Kensington Swimming Pool

Worst place I ever visited, management persons are very rude, very dirty water. Allowing people with dirty under ware very unhygienic place I would rate -0.

The water is not clean at all.
Basavanagudi Aquatic centre is 100times better than this.

Very neat and clean swimming pool.after 11am only 100 for per person but swimming custom is compulsory.

Can I swim here with a dedicated lane? With membership, what type? Or can I buy say 25 swims that will get my own lane?

In online time is doing 6am to 6pm bat I visit 4pm there not alawing in that time vary bad

Cleanliness and no shower makes it very unhygienic. Specially for kids. All my friends which went there, felt sick either with dengue or viral, because it’s so pathetically maintained. The pool is huge but maintenance is pathetic!

Will start with drawback, and according to me that's a major drawback. They don't keep shower on before and after the swim. Checked with staff, who told me that people take more time in showers so to switch batches it becomes difficult to handle the crowd. I mean that's not the way things work, not everyone lives 5-10 min away from the pool, it becomes irritating to keep the chlorine on your body for so long before you reach your home and clean yourself.

+No evening public batch suitable for office goes

Price- Rs 100 for 40min, only cash, no UPI.

Timings- 11am to 3pm. All batches are mixed gender batches.
Ladies batch- 3pm to 4pm only on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday holiday.
Swimming costume is required.

Otherwise pool was good next to Ulsoor lake which is visible while you swim. 50 meter length, first 25m allowed for general public but deep end only for divers and professional swimmers. This is a private pool owned by dolphin aquatics.

I have been to close to 20 pools and this is my worst experience ever. The water was saline and it had some sediments in the bottom. They did not allow people to go deeper side of the pool.

Coaching is superb compared to others. Nest pool and your missed class are accomodated during weekends. Best for the kids upto 17 year's. Learn to swim for adults. It's starts from 3 feet and goes upto 16 feet.

On a Sunday 2-3pm public batch it wasn't too crowded. Pool is huge, with a great view by the lake.
Pool is clean enough.
Changing and shower rooms are okay, can be cleaner. Need to have hooks for clothes.
Price is awesome for public batch own time entry

Swimming time: 45 mins
Rest 15 mins for dress change
Shower: Showers does not work & dirty.you can consider no shower after swim.please take your bath back at home

Water Quality: Average.crowd: Average.preferred is afternoon time or very early morning batch

Bad attitude. Demanding unnecessary requirements. I had taken swim shorts and cap but was not admitted inside. Asked me to buy some super low quality swim short they were selling. Returned and definitely not going back.

Best pool you can go to in bangalore! It’s really clean and centrally located. Best part is the view you get of Ulsoor lake right next to it! Totally worth it!

This pool is located in wrong place.it's is just opposite to Red Cross Home before this location.
It's located in halsuru lake park side.

Great place to learn and practice. Clean water, experienced coaches.
I would recommend this place for kids who are looking to learn swimming they should opt for this place.

While the pool and instructors are good, the coach to kids ration is very bad. In the batch where I had put my girl the ratio was 1: 10 or sometimes even more.

They need to restrict the number of kids a coach can handle. Each individual child hardly gets few mins of coach attention. While this may not be a big issue for intermediate swimmers, the beginners kids suffer and we will have to sign up for more than 3 batch's untill the kid learns to swim.

I recently enrolled my daughters for the swimming coaching classes (beginners). I am very pleased with the thorough professionalism with which my daughters are being coached by Ms Pooja. She has been very patient and has really put in a lot of effort to ensure that my children overcome their fear of water and learn to swim. I would strongly recommend all those who have small children especially those who have a fear of water to enrol for these classes. Thank you Ms Pooja. Great going!

The pool, is good. Good crowd and lot of people visit considering a real good location by the lake. Just needs more maintenance and cleanliness.

Swimming pool was good and place was neat and clean. Only issue I found was to gather information about batches. People sitting there was only telling what was written on the poster. There is a sat and Sunday evening batch for lap swim.but info was not available about it.

Now renovated swimming pool. Good for swimmer for learning and recreation. This pool don't have climate control. Hence price is less from other pool.

Great facility in the middle of the city. Managed by Nisha Millet I understand. You can just sign up to swim laps. Well maintained Olympic sized pool, been going for a month, don't plan on stopping.

The pool is brilliant. Best I have come across in Bangalore. The coaching staff is also very good. Most batches. Haven't had the best experience with a couple of them but that's ok. It's most certainly Better than the coaching I have taken elsewhere. The changing room are also maintained well. I did find the price to be steep but I guess you have to pay for convenience and quality.

The coaching for adults is divided as beginners and intermidiate. Which is the reason I like it. You can also use the pool only for laps as well, if you can swim the entire length.

I see many kids training there for championships and other at a professional level and do feel bad about my swimming skills as the kids are rockstars

4 stars coz of the price else it would have been 5 from me.

Review is w.r. T to my kid's ongoing summer camp. Pool is clean and has evolved under Nisha Ma'ams team took over.
As for training, the trainers are doing their absolute best. Taking individual care of the kids. I wish there was heated pool option but that's just a small nitpicking as I wish to take my kid during winters too.
Overall completely satisfied.

Decently maintained pool. Since its Olympic pool, kids preparing for competitions gets a real feel of what it takes to swim a pool that long.

Not recommended. It's like kumbh mela. That too on a tuesday afternoon. Think about the weekends. I saw a white hans pack floating on the water surface. The horror. They have a big pool but only half is allowed for swimming. Atleast they should restrict the count. But no.
70rs per head per 45 mins for swimming.
20 rs for 4wheeler per hour
10 rs for 2wheeler per hour.
5rs for cycle.

Very clean and well-maintained pool. Ample parking space is available (though it comes at a charge). The pool is not heated, but as it is in a sunny area, the water temperature is fine. The changing rooms and rest rooms are also clean and properly maintained.

I came on Friday 30-Nov to swim there but they didn't allow to me to swim as they told that the pool is closed for puplic on Friday, and the pool is open for puplic all the week accept Friday which is only for members.

So I came in the next day Saturday at 7: 00 pm to swim and later they told me that the puplic batch is only between 12: 30 to 1: 30 and 1: 30 to 2: 30 pm.so am also not allowed to swim.

Later the manger called me and told me "okay I'll allow you to swim but the charge will be 300 rs". So I left the place cause I felt that is a type of scam.

At the end the pool looks perfect but the system manager are the worst system I've seen.there is no clear mentioning time table for puplic batch.

Any way if you wanna join there you should expect this type of behaviour with there customer.
