Kudro Destinn

We booked this hotel for 2 nights. This was our first stay in this hotel and despite a few red flags from the reviews we went ahead and booked.
First of all, this hotel does not have a parking and we had to keep the car on the street.

As soon as we checked in (around noon), we found that the hotel room was not clean (dust all over the place), ceiling area close to the AC had mold growth, the bathroom was wet like someone had just used it and the washbasin area had disgusting soap sud residues. Even the toilet was really bad. It had mold growth on the walls and ceilings with badly aligned toilet seat (which will make the thighs touch the toilet commode sides while sitting) and we also found half used toiletries.

We were really hungry after a 18-hour long drive so we first went out to eat and while leaving, we asked them for a AC remote (that was missing from the room given to us).

When we returned after lunch, we went to the reception and asked for a change of room (because of the above reasons) and the receptionist (tall, thin, fair, extremely rude guy) was not at all cooperative and was acting smart by saying that the rooms are fully booked. Then we asked if the AC remote was put in our room. And the rude receptionist asked a staff guy to fetch the AC remote from another room number, which obviously meant that there were unoccupied rooms available.
We could not tolerate that so we searched online, found a replacement hotel and checked out immediately though we had to forgo 100% of the stay amount.
While checking out in the evening on that day itself, the reception guy asked us why we are checking out and when we gave the above mentioned reasons, then he miraculously replied that "they have one room available just now" (how convenient!).
We refused the offer and checked out.
Basically, this hotel is a cheap quality lodge with rude reception staff and overpriced rates. They seem to be under some delusion that they are on par with the other better hotels around them and that they can simply put up such inflated rates. One can definitely find several better options in the nearby vicinity.

My stay at VITS Mangalore was a mixed bag. The staff's dedication to pleasing guests was evident, and the hotel's location, near popular tourist spots, was convenient.

However, the high price we paid during a long weekend left us questioning the value for money. The amenities were disappointingly basic, and the lack of dedicated parking, being part of a larger building, was inconvenient.

One significant drawback was the subpar maintenance, especially evident in stained toilet seats, which detracted from the overall experience.

In conclusion, VITS Mangalore has its strengths in staff hospitality and location, but the basic amenities, lack of parking, and substandard maintenance may leave guests expecting more for the price paid.

In the bustling city like Mangalore, this is a quaint place in Kudroli, in between Car street and Kudroli temple. Service is very prompt and so it courteous behaviour of staff, quick to attend any request with Smile!

Had good experience
Cleanliness everything was good.
Parking place should be improved.
Rest everything is fine.

Hassle free checkin. Neat room, quite responsive staff. Any shortcomings are immediately rectified of informing the reception.
The only thing that puts off is the morning breakfast.those who are accustomed to the buffet breakfast will find it inconvenient to wait for 20 minutes after ordering.

My first decent stay at Mangalore since 3 days. Some place worth spending money on outside home. I always go out trying to find that sth different at a lodging, to justify the effort going out of way of normal living in your city. May be it was the modern steel interior or the open full length window that opened out to sky colors for time-lapse or just decent enough to defy the rooms I've had to put up with so far

Visit for Office work. Superb place to stay for Official work, Family trip, Holidays. Excellent room ambience, neat clean. All amenities available. Very polite, hospitable staffs. Resto bar is very special - Great atmosphere, Cozy, Nice music, Full Stock of Drinks and Starters Food are Yummy. Lots of new variety. Fusion Coffee Bar is a good option to hangout. Overall nice experience. Place to come back again and again.

Very Good experience from here. Room service was cool also there room was neat and clean. Rate is little bit higher than other hotels in Manglore. But from my side i got advantage only from here ️. Thank you so much Kudro Destin. If u guys not alloted we need to spend whole the day in Railway Station

I'm very happy with their services. Booked Another hotel in Mnglr, when i try to check in they denied because of Intercaste but they didn't mention about this on their policies. After i call Kudro Destin to book room. They are very friendly clear my whole doubts. Thank You So Much. Well Maintained Rooms Food was also good. Price is little bit higher than other hotels

Very unprofessional and bad managers handling the finances. This hotel doesn't deserve to be 3 star with such unprofessional and unethical staff. I feel cheated by staying at this hotel, doesn't recommend anyone. I had to check out one day prior due to some medical emergency of my daughter. We asked for the cancellation and refund of one day stay amount at front desk, initially they didn't agree. They didn't allow us to talk to the manager in authority. After lot of discussions, one lady from finance Ms. Diana promised me that she would settle the refund amount in 3-4 and gave her contact number as well. Till date, we haven't got any refund and this lady is not picking our call. They didn't even provide a proper GST bill during check out and told that their printer is not functional and they will send thru mail, till date not received.

An excellent stay for travellers in mangalore. You will like their attention to details and extra effort they make to make sure your stay was comfortable. Just that their hospitality is just top class. Special mention and thanks to Ashrith. Highly recommend it. One point though breakfast can improve just a bit but restaurant both veg non veg and bar are top notch.

I have stayed N number of hotels but I never felt this bad. Worst experience over all. No proper welcome in reception (expecting 100% advance in before joining. I have booked 3 nights still expecting the complete) and intimation was worst behaviour and smoky smell all over hotel. No proper ventilation. Worst experience in hotel where we pay high and getting breakfast. Very limited offers that too waiting period is 20min for single dosa. Moreover ordering food in room is differrent supply is totally different. Overall no proper AC ventilation in rooms. Only solar hot water in bath room. After paying huge amount to hotel no comfortable stay. As I said i have stayed all over Karnataka hotels i never compromised this much and writing this message in deep sad

Excellent rooms which are very kept sparkling clean with AC and all the necessities that are needed. I stayed here for 2 days and was WFH during these 2 days. The wifi was really good and the in house restaurant food was decent. It’s in a very convenient location and totally worth the money we paid. The only negative is car parking is on the street and no covered/ basement parking.

Rooms and accommodation are very good but no proper ventilation we need to depend completely on AC every time.

Food is decent - complementary breakfast is not up to the mark as taste of south Indian food is not great. Only north Indian food is good

Had a great 3 days stay. Everything was good, only bad thing was the soap shampoo and other toiletries kept in the bathroom as it felt cheap quality and it was having bad fragrance.

Worst manager in the hotel and also staff.very bad service.trust me guys.please book other hotels than this one, worst service i have ever seen

This hotel is the best hotel to stay if you're in for a quick getaway or a business trip in Mangalore. This is situated in the heart of the city and every other places is accessible within minutes. The rooms are clean, spacious, hygienic with wardrobes, the service is top notch. The in house non veg restaurant serves delicious food for a very decent price.

The only drawback is their veg restaurant. The food quality is average and the service is slow. There is no parking as well.

Other than these drawbacks, the place is a very good stay if you're touring Mangalore.

Located in the city and on busy road, this is perfect offering for given budget. Rooms were clean, staff was polite and supportive. Food is also good and rooms were provided with required amenities.

Very tasty and affordable food. Quality of the food was very good and the food was delicious, had tried Veg Tiranga, Veg Kofta (kofta is made up of paneer very yummy) zafrani Biryani, the taste of which is beyond words, roti and naan, all the food was very delicious. It's opposite Alake Market. Do try.

Have stayed in various hotels in Mangalore. Kudro destin is surely one of the feather in the cap when it comes to budget friendly hotels in the mangalore. Excellent rooms with exceptional room amenities and spacious rooms.
Friendly staffs and great f&b outlets.

Good place to stay, clean and very nicely maintained. The rooms were medium sized but had all d necessities. Very happy with that part. Staff was cooperative as well. The inhouse restaurants were painfully disappointing. Did not take our orders and food quality was not too good. The restaurants need to work on their customer service.

Best place to stay in. Very affordable and hygiene rooms but in case you lost the key, you have to pay for it. Just like I did

It can easily be given 5 star. However I have rated it 4 just because of the size of the rooms as they are reallyyy small.

It was good experience at Kudro Dustinn, whatever I have seen in the image while booking, I think I got it. The service and staff was very kind. Room and bathroom were very neat and clean. Also, room service was pretty good.
Best place to say if your coming to mangalore for a office trip or with family in the affordable range.

No parking, small rooms, unclean towels, call multiple times for no water coming and breakfast is served all in one plate at once and the rude person has no idea what he gives. The idly was sour and hard, vada was stale Upma and Kesari was sticky dosa was ok and had to wait till 8: 50 AM to waste all the food served was not good. Never expected that food in Mangaluru at least.

Modern looking rooms, with all the possible amenities one would need.nothing was lacking here in the rooms.however, the property has no parking but you can park your vehicle in the opposite market compound - at your own risk.but we can see the vehicle from the room, and that is sort of reassuring.the staff were pleasant and obliging.will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Mangalore!

Very good hospitality I didn't expect from that but this turns out to be a great place with very cheap rates. If you are in Mangalore this is the place to stay

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The room was clean and very nicely furnished. It was as per the pictures posted online. Location is quite convenient. Service was very good.

Overall our stay was good. Only issue we had was with their breakfast timing… we had to wait for almost an hour. Though the timing for Breakfast was from 8 am -10 am. The chef was late on both the days of our stay. Despite of informing that we need breakfast at 8 the next morning it was not ready and of course no apology was given.
When it rains water through the window comes into the room and since it is a closed the room stinks. Also clean the sheets properly please. I noticed the sheets had red stains at the corner only at the end of our stay.

Our rooms were good but very unhappy with the service as receptionist was un aware of any thing we asked and breakfast was not ready before 9.30 on our both days of stay in spite of telling after the first day of experience that we need to leave by 8 for a meeting.
And none of them were even apologetic or concerned about the delay even when we expressed our concerns.

Kudro Destinn.found and booked this hotel by chance, based on reviews by fellow travelers. And the place pleasantly surprised and pleased us. Extremely clean, airy and bright rooms. Loved to watch the rain through the big glass windows. Quaint cozy hotel with excellent food, hospitality and staff. Tq.would love to come back!

A newly opened property with some of the best interiors Mangalore has ever seen. Rooms are top notch, their Tow restaurant has interiors which will mesmerize you. Waiting for their bar to open and I am definitely gonna spend my weekends with my friends here
