It was amazing to walk there, i saw the peacock closely here, there is a boat ride, i drove the paddled boat and enjoyed riding self. There are some fewer birds varity also and a children's park. Worth to visit here the vehicle parking charges are more here.restrooms are there in between

It is an awesome place to visit with children and for couples too. The boating is so nice. And the children's park makes it worth it to spend some time with the kids and zoo and birds very beautiful to see. Calm nature and eco friendly place.

The boating could've been better. Speed boating or rafting would've been much better than the slow boating which is kind of boring. Nothing much to do

Has always been a beautiful weekend (or any day) getaway. There is a diversion towards the Zoo too which is convenient. A little crowded on the weekend, nonetheless a must see for tourist or locals

Boating is costlier than expected 60 rs for 10 minutes for a person and the water is not so good or clean other thing to mention is very good place to have a good 2 hrs of leisure time with family.

Nice n cool place to spend couple of hours. Added advantage is the boating. Worthwhile to go around and understand the plants, variety of flowers etc.

Place is cool, boat ride is the main attraction. Lotus in the middle of the lake. Many birds are there and you can enjoy the peacock dance without a miss. Entry fee is 60/person and the fee for boating is seperate.

Have an entrance to the zoo via this park, has enormous birds from different countries, never know how time flies, has a ticket for entrance, parking, and extra fee if you carrying a camera. Boating isn't allowed during the rainy season. Lokesh has several numbers of services in here and he looks after about food and is very friendly to reach out for any questions we have regarding birds.

Rather well maintained and clean. Aviary was not the best but plenty of peacocks were roaming free. The lookout was pretty and offered amazing views. My only gripe was that it was a "lover's paradise". More like a romance location than a family park.

Calm and cool places to visit. Children's park is available. Bird watching tower is there. Peacock, swan, and few birds are cool to watch. Boating was not available currently. Need to walk more. Food court inside is not available. Cycle facility is there. Due to weekend curfew in Mysore it's closed. Every Tuesday it will be closed always.

One of few clean lung spaces of Mysuru, Karanji premises are a walker/jogger/cyclist's delight. The greenery + variety of it is mind-boggling. The bird park is a treat with peacocks preening away, do ensure you keep a safe distance from them. The children's play area keeps the lil' ones engaged. Sanitization is in place. Social distance ain't an issue even with weekend crowd. The lake maintenance is pathetic, needs plenty of work

Amazing place for first time visitors with a bird sanctuary mostly consisting of peacocks which is very scenic to watch. For walkers it's the go to place if they can afford the entry fee every day.

Well it's a beautiful place for all and for couples it's like a heaven. Fully romantic place is this.
It has a very large area, and consist of various kinds of flowers. Inside this, you can kind a small Bird Aviary where I'm sure by looking to the peacock you will definitely love this place. You can boat here but nowadays due to COVID, boating isn't allowed. There's a bird's view was also there, standing at the point you can feel the fresh air and view lush green lake.
Overall, it's an amazing place and the ticket cost is Rs. 40 for adult, and you must visit this lake once if you are planning to go to Mysuru.

Parking fees may vary from 20 to 40.
The place is beautiful with many kinds of birds, plants and trees with their respective nomenclature. You can go boating, 90rs per head for 30 min, you'll be able to see the heart of the nature only when you go for boating, of course you'll understand when you visit there. It's a popular place for couples. Have a good time there!

It's just awesome place. I loved? Peacock over there.actually ots made for couple as I have seen there only couples will be seen everywhere the most.and we can explore so many new medicine plants as well. And even bearing is also there good place I loved it

Amazing place if you like birds especially peacock. Peacocks come close to you and give a show. It is almost as if these peacocks are trained. But they are used to people visiting them so they have become friendly. Well maintained park and it offers bicycle rides too inside the park. Boating was closed due to covid 19, but it's a must visit place for nature lovers.

Nice place for Birding and walking. This place is open for morning walks for a very nominal fee. But lake needs to be maintained well.

As the name says variety of birds can be spotted here. Well trained guide will take you on boating (paid service) and tell you about those birds. Century is situated on the bank of river Cauvery. Lots of crocodile can also be spotted. Peaceful natural place to enjoy.

Lot of development work going on, it is not the same 2010 karanji lake, now there is no water, no birds, no refreshment. There is nothing to do here

Lovely little place for a slow afternoon. Visit for a long stroll through verdant gardens, or hire a bicycle for a breezier turnaround. Enjoy boating on the Karanji lake, and please don't forget to get your binoculars - this is a bird watcher's paradise!

The entry/boating fees are nominal at 30 per head (adults). And there are ample amenities like drinking water, restrooms, children's play area, and a watch tower.

There's an aviary too, but due to Covid it was closed when we visited in Jan, 2021. I remember being inside the aviary more than a decade ago when it was smaller. This one is newer and larger; perhaps another time.
