Hotel looks luxury from the outside and the location is also fine. We have booked 3 rooms on the weekend. In that one room doesn't have a lock for the bathroom, one room light was not working and no hot water in the early morning for another room. The bed sheet and towel look old and not cleaned well. Service was not good and they are not negotiable on pricing also, we can get good hotels in this area with less price. Resto bar is good and the garden outside the hotel is attractive.

Good location and budget friendly hotel! In house restaurant and bar is available and food is ok with quantity for the price! Nice parking area available

Worst stay. Rooms were very dingy and not maintained. Bathroom was dirty and smelly. There was electric current passing through the tap. There was kettle and tea cups kept but not tea kit. Even in asking for that they said they don't provide tea kit. For morning tea from the kitchen when we called the kitchen, no one answered. There was no one at the reception either. In all this property doesn't deserve even 1 star.

I don't have any words for how to describe this worst experience.

They cancelled my pre-paid booking (made through MMT) and did not even informed about the same till late night. I was with my my family.

Even they informed me not to log this issue with MMT

Due to them I almost paid 15K extra for my stay in Maysor as it's vacation season.

Such a worst type of hotel. No responce and no care once you paid the money. Hotel staff vijai kumar will talk nicely before arrival, once arrived they won't care about you and they will act like they don't know anything. I recommended this hotel for my family circle and I never recommend this hotel to any one. Rooms given without cleaning.

Nice place and good ambience.but customer service is poor.rooms and bathrooms are spacious.rooms aren't clean properly. It is near the main road. Ac and heater is not working.water is not available in morning. There is enough place to park.

Very much Disappointed with the service. We had a function in banquet Hall. Hall is really good, but lifts weren't working, Complimentary room provided was stinking, Food served was stale, They shld really consider improving their standards for a restaurant like that.

Atleast do not plan for lunch with family. I had a worst experience. No good service. They served spoilt rotis.

Was there for a function. Pathetic service, lift not working since 3 days, Stale food. Non considerate staff. Don't go by the looks of party Hall. No service motto!

Worst experience. I booked this hotel on Agoda and I reservation confirmation e-mail. Usually I used call to the hotel once before I go. This time I didn't do and I paid the price. The hotel man told that he didn't get any information from agoda about the booking. Also offered help that he will get me another hotel and I refused it. I told him to give the same written on a paper and give it and he refused it. Eventually I booked another hotel and managed. Otherwise it was very scary, I was with my family. Not only the hotel, never book on agoda too.

Good ambience. Building is almost 50 years old so. It gives a old world charm and reminds of the bungalows of yore.

Worst service, no cooks, waiters don't speak English, portions smaller than a pack of peanuts.my order was delayed for an hour for fks sake. I have seen street vendors cook up a plate of fried rice faster.

The experience was extremely poor. The room was not clean the fridge in the room had stale food from previous guest. We have to ask them to clean it. Also basic toiletries were not given like toilet rolls. Water was given only for day one stay but was not given for day 2 stay.however the location was amazing as everything in Mysore was just two or three kilometres away. Also the restaurant in the hotel is very good in terms of taste and price. The staff at the hotel was also very polite.

Very good Hotel in Mysore. Dr. Rajkumar's permanent and favourite Hotel.
A cool and calm place to stay. Will stay regularly here. Please do stay with

Worst hotel ever experienced. Don't book this hotel prior. They have changed our room twice. Break fast is also worst.

Very nice, good location. Favorite actor Dr. Rajkumars favorite hotel. Very good rooms, food, atmosphere. One of the selected hotels in Mysore.

Hotel atmosphere is great, and Very famous Sujatha Hotel name changed as Kumar's Fab,
But Cleanliness should be maintained correctly and Electrical maintains also noticed some where, pls maintain the cleanliness and Maintainanance properly and Pride the value of Mysore.

Worst place. Just money minded people who really don't care if you don't have direct booking them.

Old heritage place. Cine actor Rajkumar's favourite place.earlier it was named Sujata hotel. Needs to improve a lot.

Its a pathetic hotel with arrogant staff.
We have done the booking 2 month ago for 2 premium rooms (1 with double bed, 2 with triple bed) via FabHotels in Kumar white house Mysore and paid the amount in advance for 29 check-in & 30 checkout for 5 adults and 1 kid.
After online booking confirmation have confirmed the same with Kumar hotel as well but the day we have to check-in we call the hotel after reaching Mysore, firstly they refused that our booking is there with them whereas we have a paid invoice with us.
Then we reach out to fab hotel they said to directly walk-in to hotel. We were already late in all the blunder and reached the hotel at 3 instead of 12 but then also hotel manager said they don't have any rooms and asked us to wait.
I was travelling with my family having a 2 year old kid and my parents as well but then also the staff was not at all polite and co-operative.
Instead of having premium rooms booking they didn't provided us the same and after having a lot of discussion 2 standard rooms were given which were not cleaned at all and in a very poor condition and the hotel owner asked us to adjust.
Having paid for premium rooms in advance they provided us the standard rooms with no amminites and in a poor condition.

They were trying to accept the bookings from fab and at the time of check-in they refused because they are selling their rooms at higher rates to take advantage of the situation.

Would strongly recommend never book rooms there and i have raised the same concern in consumer court as well.

Sujatha Residency - Once upon a time it was called as Hotel Sujatha. It was said that the late Veteran Kannada Actor Dr. Rajakumar whenever he used to visit Mysore would rest in this hotel and people used to gather around the hotel to have glimse of him. The hotel was shutdown in 1998 and after 12 years, the hotel is now reopened and renamed as Sujatha Residency. You can refer the pics to know more about the outer look of the facility.

Facilities:

Positives:
1) Very clean and spacious rooms with AC and Non AC facility
2) Restaurant inside the facility and is maintained well, food served is good
3) Good and ample amount of parking facility
4) Prices are very economical - Room prices ranges from Rs. 800 to Rs. 1500

Negatives:
1) Staff support is good but they take their own time to provide support.
2) You need to request in order to get basic room facilities such as a toileteries, tissue paper and even Bathroom towels.
3) Restaurant says Bar & Restaurant but there is no Bar, it looks like they haven't got a Bar license
4) Food Options are quite limited.

Great location but away from the noise. Clean rooms, good ambience and good food. And value for money!

Booked my room via make my trip. Worst room ever. Asked for room change, they did provide it with extra cost. No facilities in the rooms. Unclean. Staffs are polite though but the management is very poor.
I don't recommend for family or couple.
For singles or group of men, it's ok.

Careful while booking from third party sites like makemytrip, ibibo. Restaurant staff allocatiing terrace rooms.its nothing but cheating.while thy charge the same price but gives terrace rooms.
