JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru

I visited the JW Kitchen, Bangalore for lunch. A very disappointing experience to say the least. The service was really bad - had to ask for everything repeatedly. Despite many service staff present in the restaurant, there is hesitancy to take an order or even get the menu. The food was TERRIBLE. The Thai Chilli prawn was stale and stinking. The Watermelon and Feta salad barely had any feta cheese, the watermelon was not even cut (a big chunk was placed on the plate), the Walnut was old and smelly. I had to ask for a bread basket and the bread that we were served was hard and seemed like a couple of days old. I have been to the JW Kitchen several times and I was disappointed to see the deteriorated condition of the service and food.

Came here to have breakfast this morning 24th October. An illmannered lady standing at the entrance of thr hotel looking like a statue wearing a saree, with no expressions. We had to open the doors when the security did not and the lady stood there expressionless without any word or welcome to my elderly parents and rest of the family. Wonder why Marriott has to pay for such useless people! If anyone is monitoring this- we are still at the buffet counter.

Even 3 star hotels have better service and are more hospitable than this JW Mariott. It’s a shame on the reputation on Mariott chain.
1. Restaurant service is extremely poor, chef Sunil made me wait 23 minutes for the smoothie and kept giving me false assurances that it’s on its way, ultimate he got it in my room only after I got late for my meeting.
2. The hotel doesn’t take the advance payment, my company paid via card authorisation and yet I faced harassment wherein they didn’t have the updated signed off authorisation we sent several days ago
3. Hotel Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting automatically
4. Even when the feedback was given to the front office incharge, she informed manager named Karan who further chose not to even call me back for atleast 5 hrs, only when I reminded them, they chose to speak with me and that too by mere sorries.

This hotel service is not that great contrary to the JW Marriott standards. The restaurant service is pathetic. You need to keep asking for things repeatedly. It will be done but need to remind them every 15 minutes. We had booked a table for my son’s birthday and requested a cake. They completely forgot about the cake

Attended a seminar on Karnataka 1Trillion Dollar economy by 2030.
The coffee served was atrocious and basement parking lot stinks.
Not expected from a five star hotel.

Convenient location at the heart of Bengaluru. I enjoyed my stay here so much. All staffs are extremely friendly.

Restaurants are vibrant and serve excellent food. Masala Dosa was my favorite breakfast from the main restaurant! Chef Sunil Singh is often around getting feedbacks. He graciously offered us an impromptu Indian food cooking class - we learned how to cook Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Paratha from scratch! Thank you @Sunil!

Rooms are spacious and mine was overlooking Cubbon Park with a view of overgrown trees. It was monsoon season and enjoyed the rain in my balcony with a cup of coffee. Laundry service was spot on during my stay.

Gym is also facing the Cubbon Park with a sea of tree view. One of the best views that I had from hotel gyms.

Swimming pool is very nice and warm - almost full length (25 metres) with sparkling blue tiles. Perfect for my lap swimming sessions. Outdoor shower and towels available for any guests.

Also enjoyed happy hour at the lounge. Service was great and everyone was friendly.

Best part about the property is the location then comes it’s service and then rooms.
I got a room with Balcony that had really nice city view but the room was not at all comfortable. Dine in was a big issue. No table to place food or ur plates. Except that there is a nice pool along side a bar and restraint. It’s just next to the mall with many good places to eat. If u new to be agali tu or coming for the first time. This could be one of the best places to stay near city center where all the attractions are

Amazing experience. Food choice can be improved but the dishes were really tasty. Weekends are generally crowded

I haven't been to a lot of star hotels, but among the ones I have been, this place is 4/5. Reason is due to bike parking. To void traffic, I reached on my bike and unfortunately there is no one to assist you in parking lot. And the security is least bothered if questioned.

Looks didn't compliment the taste of the food. Specially veg menu in the buffet was rather tasteless. Disappointed.

Worst service given in this hotel. For name only this is 5 star. There are not giving 5 star service. They are not caring the Guest

I reside in Bangalore but I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights due to my house repair work.
We’ve redeemed our points for staying which, we wouldn’t spend it soon.
All staff were absolutely helpful and attentive, the hotel gave us even upgraded room, our room was good, which had a city view, I liked the view very much.
Breakfast was absolutely good and delicious.
We used to order food to our room too, the quantity was substantial so we could even share.
Due to Covid, the pool was closed, there was a nice garden on the ground floor. My daughter used to enjoy watching colorful tiny fish and lotus flowers in the ponds.
Hope I will visit for brunch soon.

Pathetic!

We go to these restaurants to get good experiences and the service was pathetic.
There were more than 2 tables who were not happy with the service and had argument with manager.
And it was disturbing whole atmosphere

Atleast we expected to have better taste with food even that was disappointing and for every dish we had too wait alot.
Since half of the staff was absent it made it even more worse. There were so many mosquitoes and no one was concerned about it
I would never like to visit again
And this not only my review most of them had very bad experience.

1 star is just for the pool view

Was here for a day, the room service was quick. The room was clean, however the bath tub was not well cleaned. We were given good treatment through out our stay.

Visited for an Event. Very well maintained and hygiene food. Great place to hangout with friends and family. Recommended.

I visited the Real Estate Exhibition with a friend. He interacted with a number of agents. We later visited UB City Mall.

I drove 1.5hours to get my hair done at the Spa services because I know this hair dresser is not an employee but an artist. Grace is one of the best in her field (hair and make up). I got the exact shade I wanted in one go and was pampered throughout the process.

I always hav indulged in their vast buffet spread as every dish is simply delicious. One needs to forget the calorie count for the day and just enjoy the tasty food.
Desserts r super yummy.

I stayed with JW Marriott in August 2021, and it was baffling to find that the administration was very relaxed about covid appropriate behaviour. It started at check in where there was no basic temperature checks, lack of sanitizers around reception area where people were being given the same pen and pad for completing their check-in. Secondly, at the restaurant most guests are walking around without a mask most probably due to the lack of any signage asking people to mask up at least around buffet. Seeing this, I decided to skip the complimentary breakfast and decided fo eat outside. I hope the adminstration does bare minimum to ensure safety of its guest

I didn't stay there; rather I went there for a a product launch event with my aunt. But the reason for my review here is for the food I got to eat there- like daaammnn! It was amazing and top notch!

Extremely courteous and helping staff, a very smooth stay, excellent service and an amazing breakfast spread! Staff at the reception was phenomenal with their service and helping nature and Grace at the hair salon was great! A special mention to the housekeeping boys Melesdar and Dominic! Loved my stay!

JW Marriott is very conveniently located, right next to UB City. And not too far away from CBD. We went here for a one night staycation. The check in process was quite simple and fast. Rooms were neat, hygienic and big enough. The view of Cubbon park from the window was so refreshing!

Most of the amenities were closed due to pandemic. It would have been good if they had some game rooms at least. Kids were quite disappointed as they had nothing to do the whole day!

Dinner and breakfast options in JW kitchen were very good. Food was very tasty and there were options for everyone. Kids loved all the dessert and continental options.

Bathroom wasn't that great though. Not to the level expected of a star hotel. It was surprising that there wasn't a health faucet! Shower was not functioning properly and water wasn't coming at a good pressure. Towels were decent.

Overall, it's a good experience.

I would tell it's just overrated, cause the taste is kind of good but I don't feel it's worth the cost (just my personal view on it).

While the place is amazing but hospitality was really poor.
In past, since I found it great all the time, in pandemic I decided to go but it was great disappointment.

Compared to the JW Marriott standards 10 years ago in Juhu Mumbai, This place is far low. The Property has outsourced the outdoor restaurant to others hence during new year brunch, rather playing a live band or some lounge music.that restaurant was playing DJ music that was very noisy and we couldnt enjoy our time. We have always been visiting for brunch.but now we visit Sangrila after this DJ music incident.shall never visit this place again until JW Marriott manages and controls every outlet.

A 5star hotel with good ambience, rooms, bar, kitchen, restaurant, gym, pool, ball rooms, suites with other amenities.

JW Marriott is one of the most extravagant and luxurious hotels in Bengaluru. I'd been here for a family event and I must say, the event was well organised and the food was good but not great{below my expectations}. The place, standing in the heart of Bengaluru{stands besides UB City} can easily be located and accessed. The staff was very friendly, courteous and caters to all of your needs. There are several business suites and a ball room making it a good location for hosting business meetings and interviews. The hotel is very well-maintained and the interiors are beautiful. There is valet-parking, an exclusive kitchen{called JW Kitchen}, a swimming pool, a gym and a bar{on the second floor}. All of these positives come with a price and this price hits you hard but personally, I feel that this is one of the best hotels that I have visited so far and would highly recommend it.

Amazing service, an epitome of true world class service, organizations in India should learn how to treat and value customers, the lights went out for barely 5 minutes and next day I receive an email apologising for the same and when I went back to my room the next evening I had personal hand written note card from the management apologising and serving me fresh cakes and pastries what is important is I think they really meant it and felt sorry for what wasn't an inconvenience but such is the value they give for their guests, India Inc should deliver such service. Can't wait to go back to JW Marriott Bengaluru

Good spread of choices across multiple cuisines. Service can be a faster, even though we were having a very relaxed weekend dinner.

The standard of the restaurant and the quality of food at the hotel has fallen dramatically. I used to be a regular here, but I won't be visiting this place anytime soon, maybe never again.

Next to the Main Road, clearly visible from the road. The rooms are spacious and clean and the service is excellent.

I had a year end party there n it's my second year end party I was spent time there with my colleague's such a nice place also food was very nice totally it's worthy i suggest people who can plan to celebrate there parties this is right place

Went to the terrace restaurant for dinner. The food was very tasty. The staff was very good, well behaved and courteous. Only gripe is that it was a bit on expensive side and the menu selections were limited.

Had spa therapy, which was wonderful experience. Add on sauna and steam was great
But in gym apples and bananas What they provided was rotten already.

One of the best dinner I had. Fortunately it was a Thanksgiving buffet when I went. Highly recommend
