Kallina Mantapa / ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಂಟಪ

One of the craziest trek, this is the last point where water is available for drinking in rest of the trek journey.difficulty level is hard. People without any trek experience please Never attempt it.

This is almost half the way from Bhattara Mane to Kumara Parvatha peak. You can take a very brief break and continue.

First check point or pit stop during the trek to kumara parvata. You get a nice view and good place to click pictures and enjoy the nature.

You can find a good view at kall mandapa.
If you wanna skip kall mantapa there is another shortcut route.
Nice place to take a short break.

It was my first trek experience. Although tough terrain to navigate through for newbies, it is one of a kind experience. Met a lot of interesting folks along the way.
One word to summarise, Awesome.

Must stop! Perfect place to take rest for a while. The stream water side by Mantapa in rainy season is so pure and has natural taste!

This place indicates the half the trail, from bhatra mane to the peak. Always ideal to trek immediate after monsoon, never plan after December. I had been on January both the times, it's a very exhausting, haunting to trek the trail with sun literally pinning you down, even the lumpsum water you carry won't matter.
Kallina Mantapa seems to be a remains of an old structure, still standing tall and strong. There is a stream of water that starts near by, do search for it fill your bottles, freshen up you will be boosted again for the remaining part.
