Krishna Homestay Hampi

Amid the green fields of New Hampi, this family run Home Stay is like a second home in every way. I stayed there for 4 days with my wife and 3 year old son in end November 2022. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The terrace/ common area for dining is great for sitting down with a cup of tea and chat. The roof gives a glimpse of pastoral Hampi with fields dotted with coconut and banana plantations. Mr Raghavendra is a generous host and he along with his wife took good care of all our needs. I will strongly recommend this place for families, especially the ones with small kids because they provide delicious and suitable home cooked food with lots of love and consideration. There is ample parking space for a car and excellent wifi connectivity. The distance from here to Hampi main bazaar is less than 3 km. Overall a gem of a place to relax at the end of a day of exploring the sites of Hampi.

Nice place to stay when you are visiting Hampi. Their service is very good. Also, auto rickshaw was arranged by the owner for sightseeing. We were completely satisfied.

Krishna Homestay Hampi
A great find in Hampi. We have visited Hampi on multiple occasions and have stayed in different places each time, in Hampi village, other side of the river etc. However, this place is most ideally suited for visiting Hampi.
Krishna Homestay is situated in 'New Hampi' Village, which is on the temple side of the river and all places of interest are close by. Its better to stay here than Hampi village itself, as Hampi village is small and has parking related issues.
We stayed here in June for 4 nights. Travelled with Elderly parents and two pet dogs.
The homestay provides two adjacent rooms on the first floor with open sit out cum dining area in the front.
Great room with AC, king size comfortable bed, good blanket, ups (power back-up), clean bathroom with good fittings.
Great wifi strength. Open car parking.
Tasty home cooked veg food. Its all-local preparation and we loved it.
Raghvendra, the host was such an amazing, down to earth person. He was always available and eager to make our stay comfortable. Reach out to him, as he manages one more top rated homestay nearby.

Worst service ever, staff behaviour is too worst towards customer i booked hotel for the shown price there he demanded for cancel that booking and pay extra money its almost the double than the rate i booked, either dont post online regarding your hotel with such manupulative prices or then demand for extra money if its booked then kindly provide it for that rate rather than manupulating people with such prices. Its simple ethics if you're into buisness to provide services that you promise highly disagreed with your behaviour toward your coustmer. I would like to rather give zero stars if there is option.

Mr. Raj's Krishna Homestay is one of the best homestays, can be choosen without any rethink. The hygiene of the room and bathrooms is appreciable. The healthy homely food available is also good. The days I spent there are memorable due to their hospitality.
The location is about 3 km away from all major attractions of Hampi. And Mr. Raj arranged an auto and the driver namely Mr. Pandu is well aware about the historical importance of all the places in Hampi.

I have planned a trip to hampi from Bangalore on a weekend. I have got details from friends regarding the homestay and I made the most right choice of choosing to stay in this place. Krishna homestay is by far the best place I have ever stayed while travelling. The hospitality of the place is very good, the owner Raju is a very humble and affectionate man. He takes care of all the needs in the place for customers. So I will start with few points which I have found best there,

1) The ambiance of the place is amazing and it gives u calm vibes. Which makes you relax a lot. The greenary behind the cottage offers you the best atmosphere to relax and enjoy.

2) OMG, I got the best food during my trip. I have never eaten such amazing south indian food on a trip & the food made here are crafted to perfection.

3) He arranges transport for u at a minimal cost and also helps you to get a nominal rates for exploring Hampi.

4) He is very knowledgeable regarding the places in Hampi & gives u a wide variety of perspective regarding the place about its history.

5) I was so happy with the place and had a best trip of my life in hampi. All thanks to Raju for making the trip easy and comfortable for me.

The stay was amazing. Hosts are absolutely the best and polite to us. They provided us with all the facilities and even food to my 10month baby. The breakfast and thalis are too good that you never miss your home. Contact them for any purpose they will get you whatever you needed.

Incredible experience at this homestay. Our Host, Mr. Raju is a very warm person who tries his best to make guests comfortable at every step. We stayed at this place this place for four days and worked two of those and internet was generally good as well - 3g/4g works with Airtel in the worst case as well. The place was so good and affordable that we ended up staying an additional day just to enjoy and chill. Highly recommended!

P. S - The peanut chutney at the breakfast at this place is to die for - we asked for it every day after we tasted it the first time.

I travelled to hampi by chance. Raju the owner was not just a host, but also a guide for helping us to see and understand hampi and it's history. The rooms were neat, the food awesome. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Good people! Good food!

Krishna homestay is an amazing place to stay while you are on a trip to Hampi. The place is all about relaxing atmosphere with nice clean environmwnt and tasty food. Raju, the homestay owner is one of the nicest person and helps his customers for every bit of information and comfort. The rooms are amazing and clean with almoat all the modern amenities. The food is amazing too. Raju will help you arrange transportation and every other thing necessary for you to roam and visit in Hampi.

Krishna homestay is just 3km from hampi.the host Mr. Mariraju is very friendly and polite.the rooms are neat and clean with a spacious porch with shade for dining. The quality and quantity of food served here is best and definitely tasty and freshly made in their home itself.

Visited with my family during Feb, 2021 after reading positive reviews and to our satisfaction it was true. MR. Raju & his entire family took care like their own family. Location from ruins, privacy, cleanliness, and home food was a great plus. I would say best home stay at a great price. There are total two rooms on the terrace and best suits for a family of 4-5 members.

Raju spent time in explaining me about sightseeing and he also has guide contact at good price.

Stay was amazing. Food excellent. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Loved the hospitality. Mr and Mrs. Raju are a wonderful host. Also, the place is quite close to all the important paces.

Homestay is located in Kadirampur, 3Kms from Hampi. It is super clean with excellent amenities. Solar hot water, good bed, Smart TV, super fast wifi and Blue star AC, all at good price. Raju and Swathi were excellent hosts and now friends. Food made by Swathi was too good. Raju is always there for any help needed.

The host is super friendly and caring in nature. The room are like a hotel room. With the yummy homemade food he shared his experience and knowledge about hampi. He also suggested us two rickshaw for us to roam in hampi - 'Mani & Hari Anna'. They both took us to all the places and also recommended the best and cheap shopping places and restro for lunch.

Good place to stay. Never expected a hotel like bedroom and services in homestay. U won't feel like you are staying away from home. The owners treat u like family member. They have even helped me to prepare food for my 1 year old baby.

We travelled to Hampi during Sankranti 2021, with our 18 month old baby. We were very scared as this was our first travel with our baby after lockdown. We came across Krishna home stay in booking.com, we booked based on the user ratings. When we visited the place we were shocked to see the rooms. They were simply superb. Better than the photos in the website. The owner Raju and Swathi were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Swathi for her mouth watering and finger licking good indian cuisine dishes. We tried various wellknown eateries in Hampi but they were no where comparable with with respect to taste or quantity of food. They serve very good veg meals and breakfast, since our first day there was festivel we ate vegetarian thali. I should say it was very delecious. Initially we were very worried about our kids food but the couple were extremely supportive. We were also allowed to use their kitchen to cook food for our kid. They also provided hot milk for our toddler. Coming to the room, it was no less than a five star hotel. We never expected that we could get such services in such a small remote village. Their family mingled very well with our family and provided all kinds of support to make our trip very memorable. They even packed lunch for our return journey. Kudos to Krishna home stay

Deserves 6 star. The host Mr. Mariraju and his family have taken care of us like their relatives. Rooms are well sanitised, clean and tidy. Food provided was awesome and tasty. A good hospitality provided. We were worried about staying during COVID time but we are happy and lucky to have chosen this home stay. I would be very happy to visit and stay there. Guests are treated really well.
