Restaurant run by a couple from Kottayam. We had meals and porotta. Also from curries egg roast and squid roast. Overall good experience. Food was really nice.
A homely style restaurant serving kerala meals and dishes from kerala cuisine, near graphite India junction. Their food menu serves most of the traditional kerala items, including the meat delicacy: beef. In beef they have beef fry, roast and beef biriyani, which are my personal favourites. They also serve veg meals as a buffet, where you can eat as much as you wish for just 90 rupees. Now this is great value for money. I tend to come here very often, as i go for work in a nearby IT park. The trip to this place, the warm welcome by Mr. Joseph and the food here is always very pleasing. The veg meals can have different items over every day of the week; tasty and consistent most of the time. I wouldn't mind if it ain't consistent on an odd day or two. Because, i like the food here anyway. Personally, I am happy that this place exists and also for the varied options available here that can please any malayali. They have items in chicken, prawns, other fishes, beef, etc among others.
Edit: Their biriyani, both beef and chicken are amazing. The meat used, the masala and the juicy feel of the biriyani are quite refreshing.
Waste of money. No taste. I ordered a biriyani the biriyani was like a chicken curry with rice. For the it's Rs. 150. Not a suggested hotel. Rates are bit heavy then other Kerala hotels.
The non veg food available here is the highlight of the restaurant with kebabs and karimeen pollichathu, for vegetarians this place doesn't have much to offer. They are even ready to show their experiments in veg curries only to fail. Even though, the meals they serve is of high quality and at an affordable price. The only problem we faced was hygeine, we got worms on porotta and a day old aviyal. Other than that, it's a place one could rely on to taste Kerala food.
Very good Kerala restaurant with good options for lunch. Provides both white and boiled rice in the menu.you have to take plate and take rice, curry, pickle, payasam, etc from the desired place. You can take as much food as you want.overall good service and value for money.recommending
