It's a small farm owned by an individual. We stayed in a deluxe 2 room with a price of 3,000rs per person per night initially planned for two nights. The average distance for an attraction is 20KM and there are no cabs or autos available to book yourselves. Thanks to the staff here who booked us a cab but we felt it was really expensive. Rooms were really good!

Having said that, I would rather stay in a place where it's closer to the attractions rather than paying hefty fee for transportation. Also, we felt 3,000 per night per person is totally unworthy. Suggest staying at resorts nearby Kabini river.

The way to reach this farm stay is really pathetic. Too many pothholes. It took almost 45 mins.for 10 kms.
The farm is full of coconut trees but same time it's scary also. There is no boundaries as it is farm. And rooms were not cleaned. Food tables were not clean, no phone, no TV inside the room. Everywhere they have displayed a board which says they are not responsible for any robbery or anything else. It's really desertrd place. Place was stinking with a local alcohol. We felt very uncomfortable. We booked in advance. However we reached there and then we had to find another place to stay. I would not suggest these place for a family.

Located inside a pepper farm and about 15km from the Kakanakote Safari Center, this farm stay offers great value for money and a great disconnect from the hubbub of urban life.

The access road from the gate towards the tents is bumpy, wide enough for just one car and something out of a horror movie (at night!). There are 5 well made tents with 2 king size beds in each tent and a well maintained bathroom as well. Each tent has a table and 4 chairs outside and a fan and cooler inside. Although they won't be required at nights when it becomes cold. Early mornings at this farm will have fog in every direction and looks beautiful!

There is a fireplace for those night bonfires, which are generally accompanied by singing and dancing. There is also a table tennis table and a trampoline. One part of the farm is bordered by a water body.

For 2,500 per person per night, the Farm stay offers free breakfast, evening tea and dinner. Lunch can be ordered a la carte and it is pocket friendly. Food is very tasty with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options for dinner. Evening tea is accompanied by snacks. Breakfast is a mix of traditional South Indian breakfast and fresh fruits.
PS - Ask them to prepare lassi for you, it is amazing (and also chargeable).

The staff are some of the sweetest people you'll meet and they'll accommodate your every request.

It's a secluded spot for people seeking to disconnect from hectic urban life. There is an entrance to Nagarhole national park, which is 20 minutes drive away (not the main gate). Nights in this farm will be an enchanting experience. If the minor discomforts are addressed by host, Kabini Farm Stay could be an excellent weekend getaway destination! You can have fun if you travel in small groups (5-6).

Quiet place with lot of greenery around.decent place, good for family visits. Food is good.staff is also very polite and helpful!

Has other amenities like carrom, chess, fire place though we didn't try
Night walks we took within premises as short breaks is very memorable
Rooms and tent houses are good and cosy

It is an ok place. It's around 19 km from kabini wild life safari center. The last 10 km road is too bad. Place is ok for family. For bag packers it's perfect. Staff is friendly and food is ok.

Rooms were stinking, no refreshner provided

Approach roads were very very bad.

Foods very very costly. There are some tents and home which looks good. They could arrange some games so kids could njoy. For the budget range people this will work.

Tent room are very dirty its horrible to stay here for the price they are charging its not at all worth it. There is no view, you cant sit out of your room because of mosquitoes and inside room is very dirty.
Will not recommend anyone to go this place

We stayed at Kabini Farmstay for a night!
The food was simple and delicious and it was more like home cooked food!
Stay in tent was peace with no compromise on the facilities inside!
Hosts Mr Ashwin and Ramu took good care of us and we’re available always!
Overall a budget friendly homestay with basic food options in a scenic location for those like wildlife photographers or regular visitors to Kabini!

If you are looking for an escape to the nature and far away from city and the chaos, this is a must visit place. Kabini is an untouched beauty of Karnataka. Located just between Karnataka and Kerala border.
About the Farm Stay, I must say it was one of my best experience as a traveller. The place is very simple and will suit all your basic needs in a very budget friendly way. The food, the ambience and the staff are just amazing here. They are very polite and take care of your every need.
This is not a luxury stay so don't expect you to be treated like a royalty
It has tent stay and room stay included. They can also accommodate large groups with prior intimation. We stayed in a tent and I don't regret the decision. It was just amazing. Gives you a tent experience with homelike feeling. Has a cooler (not that we need it in this place). Electricity supply. Attached bathroom and toilet.
Please carry your toothpaste and soap, shampoo and toiletries with you.

This is the best place to stay around HD Kote or Kabini.

Ashwin - you are a star! You just are so accommodative and so are all the staff. I dont know for what you would say no: D You say yes to all the requests we made.

The rooms are really awesome and so is the FOOD. Special mention to Bajji and the Pulav you made. Just could not stop eating! Yummy tasting food.

The place is pretty close by to all the places around Kabini and Ashwin, you were knowledgeable to guide us. Even when there are so many guests you still were responding to our questions with at most patience!

I must tell you that I met so many people in our Safari who knew you by your name and they were also having the same feeling that Ashwin is awesome guy and he is knowledged about the area too.

Dont know how people can give anything less than 5 stars to your Kabini farm stay.

We stayed in the tented accomodation, it was nicely comfortable stay, the food is simple and tasty, the resort personal Mr. Ramu took care of our needs and is a very humble and nice person. In Kabini this place is worth staying compared to the highly priced other resorts, which i feel is not worth going to, since all want to go for the safari basically to sight a Tiger or Leopard. I feel there maybe a nexus by these expensive resorts to prevent economical and decent resorts from coming up, even "JLR" of kabini is the most expensive among all JLR resorts.
Please bring this to the notice of the concerned authorities so as to make the kabini stay for all more affordable.

Nice place. Good home cooked food. The rooms was neat and it has all the outdoor activities like cycling and sports area.
