Kamat Cafe Veg Restaurant -Gadag Road

Very bad ambience. The interiors are dingy.
Vadas were prepared with stale batter.
Dosas were burned and black.

Sad to see the state in which this beautiful cafe is. Earlier would be bustling with customers from India as well as abroad. Nowadays the condition is not good. Food is average. I hope it's a transitional phase due to COVID and pray that they improve.

Food quality was ok. Service is also ok but not excellent. The atmosphere has reduced a lot in comparison with the last few years.

Food Is so expensive comparing to other restaurant, and whatever for that Tax amount we can take one more snacks for out side.

We ordered for dosa which was like chapati n idli not hot.
Not preferable

We stopped here for lunch Anand had their typical meals. No complaints about the food and the variety, always a safe bet and a trusted chain of hotels.
Staff are super courteous, Restaurant is very poorly maintained though and the restroom is really really bad, with water dripping from the roof and toilet door not locking with extremely slippery floors. If the management could do something about it, it’d be great.

Very unclean and flies all over the place.
Coffee and tea were nothing but sugar syrups.
Did not expect this from a Kamat restaurant.
