We booked the room and committed to certain amount which was accepted by the owner but alas when we vacated the cook locked the main gate and did not allow us to go and asked us to pay what was not committed though we had communicated in written in what's app he denied to accept
Pls be careful as both the husband and wife spoke rudely while we were leaving
It is not a worth to stay place u can better check chilli pilli resort which was far better and good
Iam regular traveller and what they did is unacceptable

Far away from the crowd. Quiet and peaceful place. Caretaker prepares tasty food. The place is in the middle of a coffee estate, full of greenary with lots of birds making melodious sounds. This is an ideal base for people visiting Coorg.

This homestay is located mid of coffee estate with lake view and approx 8.5KM from Madikeri bus stop. The food was good. If you would like to have a pleasant and peaceful Home stay i would recommend this place.

Excellent spacious stay at Coorg. For a vegetarian like me, food is a concern while travelling but this place provided so many options and everything tasted so good. Definitely visiting this place again when I'm heading to Coorg.

A wonderful place for vacation with family and friends
kids will really enjoy the environment here. They halos have a beautiful lake too, the lush greenery is a candy to the eye. The most important things is place is very cleanly maintained.
The food is really good all thanks to Kaveena he cooks delicious good food and takes good care of the guests

Very nice isolated location by the lake with an awesome caretaker, cook Kaveena. We spent 3 days and had a wonderful experience including fishing and cooking the same fish we caught.

Best homestay I've visited. Great location and surroundings. FOOD is the best! Do try the barbeque and all the special items on the list.

This is a place to visit for great hospitality by Kaveena the caretaker. Kaveenas food is extremely delicious, aromatic, healthy and must taste in your lifetime.

The place is amazing which is covered with greenary and mountains. There are rabbits you can play with them and fishing and camp fire is also available. There are so many places near. The food was amazing.

The place is situated in mid of coffee plantation and a pond beside. Well maintained property (Clean and I mean it and no bad odours).
Special mention to the host Mr. Kaveena, a very hospitable person and made our stay very comfortable in every aspect of our stay.
And the food here is just more than amazing!

Awesome place. So quite and beautiful. Its isolated, you can spend a week or so in quite and peace. We spend around 5 nights and had a lots of fun. The care taker is a great guy. Very very helpful. He arranged evevrything. Lightning fast with food and other orders. He cooked so delicious food. Overall a great experinec I will definitely go back.

The location is serene and the home stay is worth every penny. The rooms are very clean with nice staff. Food prepared by Kavina is delicious. I'm going there again for sure.

The place has been set up beautifully. If you crave for serenity and peace.this is "the" place to be. Icing on the cake is the wonderful cooking by Kaveena. He is an amazing cook, takes wonderful care of the guests. My family was thrilled to spend 3 days here. I have stayed at this place twice in the last 8 months. Had the most peaceful time at Lake Trail homestay. The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained and very clean. The property is just brilliantly located in the middle of a coffee plantation, so you can enjoy your morning coffee while walking around the plantation. It is extremely peaceful and exactly what one looks for when they want a break from the city life. Small touches around the house make the Stay even more appeasing.

What we enjoyed the most was the warm and really friendly treatment by the caretaker Kaveena. He made sure we had the most comfortable stay and would go out of his way to make sure we have a good time. To top it off he makes the most delicious food which we thoroughly enjoyed more than eating outside.

Initially I was wondering like why this place is having 5 star rating, but after being here over the weekend, I got the answer.
It's a no restrictions open n secure homestay with all amenities and good food. They are I guess new in the business but soon they will be leading for sure. Everything as more than expectations. Good going and keep up the same zeal.

This place is the perfect spot to spend your vacation. You won't feel like leaving the place and anywhere. It's more beautiful during the rain. The food served is awesome. Their service is top class.

Got to know about Lake Trial through my friend and had it booked. Reached by afternoon, Checked in and just relaxed for rest of the day enjoying the breeze, watching the birds (including a kingfisher), snack with tea and then a grand dinner with a nice rain breeze. Next day we woke up with natural alarm of birds, had breakfast and left out for site seeing. Reached back by evening and enjoyed the evening snack with tea and then dinner under the moon light enjoying the full-moon from the balcony. The balcony is thoughtfully designed to sit and enjoy the view. Next day early in the morning we took a walk around the property and outside. Had fresh guavas, watched fish feeding in the pond inside the property and then spent rest of the day outside. Finally it was time to leave and we packed back saying a goodbye to the nature. Wonderful hospitality by Kavina who is the cook and caretaker and by the owner Lokesh. Special mention about food which felt like home made. Overall it was a very memorable and peaceful stay amidst nature.

Lokesh is the owner who is placed in Bangalore, and Kaveena takes care of the house and is also the cook.

He went out of the way to make delicious meals for us. Best dishes he made were idli, Dal wada, Sambar, Neer Dosa, Veg Biryani. He also gave us authentic coorgi chicken and fish preparations. We celebrated our last night of the stay with live barbeque.

The property is spread over acres of coffee plantation. There are three lakes in front of the villa.

This is Harish from Bangalore. Stayed in Lake Trial Home stay with my family for 3 nights. Stayed in summer season. But Wonderful place to stay on rainy and winter seasons. The hospitality we received is heartwarming. The house keeper Kavina he is the best! His cooking is simply amazing. Even with in the short period of time he arranged snack for everyone and anything which you like with nice smile. Also I believe he don't have any helpers other than a grandma. He prepares pleasant food on time. The rasam and peanut masasala which he made was awesome! He is the best! Always smiling. Best place to stay at home away from home. Had a great time. Waiting for trips to stay in all 3 seasons.

Awesome Environment in the middle of coffee estate and pepper plant, food by kavina and his hospitality is really appreciable. Grill and firing facility added more value.villa was super and clean.people who travel with toddlers like me can utilize stove kettle induction all those things.kavina was helpful all the time. Got opportunity to see rare fruits plants, vegetable plants.enjoyed indoors games and fishing. Value for money.what ever mentioned in portal, actual view beyond that. Stay was cool and relaxed.will visit again.surely i recommend to my friends circle.

Best place to spend u r family vacation away from the busy city. The place is well maintained and feels close to nature. The caretaker of the place take really good care of guest with all our needs and cooks amazing local and any asked food (veg r non veg). The early morning and late evening are amazing with best views of surroundings hills. Has lots of indoor and outdoor activities to choose from for our entertainment. Overall best place and a great experience for a family and group of friends to spend a weekend r a vacation.

It's a brand new villa in the middle of a coffee estate. Being an OCD for clean stuff my criteria for clean beds and bath were satisfied. The owners are very friendly and very hospitable.we wanted to have bonfire but due to rain we couldn't sit out but the home owner arranged for Live bbq Grill with chicken and pineapple in the Gazebo area which made our entire trip memorable. We lso tried Fishing at the lake in the estate but we finished all beers but didn't catch any fish: p. Awesome exp. Must visit. Highly recommended
