A good budget hotel for the business traveller and for those who travel in a larger group from outside for some event or funciton in the city of Banglore.the banquet halls are well placed and provided.the catering services need to improve drastically to keep up with the rest of the amenities and facilities which are good.the breakfast spread is great and ideal for the business traveller.the location may not be great but it is defenitely not bad.would recommend the place.
The attitude of the staff was pathetic, there was so much delay in serving the food, after starters they took so much time to serve the main course, in between each course there was so much reluctance to serve that I lost my appetite completely, such a lousy restaurant.will never go there.
Good Ambience, but I felt there is nothing good on the menu and food was also not to mark. I do not recommend.you could find better options outside if you are looking for a only lunch or dinner!
Experience was GREAT till checkout. At checkout the reception tells me that I will be charged for the snacks that I consumed in the room (snack plate had a pack of lays chips wort 10 rs, pack of cashews, nuts and pista all worth 50-60 rs at most - total worth of the whole snack plate won't exceed 200-300 rupees). Nothing around the snack plate told me or indicated that these snacks we're NOT complementary. At checkout they tell me that there is a rate card that was kept next to snack plate which wasn't there in my room. They charged 969 rupees for snacks worth 300! And for a management that charges 7489/- per night, shouldn't the snacks be complimentary? Even if it is not, the management should clearly communicate that snacks are chargeable and NOT rob customers at checkout. (FYI- The rate card was not placed in my room) People will happily pay more for services, but do not cheat the customer just without clear instructions or communications.
I was told that the hall booked for the event was given to somebody else and event was forced to be conducted in open space, December evening on the 7th floor was windy and cold. Show and switch, they seem to be experts This is my second time they have done with my associates
Ambience is good. Food is okay. But service is lousy. Not only are they slow to attend to a customer, they mess up the order and take their own sweet time to bill. They badly need training.
I am regular for LA marvella.food Will be up to my taste every time and location also it is very good metro is very near by which is very helpful for my office.i would like to thank pankaj and his team Mr shubham ms mamtha who provided us Good hospitality.i will visit soon again.
I was there for a conference/dinner and not staying as a guest. Despite that the staff was extremely helpful and supportive. My mobile data for some reason was not working and it was getting late and I was unable to book a cab to reach my stay place. Not only did the front desk patiently guide and help me but one of them went a step ahead and created a hotspot from his phone so that I could book a cab. There were some issues with the cab and after 3 uber mess-ups and an hour wasted, I finally got a cab. In between, not once did the staff show any signs of being annoyed or irritated. On the contrary were sympathetic, patient and helpful. Special mention of Praveen, he really went the extra mile to help a lady who was almost stranded because of cab nightmare. Thank you.
I've been to La Marvella few times as I stay in south Bangalore & always have been happy with the overall experience but today was special, I left my office in Manyata Tech Park & had to reach my home before a critical conference call but got super worried as I could not reach my destination on time due to traffic. My immediate thought was a cafe coffee day but none was their in the vicinity hence walked into La Marvella & approached their front desk with request to use their lobby. Ankitha at the front desk was very friendly & made me feel comfortable to use their lobby. Thanks so much Ankitha & La Marvella for saving my day.
One of the worst service I don't know which idiots have given 5 star Hotel permission or ranking it is not even single Star hotel, food is thrid class including staff Horrible experience
This place offer great service. If you are looking for staying for more days better book rooms online rather than check- in at the time of arraival as the rate in here are not fixed. Make sure you take all the ammenities included in rooms while booking. Don't depend on the wifi they provide. Rooms are clean.services are on call and discrete
Good place and to have a day and the food is also delicious and the management is also very good and cooperative too Over all a 4 four star would be better for this
