And old school place in Rajajinagara that doubles up as a sweet shop and a place with some thindi options as well. I visited around 11am and they were out of all thindi items, even kaapi! Tells you they're quite popular ;)
So we settled for kajjaya, avarebele mixture, mini tirupati laddoo and onion pakkoda (the highlight for me:). They also have a wide assortment of sweets and savouries. Good place to check out.

Ond of the oldest hotels in Rajajinagar, food is good and they sell good snacks items & sweets.

Nowadays the attitude of the management and team has changed a lot and observed no respect given to customers. I have stopped visiting this place. Taste of the food is good. No change in that. Have been going here since 5-6 years. Bele bath is must try. Apart from this regular items like Idle, vada, vangi bath, kara bath like items are available.

As usual TASTE is Fantastic.
Quality is being maintained for decades. Now that Kitchen is modernized with latest idli steaming machine, service is very FAST.

The Nostalgic place in Rajajinagar, You will get the softest idli which is made of Rice Batter not Rice Rava

Here the idli sambar is very special they add Soppu to Sambar which adds nice taste to idli …

The Neer Chutney is very unique in taste gets soaked to idli well

Next is Vangi Kharabath …Not only like other Darshinis …It’s super pluffy and Yummy

After 10.00 am, They open their sweet shop is same premises. You will get our very old traditionally made kara items like Mixture, Kara Boondi, Kara Sev etc

The taste has gone and now it's serving like any regular hotel. Earlier the sambar had greens mixed into it now it's just lost that taste. Even the rice items are tasting very bland. Its missing the mother's touch.

Must visit them in the morning for breakfast (7AM-10AM only). I must say Khara bath is the show-stopper.

Some amazing true Karnataka flavors, their snacks, ready mixes, pickles and condiments are superb.

Good experience. We tried Idli and Vada. Idli was good whereas Vada was cold and average. The benne muruku which was prepared around 8 30 was great in taste even though the price was little on the higher side!

My wife purchased sambar powder & bisibele bath powder.

I saw this in u tube I found items seems to be good and fresh rate is little high.i purchased some including laddu items good.

Mysorepaka both hard and soft type are very good. Many other sweets like Jalebi, Jangir, Chandrakala are prepared daily. You have many choices in Kara items like congress groundnut in two flavors and other savories and mixtures. Reasonably priced.

The taste is little diminishing from where it was during a decade ago.nonetheless it is still a great choice for breakfast for locals. With respect to snacks and sweets, it is still a great choice. Prices are little overpriced.

Karigiri Sweets is a sweets and savouries shop that is more than 25 years old. Thier preparations among savouries are about 30 in number and sweets of different varieties about 10 to 15. Their preparations are if good quality both in sweets and savouries. Karigiri Sweets is famous for their seasonal sweets called " Holige" in Kannada and " Puran Poli" in Marathi. These are made on special occasions like Holi, Ugadi etc. On these occasions one needs to book the quantity in advance. Their staff as well as the owners are very polite.

Nice place to Shop quality sweets & savouries at very reasonable price. Service and Response level is very good. During morning hours only items like Idly, Bisibele bath, vada etc are prepared and served. Quality is excellent. A long standing place well known in the Rajajinagar area.

They definitely use chemicals in their breakfast menuto get the taste. STRONGLY ADVICE not to go here for breakfast as these chemicals causes CANCER.

Decent place for a morning breakfast. You get limited items to eat. No dosa items here only idly, Vada, ricebath, kharabath only.

Karigiri serves breakfast only till 10.30 - 11 AM. After that it's a sweet shop for the rest of the day. They make home style idli vada sambar. The food here feels healthy and wholesome. Every person i have taken here likes this the food. On Thursdays they make soppu sampar and that's the party piece of this place.

One of the oldest in rajajinagar. Spongy idlies, crispy vadas and the best sambar or chutney you can get with it. Even the other items on the menu are great. Just the right ome for a good typical south indian Breakfast.
