Kava Kitchen & Bar

Been there several times, but had a very poor experience during recent visit on 30 Nov 2023. The restaurant cashier or captain was dishonesty trying to overcharge me. I had reserved through Zomato where clear discount was mentioned on my app, and ready to be applied on presentation of the bill. But restaurant was telling me it is not valid because food is already discounted. I had never faced a similar issue in any other hotel based or free standing restaurant.
When he finally agreed, after wasting my time, he played another trick on me, he changed the price itself. He started saying listed price is wrong on Zomato. I told it is not possible and if it is, then it's a problem to be resolved between Zomato and restaurant and not with customer. He again wasted my time second time around, and finally gave in.
All this has left a very bitter taste in my mouth and I will think twice before going there again.

Well, this place is for a budget buffet. You get a less spread of items.typically 2 starters each in veg/non-veg, 1 salad and other light itdms like cut fruits and all. Main course is more widespread with 4 curries, a dal and choice of rice etc. The main attraction for me apart from the value that they deliver in a nominal cost, was service. Restaurant people are eager to help you out in any way they can. That marks a pisitive impression towards the end. All in all a fine dining experience here.

In terms of food, it's an okay okay restaurant. However, the staff are excellent. They have to think something beyond paneer. There were a variety of salads, and those salads did not disappoint.

Service is worst, They won't respond properly, They won't bring what we order They will something else, They won't respect the people.

We went for a la carte, they do not have options max 2-3 types of non veg gravies, service is also way too slow, ordered butter chicken and biryani, both of them tasted good though.

Worst experience.
Pathetic food.
They are cheating in the name of buffet.

Booked the room with Breakfast and dinner!

They serve the buffet dinner in Kava kitchen and bar, food was ok only, Like the goan's barbeque chicken and fish carameri

Breakfast is normal only, they don't have anything in chicken for Breakfast, you can try the freshly made dosa and channa poori.

Try local restaurants.no variety of food do not opt for Buffet.its waste if money and time. Least in my exp of Marriott restaurant

A cosy restaurant for a relaxed meal with your family and friends. We recently visited for dinner and the staff was very cordial and helpful. Due to covid19 not many hotels are serving buffet. However, Fairfield by Marriott at Whitefield is one place which still serves a limited buffet which is sufficient for a hearty meal. The welcome drink, the starters and main course dishes were excellent. The mutton curry along with rotis make a great combination. The chicken dishes were fine. Fish was also on the menu. The desserts consisted of malpua, rice kheer and chocolate cake. Water gets served in small bottles. Overall the ambience makes up for the less than prompt service. The main course took a while and the chef was kind to make a chicken biryani on request.

Liked the chicken sausages and sauteed vegetables. The buffet had bread, jam, butter, bacon and eggs and even South Indian breakfast like idli, vada, dosa etc

Not all that gr8, but gud customer service, food is ok ok but not spacious at all, kind of conjusted not for any family functions

Five star alone for the hospitality. Buffet spread was less, yet all the dishes were really good. Ambience is excellent.

Extremely few options (even for a non vegiterian). Except for the garlic naan and gulab jamuns. Everything else was mediocre for the overpriced buffet. (So glad I used dineout to book and got 50 percent off on the bill or else the lunch would have pinched a lot and ruined the mood further)

The buffet here is pathetic. No variety at all. Also taste was ok.
Starters and salads were ok, thai fish was too salty.
Main course was ok too. No flavor at all.
Desserts had only 2-3 pastries and moong dal halwa which again lacked flavor. No ice creams was also a disappointment.
Did not enjoy at all. And also we were surprised to see that there was no one there except us and now we know why.

Food is tasty.not much spicy.ambience is okay.number of items are limited but will satisfy you.

It is called a kitchen, so don't expect ambience. The place is simple and quiet. Almost no music, so good for those who prefer quiet places.

Quality of food is good. Especially for those who prefer low spices. Fixed buffet menu with limited variety.
I availed a 50% discount voucher from dineout, but otherwise the food is expensive without any discounts. Especially because of the limited variety.
Will I visit again? Yes I will if I get the same discount.

Kava

Located in the midst of Software companies around, Kava by Fairfield Marriott is a pretty nice place to drop by for Sunday brunch. Not so heavily priced with too many options. They got decent prices for the brunch with a good deal of food options to choose from

Spread across next to the entrance, with seating around 50+ Kava space is spread with minimalistic yet nice decor. Started my meal with the welcome drink that is made by mixing Guava juice + Vanilla ice cream.
Thanks to the staff who is present at the chaat counter, made a nice plate for us along with a bombay sandwich.

Their chicken tikka spicy version is to die for. Filled my plate multiple times. One of the best I had in recent times.chicken is juicy & full of flavors. Loved it to the core. Paneer Tikka is nice with cashew on top.not to miss their Rava fish fry.
To Mains, Paneer makhana curry is very good during my brunch along with kadhi pakora. Biryanis are well done esp the chicken version.

Loved the fact they have desserts section ranging from Indian sweets to homemade pastry cakes.appreciate the way the cut fruits are presented.

Good food if price and category of hotel is concerned. Otherwise you would get better food outside. Staffs are well behaved and has good sense of courtesy.
