I visited this place with my sister, not knowing what to expect. To my surprise, they had 'khatias' as seating, and we actually found it quite comfortable. We placed our order, and I must say, the service was both nice and speedy. As for the food, it was good, though not mind-blowing. I've had better food at similar or even lower prices elsewhere. It did feel a little overpriced, but the ambiance and the unique seating more than made up for it.it was quite enjoyable.
I was even tempted to take a nap after such a hearty meal since they had khatias and pillows. Who knows, maybe they offer that service too!
If you're looking for something unique, don't mind spending a bit, and enjoy good food, it's worth giving it a shot.
Not satisfied with the service. Very much disappointed. Least bothered to take care of customers. This message is to direct to owner of the restaurant. If it continues the same service, it is loss of customers.
Excellent place to have a North Indian food (Punjabi). After trying many North indian food loved the food and the taste of this branch of Kapoor's cafe
I don't know how this restaurant got 4 rating. PPL are rating just the vibe of this restaurant or are they considering food too Me and my friends (total 7) went with excitement came out with disappointment. Except starters, I feel most of the main courses and rice was not at all Good. Me and my one of my frnds health become weak after eating here. Kapoor Cafe has Lots of good branches over BLR but don't know this branch disappointed us.
Good atmosphere, enough parking on road side. Food was average, masala papad was too salty, Panner pakoda has no salt. Aloo pyaz Parota was good, mix parota was ok ok. Service is slow.
Parathas r great. Food tastes good.matar paratha.is good Paneer is okay Lassi is superb Ambience is lovely in evening n for lunch too. Seating arrangement is dhaba style with khaat (the typical bed) and maslan
The combo thali is not worth the price. The service wasn’t quick enough. The food also wasn’t as expected. The pan is very costly. Overall not worth the price.
Their items are too oily (especially the sabjis) and they give a lot on the plate compared to the number of Parathas/bread ordered. Couldn't digest anything really. The Lassi was great though. It's not like their food is that great either. (I mean oil + butter makes things extra tasty but no one wants cholesterol). They just have a lot of categories in their menu so it probably makes it more appealing. Have no idea what the big deal is about this place except for a few items so I guess it's just overrated.
Vegetarian Punjabi Cuisine at its best Taste was very nice Really enjoyed the food Ambience is kind of dhabba type. Service was fast. Staff was courteous and attentive. Saw several North Indian families enjoying the food here. Moderate prices
Absolutely fantastic, rich food that you want to have on occasions. The channa batura, bedhmi puri and the pakoras are outstanding. It's not crowded or empty on a weekday lunch, indicates that food is fresh and good. It is open so makes you feel better in these times. Go there for authentic Punjabi food and you will not be disappointed, ambiance hmm. Music hmm.
The food is absolutely delicious and true to the Punjabi palate. The Patiala lassi and Pindi Chhole are a must try. There is also a good variety of Jain food available.
Love Kapoor's cafe for the ambience but thankfully it doesn't just stop there, the food is really good too. The owner/manager is really sweet and courteous. Have been to this multiple times and that hasn't changed.
We order in dine out very frequently from here, really love it.
The prices are on the higher side but you can order half plate or half parcel as well. You custom asks for food without onion/garlic, so plus for families who want Jain food.
Food was good but service was very bad, the service guy didn't even arrange the table basic needs and tissue stands, plates.nothing was in order. We had to call him again and again and ask for plates, spoons, water, and even after asking so many times he didn't put tissue stand on the table. I waited for half hour but still I was not provided coat seets. I got served on table, which spoiled my mood to an extent. And also it was not clean.
Edit: changing 4/5 to 2/5 for negligence. Got the remainder of our meal parceled, requested the server for extra chutney, not only did he not pack the extra, he didn't even pack the things left on the plate. Sabzi wasn't packed either. Disappointing!
We came back to Kapoor's after maybe 4 years and everything still felt pretty muchh the same, same good food, same vibe! We ordered their assorted pakora platter with chhaas and dry fruit lassi. The lassi is delicious and thick, could use just a pinch of salt tho. The assorted platter is good, everything tasted amazing except the veg seekh kebab which I personally, didn't like. We then had their paneer bhature with pindi chole, chole kulche and gobhi pyaaz paratha. The kulche were beautiful, soft and delicious, topped with a good generous dollop of butter- DELICIOUS. The bhature were also delicious, so soft and generously filled with paneer. The gobhi pyaaz was my least favorite, tasted not so great but their portion sizes are amazing. Overall, good experience!
Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Value for money: 4/5
I would have liked to give this place a 4star but for the exceptionally bad attitude of the service personnel. There was some food left over so we asked the service personnel to pack the leftover over and add some extra chutney, if so available. The guy did not give the chutney and on the other hand did not pack a leftover curry. We realised the missing article once we opened the package at home. This is totally unacceptable. The issue is not about the cost involved but the overall mindset of the service personnel. Just too bad.
Best Punjabi Food I have had in Bangalore for quite some time now. Their Aloo Parantha and Kadhi Meal was awesome. Must visit place if ur a Punjabi Food lover
The food was amazing, very good quantity for the price. Extremely filling. The ambience was wonderful, and the staff was also very nice with very good service. Highly recommend to visit
North Indians looking for a good veg meal this is a place u must visit. With proper khatt sitting giving it a dhaba look attracts the most crowd with Emmense amount of food you are gonna love it. Lassi is must try you are gonna love it. Thali is must try cause with that amount you are gonna be fill till neck. Enjoy the place
A very chic, spacious, ventilated rooftop place. Good, tasty food. Staff courteous. No parking facility, so you will have to park your cars in one of the streets behind the main road.
Everything from food to service to staff os brilliant, owner is a gem of a person. Only negative: parking, but I think you can have a good walk after a sumptuous meal.
Food was tasty.worth visiting place with family and friends. Hospitality could have been better We had to call and wait for long time for each service.
The food is good. I loved lassi and parrota here. Other things are quite normal. You can find better options outside. One starter n one parrota mostly sufficient for two to three people. ️
Excellent ambience. During on need and having the food. I think it is like poor panjabi style. It's a different experience for people who wanted to spent some awesome time in the evening. Did taste is good. Only problem is delivery of goods after the order is delayed
Very expensive, no unlimited food on thali. They charge too high for 2 roti with 7 curries, one sweet n 2 Lassi. Quantity is less n charge more. Delayed service.
