Xtremely found the Eatery in a very badly managed. Chole Bhature was horrible. Went to the Senior told him about the service and the Dish. He was reluctant to listen and heed to my advice. If this sort of customer service given the end result will be very bad
This is basically a sweet shop with serves chaats and have a eatery section on first floor and also they have a small bakery for biscuits, etc. I have been to this place numerous times. I don't have a sweet tooth really, but I like their ras malai, small gulab jamun (without sugar syrup, dey ones), jalebi, they keep kulfi as well:) I have bought biscuits from this place as well which are actually quite nice. The food served here on the first floor is just ok, nothing great, so will not suggest the same. For sweets, you can still go there.
Nice place to have chat & samosa for snacks. They offer main course also in their first floor. Chole bhature is nice to try. Main course is somewhat pricey.
Awesome food. We tried coupld of dishes and all were really good. Laccha Parata was good. This place needs a good ambiance for sure. Tried Hot Jalebi and it was yummy!
Presentation and Ambience is good. But Kesar has the most inferior quality of sweets and snacks in AECS layout. Food is tasteless and preparation is not up to the mark. Other nearly food & snacks joints are better than Kesar.
For enjoying the Authentic navratri special thalis and punjabi, North Indian meals and sweets must visit place. Reasonably priced, self service preferred and hygienic place to dine in or for take aways.
We tried dal makhani, paneer lababdar, chowmin, chole bhature, naan. All of the items were very good. Amazing taste and quality. Must try for North Indian food.
Visited yesterday, It's open after the lockdown has been lifted. Still chaats and all bakery items were not available probably due to limited demand and foot fall, samosas were available Though the restaurant on first floor is operative.
Jalebi and chat items are really good here. Bhel and kulfi are also recommended. Sweets are also good compared to some of the other sweet shops in the neighborhood.
Absolutely unacceptable and pathetic behaviour by Mr. Mani: the so called the restaurant manager. He was very rude and unprofessional. Once we were a big fan of the food and service. Food Quality has degraded and service is horrendous. Please don't go.
If you're have craving for jalebi, this place serves the best jalebi. You can also have it with rabdi and it's a good combo. I would give this a 5/5 rating ️
I would like to share one of the worst Family Dinner Experiences I had today at Kesar Sweets AECS Layout. We ordered Cream of Tomato and Manchow Soup, Chole Bhature, Paneer Lababdar, Aloo Gobhi, Tandoori Roti, Amritsari Kulcha and Lachcha Parantha. Cream and Tomato used in the soup were stale. Paneer and Alu Gobhi Sabji Gravy were the same where a lot of Ketchup and same Stale Tomato's were used. All the items including Chole and Gravies were loaded with too much of garlic and the taste was very very poor. We are living in this area for the last decade or so and we have been to kesar earlier multiple times and never had such bad experiences earlier.
We have raised it to the manager on duty who acknowledged the change in cooking staff recently to report to the owner and hope to get our expense refunded. Definitely not recommended for anyone family or bachelors.
Food quality and taste is awesome. From chata to sweets to their combos. All are good. Their special thali, bengali sweets, kulfi, chaats, jalebi are must try
Food quality: not upto the mark. Had heard kuch about it but not at all near to the expectations. Noodles/manchurian/chole bhatture all were below par.
First visit and certainly not disappointed. Loved the Chhole Bhature.pleasantly and happily surprised to see a Bhatura that's not greasy at all. Aloo Parantha though a bit spicy was too good. The Raita also. Lassi was tasty too. Surely a second visit will be on the mind.
Packaging is too poor even after charging extra from you. Rabdi was very bad.pani puri was good. Makki roti and saag was not great.roti were too hard and saag was very spicy.
This is one of the best sweet shop in Brookfield, Bangalore. Very friendly staff, unfortunately coz of COVID the store/resturant is not working with 100% capacity but they are providing what they are famous for. In my last visit in the evening I was very happy to see the jalebi counter open and it was amazing feeling having it for the first time since lockdown.
This is located in AECS layout main road and they are week known for their sweets and chats and cakes. And it's purely vegetarian food. They do have restaurant also in place where they serve all Gujarati style, jain style, some Chinese and north Indian style food. There are not much on ambience except the food. They are lack of parking area. Coming to food, they are good at thali, amrutsir thali, executive thali etc and the have alacarte food in north Indian style. Most of the food being prepared with Ghee and butter, you feel the taste of it. The taste is ultimate and people who look for veg only, it's best choice to chose.
Very good, many types of sweets especially the jilebi you must try it. It tastes really good and is a must try type of sweet shop. Eggless baking is also available and you can have a costum made baked items. Consists of many and really mouth watering chats. Various kachori bhel Puri pani Puri. Decent place to sit/Stan and eat!
Hey, they got good collection of kulfi s as well
Small place for 2/4 wheeler parking, we can park on opposite side of the road as well.
It's right on main road of aeces lay out. Close to Brookfield maal.
I've visited several times and this shop is know for good quality, variety. For corporate orders.snacks with team.this could be a good option.who has no restrictions to eat sweets or such food items.
Health or fitness concern people.need to control your temptations! Else avoid going there
Best place in Bangalore East (KR Puram, Whitefield, Marathahalli) to buy sweets. Prices are reasonable, quality is good and they have many other snacks like samosa, kachauri and many other namkeen, jalebi etc.which is really good in taste. Chutney they provide with samosa is best that you can ever get.
Terrible attitude towards customers. The resturrest is in first floor. Which is self service the chats are on ground d floor and tea outside on the counter. One has to take stuff from all three places separately and the take it to first floor. Makes you feel efficient as a.waiter. The best part is the attitude if the chashier and the manager is to die for. On asking is this the level of your service response is hamara self service hai! Terrible
Here is the icing on the cake. The staff on ground floor even declined to provide a tray to carry food up in one go. I found an idleing tray by the water cooler picked it up and helped myself.
We used to be a good Goto place when it came up newly. Now after 3 years, the place as become horrible. The people have grown rude and arrogant, the chat counter person is least bothered to cater customer needs. I had a sev puri it was filled with salt and only salt. Definitely not worth for money at all.
The real ghee preparation North Indian and Rajasthani sweets. They have a range of sweets which varies from traditional sweets e.g. Kaju Katli, Motichur Laddu, to some of the innovative lot e.g. Moti Pak.
Their cakes are also good. Chaats are definitely one of the best in town. The hot imarti definitely steals the deal. The restaurant on the first floor is also good.
Pure vegetarian food center. Sweets, chats and other food items are available. Food is tasty. It's on a busy street and parking on peak hour is really challenging. Food is tasty.
Horrible experience ordering online. I ordered food today using swiggy app. One special thali. And they have sent me thali without any rotis in there. When I called the customer care people of swiggy that are saying the hotel people made mistake. And when I call hotel they asked me to contact swiggy. Please pay extra cautions when you place order online at such restro.
Good place for vegetarians. Not very expensive. Lot of options for north indians. Definite place to try out. Have a huge collection of sweets, very expensive. Jalebi is really very tasty. Evenings is the best time to visit for having hot - hot jalebi's.
Not really worth for visiting. If you are coming here to taste some North Indian delicacies than probably you will be disappointed on the taste. Really bad taste of 5-6 different items that we have tried here. Really bad service and no coordination between payment counter and food counter. The payment counter person will take payment from you for a particular dish, without having any knowledge about that particular dish is still available or not.
Decent place for North Indian sweets and snacks. Rates are a bit high but the quality does not disappoint. Sweets typically arrive fresh at around 10am.
