We visited today but the quality of food is not good, earlier it was good, service and staff behavior is also worst they gave fruit salad were all fruits were spoiled, and even after complaining non of the hotel staff or management bother to replace that, they just ignored us, after eating such food my stomach was upset and I had to get a treatment, so pls don't go to this restaurant
Plentiful parking for cars. Vegetarian menu. Thali is available during specific hours only. South Indian snacks are available throughout. Simple wholesome food rather mediocre but served fresh and hot.
One of the best restaurant along the Bangalore - Mysore highway. The number of visitors to this place has dropped considerably because of the new expressway. The quality of food and service still remains amazing and Jolada roti is a must have item here.
The Special Jolada Rotti Meals was very good, for a person with good appetite is best. The food is made right there and serve hot. Worth the money. Make sure to apply mosquito repellent as open garden is full of bites
Saturday, lunch, 1: 30pm. Had to wait, 20min, but you will melt in the softness of Johar roti and butter.their signature brinjal dish was not less tastier.
Good old only North Karnataka restaurant on Mysuru - Bengaluru road. Nice delicacies. Prices expensive. Hotel is big with outdoor seating. Good for family and kids. Under new management is being replenished. Limited parking inside. Now cards are not accepted. UPI accepted.
It is a decent Pit stop if you are bangalore-mysore highway. Food quality id ok but very expensive. The place has become more commercial and lost its tradition.
Must have food here for all city folks.reasons: authentic, local Vegetables and dairy. Staffs are having enthusiasm in their work! We had North Karnataka Special Meals, it was delicious.
Extremely insensitive staff a d attitude. They served stale chutney with Idly and Dosa. The Manager was aggressive and rude. I have had some pleasant experiences in the past. However the standard has come down.
The food and coffee are excellent, from the house of Kamat Yatri Nivas. Their own brand packaged foods (Dharwad peda etc) are available. The ladies toilets used to be cleaner - standard has come down.
Late in service. But bill comes very fast, before u start finish the food. Be careful while taking the change back, they may skip it, while u get Tierd waiting for the change
Old restaurant which has passed its prime. Food is not up to the mark. No value for money. Smells like old marriage service is pretty bad. There are other restaurants in the near visinity where you get better vegetarian food
Such amazing food here especially the Lunch. Have been visiting this place over the last soo many years. The staff are soo humble and courteous. The ambiance is great as well. Great stopover place for anyone travelling from Bengaluru to Mysuru.
This was the third time I went here and I'm not sure whether it's the palce where we end up sitting or the place, the quality and the taste for the food is getting deprecated everytime.
The jalebi available was really good though.
I don't think I would be going there or recommending it to anyone anymore.
Place is pretty good for a hiking trip with friends not too steep and quite decent in terms of height and all. Good views all around from a lot of areas over the area and ambience is also pretty good.
Great vegetarian food. The special thali is really good. Service not too great but the food makes it worth it. Limited options for lunch and whatever we ate was excellent.
Best combo foods this is the best full unlimited north Karnataka meal I had.fully worth for 195.roti with butter and leaves curry is best.they give fresh hard curd and buttermilk
It's an awesome experience dining here. The food is very simple and delicious. I experienced north Karnataka all you can eat food. It was served in traditional banan leaf with atmost hospitality. Loved the taste of every item and finally the buttermilk. There is a little bit of wait but it's worth it. Parking can be challenging at times due to limited parking inside, but you can park outside which is also a safe option. Value for money overall.
Please was good, pleasant experience, but now they had changed their menu, i felt like they are providing verity on special meal.earlier there was lot of verity but not now.
Stopped for a traditional lunch here - and was not disappointed at all! We had the unlimited special and despite stuffing myself, I didn't really feel uncomfortable later. Great food! Awesome service!
Love this stop for a lovely breakfast of hot idlies, vadas and masala dosa and not to forget the freshly brewed coffee in the traditional steel tumbler. The place is idyllic and has not changed in the last 20+ years, same greenery and pleasurably rustic, the serving is a little laid back; if you are ordering dosa do that first, takes a while longer than the city upharas, and then decide for the rest of the eateries. The toilets are ok clean and cleaning staff regularly cleans with lot of water, some commodes have no seat-covers. Management must provide contactless soap dispensers. It's a great place for a break before one resumes the onward journey.
A good place for those who are travelling to fill their stomach. This is big and beautiful. We had variety of South Indian breakfast we loved them all. We tried Jelebi it was surprisingly good. Good atmosphere covered with lots of greenery. Further it has ample space for parking. Highly recommend.
Alll these stars m giving r for the ambience. It absolutely outstands the taste. We ordered basic idli vade, masale dose, Maddur vade, and coffee. I don't know if we were spell bound with the ambience hence couldn't taste the deliciousness, but it wasn't lingering memory for sure.
Authentic Karnataka food. Many items available that you don't normally get Commonly in other restaurants. A must stop over on your drive back to Bangalore.
The restaurant has different look and Feel. Could feel like we're in a village house. The quality of the food is also very nice, decent pricing. The place could be hard to notice from the higbway, but it still attracts a lot of people.do visit with your family and friends.
If you searching for good south Indian food on highway between Bangalore and Ramnagar, then this could be one. The special north Karnataka meals will be a definite treat here.
Must visit hotel on Mysore road, tasty delicious food. The restaurant is set in old age stone structure, with great ambiance. Parking is difficult on weekends and the wait is a n average 45min to 1 hour, but the food is worth the wait. The Kadbu idli is very tasty, all food items are tasty, but very special is the Jolada rotti/ Jowar Bakri meal with many side dishes. Shavige with payasa is another dish worth eating. The sweet shop has many varieties but the best among them is the Dink/ Dry fruits laddu.
