Wonderful place with scenic attraction, left side with the z point Trekking hill view and on the right the hebba falls Jeep trekking view of the hills.note: better to bring snacks from the Ballavara village as no shops and canteens are available.
This is a cool place. Whenever I am visiting this place I will remember our old kannada movies because this is a film shooting in place. Nowadays it's commercialized and it loses its beauty. Be a responsible traveler and use dustbins.
The KR Park in Kemmanaguddi is located at the peak of a mountain. The view from here is stunning. But the place tends to get a lot of fog and rain when we visited. The approach road or the last 2kms is very bad currently due to rain.
There are even rooms to stay here. There is no option to find food here so do carry your own.
If you plan to visit this place, reach here before 3pm so that you can visit hebbe falls at 3 and after that enter into this forest treking before 5pm.
Superb place to visit just 35kms from Birur MG circle. Z point is just 3Kms from this place but you have to walk in a small narrow road and care must taken since it is Too steep. Nice park is situated here adjacent to Raj bhavan. There is a jungle lodge here and One must go for an online booking to stay here at night.the horticulture dept Gives permission to stay in the lodge at nominal rates around 2000 per room. A small canteen is attached to This jungle lodge. Only BSNL Mobile signals Will work here.
Kemmanagundi is a popular hill station in Chikmagalur district of Tarikere taluk. It is known for its mesmerizing view from the rose garden and sunset point. It was a retreat of Krishnaraja wodeyar. Places to visit in and around: 1. Mulayanagiri Peak 2. Hebbe falls 3. Z point 4. Kallathgiri Hill Falls
This is a botanical garden on top of kemmangundi, which was apparently founded by none other than the Maharaja of Mysuru, Sri Krishna Raja Wadiyar. One can admire the beauty of varied species of flowers in the botanical garden. There is also a provision for purchasing plants from this vicinity. Foggy days, low crowd and the nature at its divine best revitalize and rejuvenate the mind. The green gardens maintained by the Horticulture department liven the atmosphere and helps one disconnect from the city stress. Tea and coffee plantations with thick bamboo groves, an unspoilt mountain get-away is in store for the tourists visiting Kemmangundi.
View from the particular spot was great.could spend time in liesure while watching the sunset. But the way to the point had been blocked because of landslide.it was a very narrow path. Was so difficult to cross. They have entry fee there. The park and flowers and everything was so good.
Fantastic hills place. Weather is mostly similar to Ooty. Private lodging facilities available along with government forest guest House. Beautiful place for young people.
Beautiful view of Kemmangundi, the treck and birds eye view of Bhadravathi reservoir. Roads are good, the last few kilometers can be improved. Worth visiting!
Good drive from Bangalore, nice scenic, went on end July rainy season. Perfect weather. Be careful of leeches while going to falls. Carry salt, and other required medicines.
Park is maintained well and garden is designed to be attractive. Popular for scenic view of the valley and camera clicks. Being is remote place, lack of public washrooms in Govt.maintained place is no way to promote tourism.
Best Place to visit in chikkamanglore district, very cool and foggy spot, better to come with children's to the place and the view of evening sunset is just awesome
Certainly the best place place to visit! It's exquisite! I'm sure you'll forget all your worries here, since this place is amazing, rather mesmerizing! It's a must to visit place. There is also a restaurant available at the hill station, so you don't have to worry about where to eat.
It's amazing to visit this place during winters but not during Summer. It has got some good spot for sunset view. And it's good to visit with family for a day trip. Things are being developed there overall good place.
This place is good for those who love green and it is best in climate season and some forest officer can take money for showing 'abbe falls' for each person it is 400rs before seeing abbe falls pls keep money they dont leave the car for abbe falls.
One of the best place I visited till now. This is best for family or friends trip. Specially kemmannagundi Rose garden and raj bhavan with z point is must visit place.
Words cannot describe this place, we visited it at early morning 5, u are completely covered in clouds at the peak, the view is spectacular, and there is a garden downstairs where u can sit and enjoy the nature
An exhilarating and heartwarming hill station situation at around 65 kilometres from the town of Chikmagalur. The accessibility of the place is quite challenging if you choose to drive in a smaller hatchback or a softer vehicle as you'd be maneuvering a stretch of off-road. Once you reach the top, you would realise that all the driving and maneuvering has paid off. There is a very well maintained park with a few attractions for the children and you can also choose to climb a few steps and reach a higher view point. My suggestions would be to visit this place earlier in the morning to get the best of mists.
Visited this place during mid June. A beautiful place to spend time out there. Weather was amazing with slight drizzle, followed by mild sunlight and then clouds covering the sun again. Loved the time being there.
Awesome getaway place, especially during pre-monsoon or monsoon. Need to book well in advance for guest house. Don’t expect 3star or 5star rated stay experience. A clean warm place to stay and enjoy with family and friends.
We travel places and destinations to enjoy and be Happy. What we see first when we reach a destination is the place and surroundings. A clean place looks beautiful than a place full of Garbage/Litter lying here and there. On a tourist destination, we (as a tourist) can contribute a lot in keeping the destinations clean and attractive. I request all fellow travelers to follow some very basic tips as follows,
Do not throw wrapper, Bottles, Boxes out of the Car, Bus or Train. Stop your friends / Children you are travelling with, also.
Do not throw Left over Food, Fruits etc.out of the Car, Bus or Train. Stop your friends / Children you are travelling with also.
Keep all wrapper and Leftovers with you and dispose at the dustbins of your destination (i.e. Hotel or House). They consume, almost no space or have no weight. Please remember, we also keep partially used packets with us till we consume the last bite.
Do not throw leftover eatables in the open. Try to locate a dustbin in the area and dispose properly. You will find Dustbins in most of the places on tourist destinations (may be at times with little difficulty). Leftover food thrown in the open also attracts animals like Dogs, Monkeys, Cows, Goats, which is a big security hazard for our children.
We need to set a good example for young generation.
Really beautiful place where you can have loads of view points and take amazing pictures. Good to have long walks and relaxation. Children can have a great as there are a few playground rides too.
Amazing views. Sunset is a treat. Walk around late in the night was real fun in winter season. A trek before Sunrise is a fantastic option too. Rooms can be cleaner. Better ventilation can help. Dr. Yoganand, Special oflficer & Plo, Sri Krishnarajendra Giridhama, Horticulture Department, Kemmanagundi is such a gentleman and instrumental in making this place such a treat. Thank you Sir!
Nice place, it has beautiful view from the top of hills. Geust house facilities are super, lovely wheather to see place like that great enjoyment.super
Not worth. No Tiger. Few deers n elephants days it.waste of time as we can see deers n all in zoos.just the feel of Jungle is quite nice n the Safari ride.
The best place I have ever seen, lovely place, blissfull breeze, peace full atmosphere. U never feel like coming back, keep trekking until u reach, that’s Z point for u
We visited this place during August, the off season time, worth every minute. It was drizzling with some heavy wind plus mist. We do not know what is in the park but the environment was super awesome. I'd suggest you to visit during the August Monsoon.
It is very awesome place to spend a time with family, friends. Also good place for newly married couples. We can a beautiful nature, air and mountains.
It is a nice tourism place to visit with family, there is a play zone for kids to play. And view points from where we can enjoy the top views from the top of that particular mountain. And it consists of rock garden which has the statues of wild animals, and it has a guest house too.
It was amazing. While getting down there is a side muddy path which led to led too a waterfall. And then to the z point and the peak. No humans and. So it was really beautiful
