The ambiance was simply delightful! And the diverse array of food options (ESPECIALLY THE DESSERTS) made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

After a very bad experience with buffet at one of the similar property in Kolkata with very less hopes went to JW for dinner. It however became one of the best ever dining experience in Kolkata. The overall spread of food was very quite in numbers, taste was real treat to taste buds & overall ambience made it a WOW experience for us after a long time. The staff was so courteous was serving food with a big smile on faces. I would like to offer our special thanks to Mr. Chetan Jagdale, restaurant manger for his hospitality and nice to meet you desert. It is hard to find such courteous staff who are ready to make your experience special. Also would like to add a note of thanks to Sania for her overwhelming help in choosing great food. It was overall very nice experience and would love to visit again. I highly recommend to visit the property for great taste, best hospitality and overall dining experience.

Used to be a great place for their Sunday afternoon “brunch”. Not today.

It’s lunch, not brunch - we arrived at noon, were informed that they would not be ready till 12: 30, were not seated till 12: 50 and not attended to at all for the next 20 minutes. We were not alone, a crowd of people had gathered to wait for staff to set up their weekly buffet.

Poor booking systems (nil response to a call the previous day, plus they refused to acknowledge our booking through an online system on their Google entry (Easy-diner), so I had to ask for a table whilst waiting.

Busy-looking, difficult to hail under-trained staff (trainees perhaps?) - our sangria was served hurriedly with fruit stuck to the sides of the glass. We were left to fend for ourselves - it would have been good to hear which buffet options we had to choose from (eg with or without alcohol). We were charged for the wrong buffet, but one kind waiter promptly sorted it when this was pointed out.

The one star for service is for the managers, not the poor wait-staff. Whoever ran today’s show was responsible for our sub-par experience.

Tired crockery - not ok in a 5- star restaurant.

Food still decent though: pity it is let down by everything else.

In sum, not likely to go back in a hurry. Annoyed I’ll have to look elsewhere. Bad Marriott! - am annoyed you are joining the gang of 5-star hotels that offer 4-star experiences.

We had a fun Sunday brunch
There was a beautiful baked food and bread spread that I couldn't get enough of. Seafood lovers will find this buffet a joy. The sous chef, Sunil, gladly obliged a request for a South Indian style prawns curry. It was an excellent accompaniment to the jasmine rice.

There was live music, people dancing, kids running about a special section for them, and lovely sangria on offer. It was a relaxed, fun, foodie paradise.

Special shout out to the amazing staff. They are super active, moving around the tables with practiced flair, and are extremely attentive. We felt so welcomed and immediately at home.

The space is accessible and wheelchair-friendly, with a tented outside space available. This is where the barbecue, chaat, dimsum, and pav bhaji sections were. Loved it!

Go hungry, so you can savour as much as possible!

The buffet spread was fantastic. There were a lot of options for mains and an amazing spread for the desserts. The starters were less but they tasted great. The vegetarian soup tasted incredible. A special mention to the absolutely phenomenal dessert spread. You can go for multiple helpings and not grow tired of it.

Service is the worst! Food was worse. The only thing good was the place, it looked nice.

You have to keep asking them to serve or get anything twice. Even then, not sure of the response they give. No matter what day, they should treat their customers well, which they didn't do. Highly disappointed.

JW Kitchen offers a wide range of culinary delights, catering to various tastes and preferences. The quality of the food at JW Kitchen was top-notch except few food which i didn't like, can get more options in dessert. Can improve more starters for vegetarians.

Oh my god it's an amazing place to visit, food has extraordinary taste and must try eveyone

To begin with I was excited to visit this place because of the reviews. I may be wrong about the whole thing, but just putting out my exp I had. So I reached at 2 pm for lunch buffet, I was given the table immediately, waited for 15mins for someone to assist me (that was after I called the attendant), I asked him to serve the starter on the table.got only 2 starters after waiting for 10 more mins (plz remember buffet is till 3pm), the taste of non veg was disappointing and so I asked if he could get me some veg starter, which he did after 10pm re mins of wait time only one aloo tiki, the whole thing was so sad I decided to go for ala carte, when I asked the waiter to serve the same, he was like due to COVID restrictions we don’t serve.like hold on! Covid? The whole place was crowded, tables were set with only a hands distance and he says COVID restrictions. Mind blown. The quantity of biriyani was only to serve one (hardly). Such a pathetic exp. I have been to Spice terrace (JW Marriott) and the exp was good, I ll never go to JW kitchen ever in my life.

Had it been from swiggy (my lunch) I could have asked for complete refund

Just an extraordinary experience. Maybe the greatest food and service experience I have had in any 5 star hotel in Bengaluru. I guess only Taj hotels would match up to this.

Global cuisine and great ambience. Loved Prawn and Chicken Dimsum. Merak is also a great evening place. Awesome cocktails.

Amazing staff and ambiance. However their buffet seems to change standards everytime. The quality and favour also changed as per buffet. In my last 3 visits I had a different experience with food. The best time to visit in my opinion is on Friday lunches. In terms of quantity it's Brilliant! There are over 30-40 options right from Salads to dessert! Really full filling!

Unending spread of great food on a fabulous Sunday brunch

Taste: Excellent spread of authentic preparation of multiple cuisine. A delightful gastronomic experience.
The ingredients seems carefully sourced and cooked to perfection.
In most of city buffets the food is prepared in hurry with too much heat, masalas and oil. But here each dish is unique taste like home or beyond.

Service: The table attendants were very cordial and attentive. They cleared plates quickly after asking. There are enough attendants at each buffet table to help guests out. There were 9 live counters Chat, Pasta, Dimsum, Sushi, Appam, Western barbeque, Indian Tandoor, Goan grill and Japanese pan cake. Guest can place order with live counter attendant who will bring the dish to table. There enough helping hands every where.

Crowd: Elite, Rich and Upper middle class. The restaurant was at 80% occupancy still staff managed to attend guests without concerns.

Price: priced at 2773/ head inclusive of taxes. No service charges included in bill. Accepts Cards/UPI.

A very upscale place. Extremely pleasant ambience and courteous service. Had a breakfast buffet and all the dishes were top notch.

Had food at Bo Thai. Must say that the food was extremely bad and was not fresh at all. It looked like it was heated again and was served. Too overpriced and not worth it at all. Not at all recommended.

Honestly, I am not rating on my dining experience. I never got to dine there. I was there to attend another event. Post event, I thought of having my lunch with my family with an intent of trying out for the first time. When I tried to enter the restaurant, a hotel employee at the entrance desk stopped me and enquired why I wanted to go there. I was told that there is no table free and left on my own. But that is not my complaint. I was surprised to see that the employee never bothered to offer me any further information or options within the same hotel. It was just an indifferent attitude which left me with a bad taste. Too bad for a brand like JW Marriott. A person who has come with his family and looking to dine should have been treated a little better. Such experience go a long way in making any hotel a preferred dining or staying choice. On the contrary, I always got a very dignified treatment in Shangri-La. Needless to say, what I would want to do going forward

One of the fine dining restaurant and one of the best restaurant in Bengaluru. Great experience n food was really yumm. I had only vegetarians food n it was really tasty. Dessert was really attractive n yummy. As it was Sunday it was little crowded. Service was good. Wonderful Ambience

One of the best buffet brunches I've ever had. The spread is very wide and covers everything from South Indian to Carribean!

The service and ambience are top notch like you'd expect from a 5 start hotel. The salads are really good. The spring rolls deserve a special mention. Their South Indian dishes are pretty decent too.

I didn't like the North Indian and desserts selection theat much. The place was buzzing on a Saturday afternoon and was very lively. The manager gave us a 15% discount which was neat!

Awesome dining experience. Well maintained restaurant with great buffet options for lunch. The staffs are really prompt and friendly.

The hotel has amazing ambience and infrastructure. Valet parking available.

However, I had 1 issue with the bill. There cannot be a MRP price for the food a restaurant prepares but how can one sell double the MRP price when a product has one? I bought Qua water bottle which has ₹100 as MRP but was billed ₹200. People visiting Marriott won't mind but there should be some ethics.

Making way for a hearty meal is J W Kitchen (J W Marriott Hotel) in Bangalore, this place is synonymous with delicious food that can satiate all food cravings. It is home to some of the most appreciated cuisines. So as to be able to cater to a large number of diners, it occupies a favourable location at Vittal Mallya Road.

Nice classy place! Well behaved staff but the buffet isn't suitable for vegetarians as there are hardly any vegetation options.

Had to wait 20 minutes to get a table for lunch. Had booked in advance for 12.30pm lunch, reached at 12.20pm, waited until 12.50pm to get table allocated as their arrangement was not yet complete though scheduled start time was 12.30pm. Even after getting seated, noone would really respond to you and had to wait another 10 mins just to place the liquor order, which is Ala carte, don't mention time taken to deliver the order.

They had a creamy broccoli which was so good, just couldn't have enough of it.

Rules were nicely followed during the pandamic.

Very neat and clean, but staff seems to be less and evwn though empty tables were there, it took around 10 minutes for the staff to provide us tables and that too were dirty, which they cleaned later on.

Great hospitality and awesome breakfast buffet. Staff are courteous and prompt. Bharath (trainee) was specially courteous and efficient in the face of Sunday rush, thank you!

Ordered the Mutton Briyani which costs you Rs. 975/- per plate, quantity and quality of the food was not good at all

Worst part is the service what ever was mentioned on Menu most of the items were not available and the staff was hesitant to respond to any queries or doubts did not expect such a weird experience from such reputed hotel!

They were least bother to suggest or respond to any request made!

Only JW Kitchen is operational now and all other restaurants are closed funny thing is that they charged 18% GST on Food!

Went here on Valentine's Day. The food wasn't upto standard and the service was not good either. There was a crowd as well.

Absolutely amazing. Loved the food & the Choice too. Music was a bit loud so had to ask them a few times to reduce the volume. But otherwise. Kinda steep on the pockets too. We completely enjoyed. And it was worth the trip. If you’re going, go HUNGRY!

I went to jw through a reservation in dineout. The buffet had a great spread with different cuisines.
The starters were not great. They had 4 starters fruits, paneer, chicken and murton. The pasta live counter and the confit counters looked appealing. My favourite was the farfalle pasta in white sauce and the corn spinach casserole. They have around 12 salads including chicken, beef tenderloin, pork, prawns, squid. Few salads were really good. They also have lot of breads and cheese. There were some indian dishes like sambar paneer curry rasam rice curd pickle Papad. Chinese cuisine had a veg broth and chicken broth. The pumpkin puree soup was extraordinary. I have never had something like that. The chats counter was also good. But the dahi vada was not up to the mark. Finally the desserts counter was something that will fill your stomach at the very sight of it. So many Indian sweets, cakes pastries, gateaux and 4 types of icecreams with many toppings. Desserts counter was heaven and you can appreciate the efforts put into mastering each dessert which is put up there. There is lot of details to it. Overall a good experience and good ambience to click lovely pictures.

On the occasion of client visit, we went for a team lunch with total of 90 folks. The lunch was great. Large variety of foods. Worth visiting the place.

CORPORATE OUTING!
It was team get together and the company paid for it hence I'll reserve my judgements whether it was "worth it" or "value for money" or not.
I loved the paneer starters, liked the chicken ones but won't really recommend the fish ones.
Moving on to main course I helped myself with CHICKEN IN THYME SAUCE with MASHED POTATOES and veggies on the sides. I liked it so much that I helped myself with a second serving as well. The chicken was tender, juicy, soft and melted in mouth like hot knife on butter. Coming to butter, the mashed potatoes were buttery and creamy with no chunks whatsoever.
I loved the LENGCHA and the choco barfi, the chocolate mousse bursted in the mouth, the cheesecake was salty and creamy, but I suggest skip the GAJAR HALWA, it's tough and not good.

The ambience and food was nice. The staffs were awesome.only problem was with the buffet duration.it starts at 12.30 pm and ends at 3.00 pm. It's too short for a buffet service.

Well, our experience was really bad. Buffet lunch was definitely not what was expected. Maybe, it's a bad day for the hotel but food was ok considering the premium pricing that this place boasts of. I had a bad experience with both food and hygiene. It was not good but has had good reviews until we went there.

Too many rules being a star hotel specially when your conducting a corporate event.food is not very spicy and crowd snobbish similar to other star hotels as they cater more to the likes of foreign nationals who are frequent visitors to the hotel, nothing which leaves a lasting impression the mixed fruit punch was good.
Please don't try the drought beer as it not a good choice.

JW kitchen is definitely my favorite for place for lunch in Bangalore. There are many variations of world kitchen. Once you enter the open buffet, you will see Chief Hemsing smiling face and warm welcome. He makes sure you are happy with your plate and you could make him prepare anything for you also. All food here are delicious and so fresh.

Great place for a nice filling buffet, lot of options and good variety of dishes. The staff is cordial and helpful as well.

Good spread of international cuisines. Friendly staff, but Service could have been faster, even though we were having a relaxed weekend dinner.

It was month ending get together of friends. Inspite Of reservations, It was heavily crowded and was allotted the long table near glass. The summer heat of 34^C was behind our chairs & cooling horrible. The starters & buffet spread was bad for vegetarians, so we managed eating more salads and chats. The curd was horrible with pungent smell. Desserts was okay. I don’t recommend this Restaurant for any special occasions. We hosted our post wedding lunch here, my family was so so happy. Great ambience, food and hospitality.

Breakfast service gives me mixed feelings. Self-service buffet is like not existing and this is very confusing for me as European. But when you find out that you can ask for basically anything, then things will start to work out for you. It is of course matter of understanding the local culture.

Given the name associated with it, the restaurant has decent ambience, though it didn't feel like a very good place for dates. We ordered salmon and chicken steak, the price seemed to be on the higher end but that again was kind of expected. It took more than half an hour for the food to get done, it was worth the wait though. The salmon steak was specially really well done.

The service wasn't upto the mark though, the waiter ended up disappearing for about 10 mins after handing over the menu and we had to remind them 2-3 times.

Visited this place for my anniversary lunch. The place is nice with standard sitting arrangements. Nothing fancy. The view and all is average. However they have a huge spread of food choices starting from hummus to sushi to Thai noodles to kebabs. However the best part of the real for me was the starters. The main course was OK. I was bit disappointed with the desserts. Even though they had a huge spread, nothing was good. They had a good Indian sweets collection, but that was also average. I believe you can get better bang for your money at some other places. Overall the service was good, even though they kept forgetting the orders and had to be reminded.
