa in it. Tasted more like channa chaat.
A good vegetarian fine dining restaurant. We went on a weekday so it was not crowded. We enjoyed the starter, particularly Bhuta Cigar, the pricing is still reasonable and good service. The ambiance requires some makeover. Parking is a challenge, however, you can find parking on the side roads. The restaurant is not disabled and wheelchair accessible. Overall a decent experience and suitable for families.
Very bad taste of the food. We wanted to celebrate a birthday of my friend and had been there.ordered 3 items and all three wer very bad.we just told them to get the bill and left from there.inspite of that, they charge service tax.
Amazing experience. Excellent taste and quality. Jain option also available for some dishes. Service is top-notch! Truly a fine dining experience. As an icing over the cake, there is a paan vendor just outside and he makes tasty sweet paans.
Nice place for family, Good ambience, courteous staff and delicious food especially potli biryani. 1 less star because there is no car parking available and 10% extra service charges.
This is a nice place to visit. Food is good. If you are visiting this place on weekends, then please book in advance and then go. Also be there on time. Else be ready to wait for atleast 20-25 mins for the table.
Good food.decent ambiance.worth it for a family veg outing.waiters will try to make you order more than that is required by suggesting quantity is less.
