Bad service
Actually I have some monthly period problem it’s getting twice in a month that to within 10 days.
So I visited General hospital Jayanagar I n Sunday they have informed to come on Tuesday.

When I went on Tuesday they are giving appointments after 3 months is this the correct thing they are doing?

If we have issue then only will visit the correct place right but they are telling us or I can say providing appointments date after 3 months so we have to wait till 3months Thn will visit to the hospital in that period something will happen who is responsible for that.

At the last they have not provided any treatment and send me back telling to come on appointment date.

I give a two star to the gynaecology unit there. Dr. Vidhyavethi, the senior most as told by the other doctors, asked me to learn kannada in order to get her consultation. She and her unit doctors denied to check me because my husband questioned them, "why and who are you to ask my wife to learn hindi". They even asked me to apologise to her for questioning her, but i denied. She might be even the almighty but for a patient you are only a doctor. She might be the best gynaecologist but that does not mean we must agree with what ever she says. Did the doctors learn MBBS, MD in kannada or tamil or hindi? Then whats their problem in speaking in hindi. The in-charge superintendent Dr. Sudha has been informed and we have given a written complaint to the medical council. We wonder how such great professions could be so insensitive. The doctors unwantedly shouted at the security and staff there for letting my husband inside.

Worst doctor in this hospital they didn't check me i don't know how can they give me medicine without checking me and those medicine he provided me its doesn't work so i request evereyone don't go in this hospital.

Room 45 doctor are rude behaviour.
Not currectly facilities are ultra sound.
Not given emergency scanning facilities.

I visited this hospital for my kid medical certificate two times, both the times my experience is good and staff is very supportive

Very worst hospital workers I thought money begging staff especially MCH gyneac Ward 2 sister sunitha she is very rude behaviour also begging money she is irresponsible staff, both nursing and all asking directly money and toilet, water too bad is very worst and nurse responding also very worst really not good this hospital.and night time doctor not available.and without money no one helping for patient. I am request be carefull for patients.

Worst staff, no Manner's people.
No humanity's, care less. Don't go there

Well equipped and treatment is hifi. Doctors are well appreciated to giving a good services to patience. Doctors are well trained and specialist here.

Good, but equipment like bp monitor should be procured of good quality. Doctos rely on those and advice, but it is risky.

Best Government Hospital in Bangalore.
For Skin and Orthopedic. As per my experience good doctor and staff

Doctors are worst, I had lesion, papules and acne on face, neck and head I showed them without not even looking it properly they said it's a cyst and need to do operation, I later showed it in pvt clinic and did biopsy and turned out cutaneous TB (Skin TB), in sds i showed to doctor and taking tb medicines

When I visited last it was pretty good Doctors are very good I was awestruck a Govt Hospital is so nice! I am proud of it

Fair and decent support by all staff members.

But some sick persons from other state is making inappropriate comment. If the person is so much passionate about their state or another state, better go and live in their state - sic.

I'm a keralite who is working in Bangalore. Our hospitals are 100% better than this. We have 24 hours casuality and at least a normal practicing doctor or head nurse will be dere. Here no one is responsible. No doctors, no nurses even dere is no proper security. But dey will collect proper money from you for parking. Is karnataka government is dat much poor to take care of their people? Even Tamilnadu is safer and fairer than you. They always care their people and people coming from neighbouring states. This hospital is so pathetic and even the reception people have no manners. Shameless

Doctor's are really not good in treating patients.
They don't have patients to listen problem of patients (no proper communication).
No proper facility for the people facing too difficulties.
Pharmacy department peoples are not providing medicines to patients, simply telling patient to ask medicine in emergency ward and telling irregular reasons.
(Doctors) that to government professionals should have enough patients to listen the problems of people. I don't find in this hospitals.

Situated in a densely populated area especially by Muslim population. One has to stand in que just for registration for hours.old people are the most troubled lot apart from young mothers with babies standing.the ratio of consultation plus dispensation time to standing in que time is 5: 60 which.means for 5 minute consultation one has to stand in que for 60 minutes. Again there is a waiting ratio at consulting room which ranges from 10 minutes to 20 minutes. By the time one comes out for medicines the hospital time is out at either 1 pm or at 4.0 pm. The chief medical superintendant seems to be not bothered at all as he would be comfortable in ac room with at least 2 lakhs salary perks per month.

Govt has put more hurdles to patients than helping them. Very horrifying experience.even the dispensers at medicine counter ask you to go back to doctors again.they are very rude, not social, arrogant, dumbs, deafs.

Tax payers are not allowed to avail services here. It's been 5 hour's i am in hospital and OPD is sending me to Emergency, emergency sending me to OPD. I am suffering from heavy bleeding but not even any injection or test has been given yet. No RMO or Supritendent are available in their rooms i checked many times from 12 pm it's 2 pm now.

Worst hospital taking to long admits here and speaking present with rudely that also pregnant girls wants wait in queue 1 to 2 hours in standing way how government health ministers seeing this all I don’t what kind of action they’re taking and in this hospital parking wants to pay but in parking that’s owner risk then we want to give pay and parking in hospital that’s we can park in road side only senior authority wants to take strictly action of this hospital thank you for Worst government of Karnataka

Very worst hospital lately responding and money begging staff both nursing and group D dirtiest place no proper water facilities dirty water coming out unclosed drainage pipes in bathroom, they never change garbage cover never change the bed sheets after each patient's use no nurse will be there in the wards and with this maintainance people admitting here just exchange their disease and go, even cats, dogs, pegions enter the hospital potty the room and when i asked them about it one of the nurse responded saying that they are pets of this hospital i dont know where there is one of the rule for a hospital to have a pet and this hospital has become a palace for insects royal families

Wonderful, Hygenically clean, Very cooperative sympathetic staff, Systematic, Strong supply chain. Sr Grecypriya in charge of vaccination deserves a special mention for her kindness and consideration to her patients and senior citizens in particular.

My father got his report as Corona positive today - 10 Jan Monday.
I visited hospital today for my father admission.
-There is no drinking water facility
- Wards are not hygiene
- No power backup (when I was in the hospital power went thrice)
- Doctors are not cooperative.

(I will be listing futher After visiting my father again)

No free cost for c t scan. They were cheating people. No govt facilities at scanning centre. Please Stop going there.

Pathetic. Nobody receives calls. No response from customer Care for message sent. Disappointed that a Health Department / service provider is unresponsive. This was an emergency.

I came here for 18+ covid vaccination had prior appointment
There was no rush Hardly 7 people were there,
Please carry Pen, water bottle, 2 face mask.it's close to Covid block so
Parking available @50/car
Vaccination @ MCH building At ground floor
(Childers and women ward) just opp to main gate of 4th block

I took the first dose of covishield vaccine here and nurses and staff are all trying for a smooth experience so kudos to them. Wear 2 masks and maintain your own social distancing

This is a government hospital.

So facilities and cleanliness are like any other government hospital.

Covid vaccination is available here, there is physical token distribution by BBMP for vaccination, people stand in queue between 7AM-9AM for vaccination token but BBMP officials only come at 9 AM & give token, everyone including senior citizens are forced to stand 2 hours for token. BBMP officials say they give 100-200 tokens everyday of which 30-40 are reserved for health workers. Token & vaccination is only for 45 years and above and is free.

Even after token, they start COVID vaccination at 10.30 AM.

Both during token and during vaccination queue social distancing is not adequate.

Once you enter for vaccination room, the data entry & shots are pretty fast. The doctors/nurses are well trained for vaccination and they do it very effectively.

While for vaccination token there is separate queue, they have common queue for covid test and scanning and here there is no social distancing at all.

The display facilities to understand where to stand for what facilities are very pathetic, so people wonder and suffer a lot wasting time.

While queue are big enough and take hours to move, there are no sitting arrangements. Both Vaccination and testing queue is outside the building and in open sky.

There is adequate 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler paid parking available. For 4 wheeler the attendant asks for Rs. 50/ but it's actually Rs. 20/, so do fight with them for your buck and also collect your token.

We went for our 18+ vaccination on 11/05/21 in Jayanagar General Hospital and the experience was good.

First thing we noticed was there are multiple blocks in the huge premise, 45+, 18+ and corona care is all happening in different blocks which would be a huge relief plus there is enough parking space inside. The whole drive was done very professionally, the steps were simple and the staff were very helpful handing out information to everyone who had a query. Also the staff were making sure social distancing were followed as much as possible which was a good thing.

Even when we were near the vaccination area (inside the block), the floor was very clean for a government hospital and the vaccination providing staff were very helpful and making sure we were comfortable.

There is also a small waiting area to monitor yourself for 15-20 min.

All in all, a good experience, don't wait for a private hospital slot, if you get here go ahead and book one.

Regarding Covid vaccination centre, the hygienic conditions are poor. Covid patients are found moving around near the vaccination centre, safety aspects are not followed at all. Even BBMP vaccine centres are better and safer than this hospital.

I was suddenly feverish with 104 degree & cant breath without oxygen cylinder I was later tested covid positive, before I reached JAYANAGAR GENERAL HOSPITAL, I tried 17 hospitals all over Bangalore, in heavy rain with my private oxygen cylinder breathing my last any moment, all the hospitals private & government says no beds available, only this hospital Dr. Sumanth & Dr. Neha said clearly that I needed a ventilator, which is not available but we will try our best on your risk, I & my family agreed, I swear I got a new life from them.there is no words of the hard work & planning to manage sharing the ICU wards beds in time & saving lives.people dont have patients so they feel government doctors dont work hard.trust & see they give lives.they planned moved a patient to emergency ward from icu for sometime kept me their again shiftee that patient to ICU.like this doctors & sisters worked very hard.
In time hygienic food.daily time to time I never expected such a good treatment I got from JGH I thank the entire staff & pray for their better future, health & prosperity.

The worst place to have a baby born.right from the checkups and everything my wife was forced for a c section.from the info gathered by other people this hospital moves towards c section most why is the big question.i requested for a special ward and was denied cause it was sunday a lame excuse.while in general ward the nurses and doctors are extremly rude and always asking for money inspite of a govt hospital its pathetic bathrooms are extremly unhygienic staff are rude and screaming doctors demand cash.

There is no doctors every time and management is not responding and all workers and doctors are doing careless about patients they are not worrying about poor people's so many peoples are coming from long distance traveling and going without treatment. This is government service.

Wonderful hospital

My first experience to get my medical certificate was excellent. The parking guy not only helped me with parking. He also guided me to the correct room number and doctor. Later, the doctor helped with the certificate instantly with a smile. It was much more than I would have asked for. I came back happy within no time.

Just now I saw the comments and ratings it's to bad to read actually that comment given high class people only because they will give proper treatment only for them but if normal poor patients coming there means they will not give a proper treatment if give money for them na it's good actually I went same emergency they asked the question "why your people coming this time you don't have Sens" they said like this not in one time more then three times and staff nurse talking way to bad ayyyooo Swamy namm pranna thinthare chiiii thuuuuu they are saying like this to patient
So kindly I request to them plz don't talk like that if you're not ready to do the treatment na plz send to patient out side don't talk loose talks' ️

I admitted my wife for delivery on 11th july 2019 in goverment hospital. While admitting doctor were very polite. And after the operation she was not taking care of my wife. We requested for special ward she said if you go to special ward i won't give any treatment for you and you child. So we take general ward. And there also she have'nt given any treatment. Doctors and staff nurses are asking money each every time in morning and night. If money not given they are behaving so arrogant. We asked sunday for discharge on saturday night it self. Doctor said ok but by in morning some money should give to doctor and nurse so that only we allow you to discharge they said. But doctor is was not present on that day. Every lady nurses got amount from us. No one have treated my wife and newborn baby polite and humble.

This is One of the worst hospital, bcoz the doctors & nurses talking style is rude & bad words. & corruption hospital.loacal mla or other govt officers should be visit to this hospital regularly.

Has earned govt. Hospital tag. Has to work hard as people's expectations are high. Huge hospital spacious, lot of scope for development. Well situiated at best place.

I will not talk about the hospital or staff behavior, as Indians knew how govt hospitals are and how hospital staff's behavior towards patients.

As per my experience, unfortunately I can't say the doctors are real or fake as they just don't understand the patient illness symptoms. They will prescribed the treatment as per their mood.

I went there for the first time.dermatology department. It was cleaner compared to other govt hospital. Stuffs were also good. Dr Ravinath was super. The times for OPD stars from 9am to 12.30pm and again from 2pm to 4.30pm. Second Saturday is holiday.

I have visited this hospital multiple times to consult in Dermatology, ENT, Ortho, Ophthalmology and general medicine. Every time I visited I found the staff to be organised and doctors polite. The morning timings are from 9AM-12PM. The afternoon timing to my knowledge is 2PM-4PM. I have always visited before 9.30AM as the hospital is less crowded during this time. Doctors are available from 9AM, so it is better to visit in the early hours else the crowd increase later. I have availed X-RAY facility and Physiotherapy and to my surprise unlike other government institutions, I did not have to pay anything extra apart from the regular charges. I hope this helps.
