Excellent place for office outings or big group, two swimming pools, rope activities, a river stream nearby.food was average though.not many options for veg.but nonveg food was good

Food was pathetic especially for dinner.
Suggest to negotiate without food and take ala carte.
Room are also just average

It was a very good resort situated in very nice place. They provided very good food & snacks. All the activities including swimming pool & artificial was very good. Every one enjoyed a lot. Owner is also very friendly & co operative.

An amazing place and Mr. Mohan was an amazing host and manager. I would recommend my friends and peers too. Do not go by the bad reviews where they tell the owner was rude or the manager was rude he was not at all rude and it was a deliberate review as the guests who stayed there created a rucks by drinking and losing self control. Rest assured the property is really amazing and very well maintained with sports and activities

Location is good but they need to improve on the quality of food they provide and even on variety front they need to check.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. The food is amazing and delicious. I have never seen any place offering such food with care. The rooms are clean and nice, you can get a view of the coffee garden. I would thank the owner for giving me a Wonderful experience

More of a Commercial resort good for team outings. Not a good choice, if you are looking out for a mesmerizing view. The place is well maintained though.

Very bad experience. Low standered cow shed like resort with high rate. You will not get even a towel, soap or like that. No provision for dress keeping.two plastic chair is the only furniture. Poor quality food. The cleaning staff in dining hall will approach you with their mouth filled with Pan. No safety tools in pool.

It was a pleasant place & atmosphere. The only thing they need to maintain properly the rest room, as last week we visited hear & we experienced a bad in rest room, like in early morning water was not coming in the rest room. As we need to leave this place for some other location. So request to maintain the water flow in all the rest room please.

Excellent resort for nature lovers. Had a nice time with family and friends. Manager and Staff were extremely helpful and always ready to put extra effort to make the stay of guest enjoyable. Their kind gesture and hospitality has always been beyond satisfaction. I truly feel like a guest and not just a regular customer so hats of to your team.

The view the roads (major parts) the climate, the people, bon fire, pools, indoor/outdoor sports, the projector, party hall, power backup, music system, worth a visit. You name it the property has it.

Great for group or office trip, can accomodate 200+ people and the food here is amazingly delicious and vast variety people managing the property is doing job, My trip includes two couples & one child on July 16 to July 17. We enjoyed at it's fullest.

Good location, easy to reach. You can go to near by river about 1 km (hemavathy) by walk. Food is pathetic especially veg and no variety. No network or ON OFF very often.

Place is maintained very well and food is something which is excellent. Most important cleanliness. 2 individual separate pools available.

We were a grp of 9 females.stayed at this resort from the 13 th to the 15 th of may.the property is very conveniently located and within a coffee plantation with Hemavathi river running beside it.the food was good. Mr Mohan was very helpful with the arrangements.

Service was not upto the mark, especially the evening snacks and coffee/Tea were bad. Food were also too spicy for kids to have. Menu was very standard and no changes were made after request as well, for Veg no variety as such. Veg people can avoid, Non veg it is good.

Very good location to keep your self away from Buzzing world but payment to resort is very tedious job, no credit card accepted, poor network to pay thru digital money like Gpay/Ppay

Rooms were spacious, but some more comfortability required. Food was good both veg and non vegetarian. Nice location in between coffee estates.

Ok.so I had searched this resort on malnad stays. Had a round of discussions and finalized this.

Well, the resort is very good.

It has activities, cricket play areas, kids play area, many rooms. Mohan sir, manager at this location is also very friendly. The staff are also very cooperative.

Improvements can be done in activities.
Rain dance was not functional when I visited, while check out it was working. Too late)

There is river near by which is a very good spot to visit. Coffee and black pepper plantations are very good and make feels close to nature.

Few rooms need maintenance.

Awesome experience with very nice ambience. The food was so delicious loved it. Lot of activities with two swimming pool. KIds will enjoy alot. Totally rejuvenating environment. The property is well maintained. ️

The Jappadhkallu Resort is a sprawling estate surrounded by lush green coffee and pepper plants. The sound of birds chirping is really relaxing.
This property's owner is always pleasant and approachable.
It's a wonderful place to visit with family and friends.
The food is truly mouthwatering both Veg and Non-Veg.
Chicken Fry, Gulab Jamun, Jackfruit Biryani, and Fish Curry were all tried.
Rooms are kept clean, and hot water is available at all times.
Gopal provided excellent service. Hospitality is a positive trait.
Swimming enthusiasts will enjoy themselves in a well-kept pool.

Had worst experience.they are bluffing you where in they have three different websites with different names.service is too bad they won't respond to your need and these is no normal facilities which will be provided normally in other resorts.rooms are not Maintained, there is leakage of water from the roof.food is not provided at the right time and taste is really bad.owner is really rude

Pros: location and ambience of resort. Pakoda and tea in the evening
Cons: unhygienic rooms/bathroom, reused bed liners, unhygienic food (fortunately no stomach upset), almost no food choices for vegetarian. The bonfire & music was overtaken by one group, rest of them have to simply follow whether they like it or not. Understaffed.

Many physical activities are there and there are 2 swimming pools are present. With maximum of 6 feet depth.

Most horrible experience I think 140% occupancy felt like hostel canteen rooms are very dirty owner Was behaving like local rowdy hot water was not provided and worst part was drinking water was also not provided bath room was not heigenic the most pathetic experience not at all recommended

One of the best stay I have visited.neat and clean rooms, lawn, swimming pool etc. Good food.especially service was top level. I appreciate service boy Bharath and Kumar and manager Mohan for best hospitality.i suggest this stay blindly.

Resort is very nice and remote.
Away from disturbances and middle.of rich greenery and banks of river.
Location has 2 swimming pools, kids play area, dining hall, conference room and ample place for playing cricket and small games.

Personally I noticed over weekend lot of young crowd will be there and most of them will be consuming alcohol which is fine as long as no issues created. When I was there there were no issues. Ppl were enjoying alcohol and partying.

1.onion pakodas at tea time.

2. Misleading pics on d internet, this property has 3 names with different prices n diff rooms. U dont get what you asked for.
3.the most unhygenic rooms n toilets.
4. Our room had roof seepage when it rained.
5. Same staff for kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
6. The staff took our blankets n pillows that we used at night and placed it neatly without even changing covers for the other room guests.
7. Cockroach in d room.
8. Food was purely mediocre
9.swimming pools had murky green water.
10. The mugs and buckets had slime on it, and slipped when I tried to touch.
11. The bathrooms were horrible.
12. No toileteries provided, not even a soap.
13.we had to bathe in cold water, even after asking for hot water multiple times. The staff didn't bother.
14. No water bottle/ glass / kettle in the room.
So.unless you want some amazing pakodas, steer clear of this place.
We booked for 2 nights, and scooted after 1 day by 12 noon, stating 'its an emergency' as it really was an emergency for our personal hygiene!
And even though we had to pay for both nights. Just good riddance!

I would not like to rate this resort as it does not even deserve 1 star.
1) Rooms were horrible / unhygenic/no service/no hot water.
2) Not suitable for a family stay.
3) staff behaviour was not good.

We made a booking for 2 nights through malnad stay, we reached there by 12: 30 n the rooms weren't ready n we had to wait for over an hour n half. Food was really pathetic n another customer complained about the kebab being rubbery n the manager's response was after one peg they feel rubbery then what will they say after 4 pegs, he even mocked them by showing a rubber pencil n said this is rubber. We had family emergency n told them we will checkout but they had no humanity n asked us to pay for both days, we spoke to the agency n that guy was really rude to my friend when she spoke to him n when I spoke he challenged me saying I'll see how will u leave without paying n right after that the property guys locked the gates. We had to pay 3500 for them let us go but the one person who was sweet n caring is the GOPAL who's one of the care takers there. Really disgusted with the way they handle the customer n most importantly don't ever book through malnad stay agency

Worst rooms I have ever seen.room doesn't have wifi, ac, tv, no other amenities like soap, tissue paper.very dirty. I vacated the room in 10 mins.frustrated. No point in giving even 1 point. They demanded full payment even after cancelling in 10 mins. Parking is also not that great. I don't recommend at all.

Yes I suggest to try out holidays in Jappadhkallu Resorts with Family & Friends and Incharge team showing us excellent taste and services in foods all 3 times. Very cleaned Swimming pool to enjoy the swimming with our kids. Rooms also clean and tidy and outdoor games are good for time passing in day timing.

It isn't a great place.
Just a normal estate where they have built a complex like rooms. Service is good.

It's not so great place. Veg food is not at all good. Rooms are okay. No games. I won't suggest this place for any one. One star is for the river flowing nearby.

Worst host ever i have visited. Food was average. Service is very bad. Staff behaviour was rude. I had to checkout in mid way as i was not comfortable with their behaviour, Owner refused to refund the amount and when we refused he started putting pressure on us by telling he is a chairman of surrounding 4 villages and will not let us go outside the gate.

Overall i did not like the way they presented themselves. Think twice before you chekin

It was gud had play area nice swimmingpool but i wont suggest it for d people who want privacy, its kinda crowded.has dancing area, u get to ve food chilling around camp fire food was fine.overall its a nice place

Had been there for weekend fun with friends n colleagues. Average food, poor ambience. Compact rooms, Hospitality of the owner is irritating. No timely service from workers and rude behaviour with us and other visitors as well. Bed bugs and mosquitoes are your great companions. To ruin the weekend relaxing mood, this place is situated in the jungle. I strongly would not recommend this place to any of the enthusiastic travellers who love be a part of nature.
Notice: Refund process is very difficult as owner is greedy. Check the other visitors reviews before visiting.

It's a very good place to enjoy they charge around 2k to 2.5k but it's worth of paying. They treated us very well really it was a enjoyable day for us

This Property Owner is a fraud, we were group 20 friends visited this Resort. Nemraj (owner) promised us to give unlimited starters in the evening, but deliberatly delayed to give so that we consume less.
At the time of Billing we raised this issue, but the owner started to abusing us with bad words and started to threaten and also lock us inside the Resort

The behavior of employees & resort owner was totally 3rd class, even putted restriction to enjoy at resort also used bad languages am#### ak#### like this type of walgar languages used to customers. After check out exit gates all are locked troubled too much these everything was happened on the instruction of resort owner n there followers. At last overall experience was worst

Worst for family outing will not recommend this stay to anyone.
We were a family of 6 with elder people and kids during booking I enquired if any bachelors or corporate outing is there during our booked dates 29/06/2019 but owner who is an illiterate and don't know to communicate to people in a polite and gentle way told us no we will manage so do advance and book the stay.
During our stay there were 30 bachelors group who where drinking infront of family and couple cried in resort and deliberately started talking to us and my daughter and one guy came and gav rose to my daughter in front of me itself and when I complained this to owner he said to adjust as its weekend and did nothing about the issue, so we vacated immediately paying full amount as he was nowhere to understand our concern.

Note this point the owner Nemraj scoundrel drinks with guests which is insane and no proper staff for service. Overall very bad experience

All of a sudden Cops entered the Resort started inspecting all the rooms questioned the guest, this is bcz the staff in this Resort allows Guests to have WEED and there is a person who comes and asks for massage for family people which irritated to core, which is encouraged by this Dirty owner of the Resort

Worst resort,
Owner is stupid he don’t have any commn sense. Behaving like stupid for silly issues, he locked inside the resort started to abusing us with bad words and started to threaten, we came back within 4,5 hours and paid full charge because of his threats.

Best weekend getaway. Delicious home made food, friendly staff. They have a pool which is well maintained. Spacious outdoor area where you can play badminton, cricket, football. They provide racket, bat and balls too! They have cycles for all age people -Toddles, kids and elders! They even have zip line and muddy pool.

As the name says, its a resort. Do not mistake it for a homestay.
Very new property. Neatly maintained. Very good ambience. Friendly host and staff. You tell it once and you get it immediately.
You get on n off cell phone reception.location - you don't get to see any valleys or hills beside the resort.this place is located in the outskirts so its peaceful.

Facilities - Badminton court, place to play cricket, has a small bobby kinda bike for kids, Mud volleyball, swimming pool, rappelling kinda stuff, Dance floor, Body and head massage facility.
Swimming pool is open 24/7 there is no restriction whatsoever. However, you cannot play mud volley and get into the pool.
Pool is new and tidy.

Rooms - Consists of Dormitory and single and double rooms. Rooms were neat. However, the bedspreads were a bit dirty, I personally experienced itchiness in the night when i slept. Bathroom was tidy and gets hot water as and when requested. DO NOT EXPECT TOILETRIES.

Lunch was awesome, variety options. High tea and snacks were perfect too. No complaints. Dinner was ok ok.

Access to the resort from main road is under construction but not a big deal. You might have to download the maps offline as the cellphone reception drops half way after you cross the city.

A must visit for family and friends.

We have visited in the month of October, natures beauty was at its peak. The drive/ride to the place was awesome. Reaching out to the place was easy, as the direction boards were indicated as and when required.
The stay, food, adventure filled games, swimming pool, mud volley ball, children's play area, dancing floor all of it makes it an ideal place for recreation.

One of the best Homestays I have ever stayed! I had organised a stay at this place as a team outing for my colleagues. And it was worth every rupee spent. Everything was as described by the owner Mr. Nemaraj. The staff members were very courteous and took care of our needs. The food.was awesome.and it exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was clean and nicely maintained. And the highlight of the evening was the unlimited starters.although started a bit late.but it was not a issue at all.everything was tasty.
I recommend this place for those who are looking for enjoyment and partying during weekends!

Place as is its very good. Easy to drive here. Located at a nice location. Amenities here are very good. Has a good pool, zip line, rain dance and lot of indoor and outdoor activities to kill the boredom.
Issues we had -
Traveled with 6 kids all aged around 4 and 5. Lunch spread was elaborate, but was severely spicy. We were the only guests and still we did not get the food with less spices.
Towels are not provided.
Kids aged 5 are also charged half of adults price. Owner asks the age of kids directly with the kids and decide the price for them.
Pros -
Activities are too good.
Clean rooms.
Unlimited snacks after high tea.
