They start giving token at around 10.30. If you're amongst the first ones, you'll be done with it quickly. Otherwise it takes approximately 3-4 hrs. Meanwhile you can have lunch and come. Overall, A smooth experience.
Kind and responsive fast, work gets done in 2-3hts depending on the crowd, The office is located in 2nd floor of the building, For permanent registration: Fill the application form available at the reception counter, attach the necessary documents and submit it to the reception. You will be assigned a token based on first come first serve order, the online appointment time is just for the sake of it, your token number doesn't correspond with the online appointment timings, since the crowd comes exactly at 10: 30 irrespective of their appointment time, Based on token you will be called and biometric will be captured, after waiting certificate and smart card will be issued to everyone present in morning session batch, So even if you reach early at 10: 30, the time u receive your certificate depends on the crowd, since they distribute the certificate together. Washroom and waiting area is present. Lift available No restuarants nearby. Only scope of improvement is if they adhere to online appointment timings and give token accordingly
This has to be the most corrupt Medical Council of the whole Country! Here, Re-Registration of Medical Registration Certificate is IMPOSSIBLE! In other states, it is easily possible, because Medical Councils of all or most states of India are affiliated with Omnicuris, a Website/App which provides Credit Points after successfully completing CMEs online or on the App. 30 Credit Points for Renewal of Certificate at many Medical Councils. Could be finished easily in about 4 to 5 Weeks. But the Goons of this Medical Council want Doctors to attend ONLY Offline CMEs, earn Credit Hours through those Offline CMEs, get those CMEs validated through CME Observer Feedback Form, CME Accreditation Application form, CME Certificates of attended offline CMEs and more! Credit Hours of 6 hours are sufficient? Where to attend? ! WHY NOT ONLINE? ! Why does Karnataka always behave differently, when compared to other States? YOU ARE NO SPECIAL! Attending these offline CMEs is impossible for those Doctors who live/work abroad and in other states! Then again, 2000 Rupees for NOC, more for Re-Registation! Why? Is this KMC's way of earning Blackmoney in a legal way? SHAMEFUL! I spoke with this person/Officer in KMC, with Name of Rajendar, who advised to attend only offline CMEs for Re-Registration of my Certificate and gather Credit Hours. Omnicuris is also unable to help in this Issue! Helpless! Sadly nothing can be done! India is too corrupt! Instead of studying in Bangalore, I should probably have done my MBBS in Philippines or in China.
Best medical council and best government office in Karnataka. I had been there for my wife's KMC registration on 21/01/2023 and my work is completed on the same day itself. All the staffs are very cooperative and if you have all documents with you, your work will be done within the same day itself.
Very bad place. Nobody cares neither inside the building nor outside the building. There is no parking for the building. The security outside by name Rinku, from Bihar is the most useless fellow. He just doesn’t care. Useless govt offices.
As a doctor I am ashamed that such an important institution has only ONE contact number, and that number is INVALID. Extraordinary. Zero response from the concerned departments, zero solving of any open tickets raised, absolute lethargy and a lack of a sense of good work.
1. Punctuality- the office hour starts exactly at 10.30.2. Any queries- the staffs are there to help with tonnes of smile. 3. Just reach here with proper documents, they will take care of the remaining and guide you through the process and payment. Thank you for your service.
Very systematic, clear and quick. Especially after seeing the state of offices like DME & RGUHS, this is like a corporate office. Got my registration done within an hour during peak season. Special thanks to the receptionist.
Mostly available over phone. Give clear instructions about the process of Permanent registration. The place is quite well constructed with lots of place to sit, and quite clean. The process of permanent registration happens on the 2nd floor and the employees are quite clear with their instructions. This work gets done within a day, which is good. Only issue is, sometimes, the indian bank on the ground floor has a server that crashes for some significant time. So be prepared for that. Otherwise, quite unlike a typical government office I guess. The nearest hotel, Bloomrooms at city centre, is quite good and a moderately priced for a hotel at such a location.
Very very efficient service. Very good response from all the staff. Appreciate the help and getting the work done quick as I had my little one waiting at home. Special thanks to Staff Manjula for her kind gesture.
I am living outside of India. I want to apply for good standing certificate as my old one is expired. But i am unable to access kmc website, phone number and have not got any reply from the email ID as well. No one to help me. Please if someone sees this message. Guide me of how I can apply for the certificate from here. I will pay the charges.
Mr. Pramod was very helpful and professional in assisting to issue a Letter of good standing within 1 day of the request. Karnataka Medical Council is a boon to the community of Doctors.
Mr Raghavendra working here is truly a godsend. It is always a delight working with him from verification of KMC registration a few years back to requesting good standing certificate, answers phone on the spot and guides you patiently like a saint on online step by step as I try on the screen, very patiently without getting upset or angry. God bless you abundantly
I have been to many States medical councils, but i must say, KARNATAKA MEDICAL COUNCIL is the best at its work. Staff are super soft, helping. Mr Shyam patil and his female colleague in counter were very helpful and explained in details regarding documents. It opens @10: 30am. If you come before 12pm and submit ur documents, ur work will be done by 2pm. If you submit after 12-1pm, u will get your documents by 4-4: 30pm. Super fast same day work. Spaces seating area. Well cleaned too. Inside staffs are great. Thanks to registerar for speedy work.
Very professional and helpful staff. Very smooth work. Metrics and payments. Bank of India is just there for challan payments. But other payments are to be done online (UPI is the best thing to happen) Extremely grateful.
Extremely professional staff. Be it registration, NOC or anything for that matter, they have an immediate solution. Nothing is kept pending for the next day.
Unfortunately every medical graduate in Karnataka has to go through this painful one day in KMC to register their degrees. Have done it three times in past 15 years and I can say, they show no improvement in their public relations. I will accept that with all the proper documents your work will be done on that particular day but the staff try to make your experience with them as bad as possible. Not all the staff but a few people spoil the reputation of the entire office, one must consider lucky that day if you have not been shouted upon, argued with for silly certificates. I must mention about the incharge of the office "The Registrar" who is a arrogant little man, a doctor himself, but has absolutely no manners to speak to fellow doctors. The entire office is disorganized, the staff are not clear themselves about some rules like which quota seats to register and which not. My suggestion to people going there would be to take all documents [provisional/permanent degree, Internship, study and conduct, adhar card, NOC (if applicable), proof of what quota seat you have taken (KCET/Management/COMEDK), 10std certificate and all additional degree certificates] for registration. There is provision to pay necessary fees at a bank counter situated on the ground floor or you can take a DD as well. And above all take a good cool, tolerant head to go through lot of rubbish on the day. I could find a nearby hotel at walk able distance for lunch. All the best!
The most useless insulting people on planet earth can be found here. Except one helpful lady at the front desk, every single person working here needs to be trained in how to treat another human being. There is no clear directions as to how to get a registration done here. You will end up wasting an entire day at the least.
