This is one of the Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra (PM People's Medicine Centre) located adjacent to Hennur Main Road (new Airport Road). Store offers alternatives to the same drugs and medicines made by general brands in the market, at highly discounted rates. This is a boon for the poor/low earning families/and even for anyone wishing to get same drugs at cheaper cost. This is great initiative by "Govt. Of India". The prices are 80-85% lower than the general brands in normal stores.

Incase non availability of medicine, they note the same and get it as early as possible and inform the customer through mobile.

Shortly they are planning for delivery of medicines at the customer's place in case the customer is not able to visit the store.

Medicines available at astoundingly low rates. Great initiative by Government. Mr. Younus is a man with abundance of patience. Extraordinarily helpful. Available both on phone and whatsapp. Even if medicines are not in stock Mr. Younus will order the same for you and Even initimate you once stock arrives.

Get generic medicines at discounted rates here. Mr. Younus who runs the place is very hardworking and if you request him, he puts a lot of effort to procure the medications if not in stock already. He is available on whatsapp and call as well. The road may be a bit narrow so 2 wheelers would be best to park near the shop. Else you can park your 4 wheeler at Hennur road from where the shop is few meters walkable.

Highly recommend. Even if medicines are not in stock they ordered it and updated me when the medicines were available that too the very next day. And all the medicines are at discounted price

This is really very good initiative from the govt and the pharmacist handle very well in the HBR layout franchise and helpful to the people. The billing system should be updated quickly as the franchise finding difficult to print bill. Otherwise all well and helpful.

Normally medicines are available at cheaper rate. Certain medicines are unavailable. Pharmacist to maintain those medicines also as per customers requirement. Good to get the medicines at affordable rate for the middle class and lower middle class people. Today I purchased a medicine in a medical shop which cost around ₹195 for 1 sheet of 10 tablets. The same composition medicines cost is ₹60 in
JAN OUSHADI KENDRA. People have to come forward and utilise the govt initiative in the pharma sector.
