I asked for a chicken burger but the dude was in a Hurry and burned the burger so see burger before you take it

I feel very unfortunate to have gone to there JP nagar outlet and ordered lake view special Sundae there were hardly any fruits in it very few pieces of pineapple and apple were found and the ice creams TASTE was ver poor, even street side shops give better quality, I being there customer for almost fifty years and was exited to visit there JP nagar out. LIFE TIME DISAPPEAREMENT.
I should think twice before visiting again.

Such a cool place this is.food served here is delicious. One of my regular spot that i visit whenever I'm in MG Road or nearby to it.

Went back here after a long time and was totally disappointed. They have completely gone down in their taste and quality. And they are priced so highly that this visit was soo not worth it and a total money waste.

Not satisfied with the menu as it’s very expensive and poor quality ice creams are served!
I don’t recommend people going here as polar bear, baskin robins and many more well known parlours also don charge as much as this Lakeview Milkbar does!
The fries that we get for 200 is not worth not even worth of ₹50 as McDonald’s and KFC are far better than this!

Highly disappointed.

We had Honeymoon Sunday ice cream and it tasted good, it was added mild dry fruits, chocolate souse etc.also try dryfruit ice cream with honey it's next level.

Its been quite sometime since I wanted to visit this place basically for their famous bubble waffles.and while the waffles were yumm, I feel it lacked proper presentation. We had ordered banoffee bubble waffle, and the taste was great. But I feel they could have given a better presentation of the same.there were 4 sliced banana pieces and a scoop of vanilla with maybe a spoon of Nutella on the side. All I'm saying is they could have been a bit more generous with the ingredients.
We had also ordered a pizza. Which was okay. The serving staff not so keen on serving. They didn't come to the table to take the order for atleast 20mins and the order took too long.and they didn't keep basic water bottle. Overall, I felt the service was not upto the mark.

The five stars is for surviving all changing trends and still going strong at the very heart of jet-setting Bengaluru! It is a name two whole generations have grown up with. The ice cream and pastry selection is great. Portions are generous, but they can tone down the sugar. They also serve sandwiches and burgers.

Crazy place for not that amazing ice creams, but for the amazing location. Opens till 1am midnight with housefull crowd.

Just going on past glory, nothing special about the ice creams here, the service and management are both extremely poor, they have no courtesy and care for customers. They are least organised and the waiters are just like they don’t care, no smile no feelings just deliver them what you order that’s all. Cleanliness is poor, had to ask they guy to clean the table but they don’t listen and care. Probably the only reason why people go there is because someone in the family told it’s a great place but in reality it’s a really poor place to go

They serve very unique sundaes and also come up with new menu for special occasions like christmas and New Years.
I beleive it is probably the oldest ice cream parlor on a very prime location in Bangalore.
A must visit place for their unique menu and quality Desserts/savouries.

The place was too crowded when we visited. We went on a sunday afternoon. We ordered bubble waffle with ice cream which was covered with maple syrup. It was delicious. The Nutella cheesecake was beyond amazing! Loved it! Will visit again.

The toasted omelet sandwich, the chicken cutlet, the cheesecake and the sundaes were very nice. Super service too. Parking was surprisingly easy and very high tech (I parked a two wheeler opposite Barton centre)

Overly hyped, not worth the price and the seller focuses on profit maximisation rather than quantity and quality. The chocolate ice cream never tasted like chocolate ice cream and it tasted like some oil. Corner house ice creams are far better and worth the price compared to this. And to my worst experience, i found 2 human hairs, and since i had taken take away and was travelling back home and having the ice cream i could not go back and address the issue.

It's happening and crowded most days. Such delicious, fresh desserts. Be it ice creams, fruit cream bowl or falooda, you will like anything you order.

Lost it's authenticity, taste is average except for newyork cheesecake. Cleanliness can be improved. Paid parking is the only option. They are open until 1: 00am though.

A classic desert shop which was open from the British era. I loved the fact that the waiters were senior citizens. Probably the management did not fire them.
The desert was also of top quality. The bubble waffle was super light and tasty! Must try if you're tired of corner House.

But it'll be usually crowded in weekends.
Price is quite high compared to other resturants.
They have many items on menu.

My family has been visiting this place for years. I've been visiting this place since my childhood. Nothing has changed. Still the tastiest, still the yummiest and still the most beautifully kept place and still the place for newly married couples to visit and have honey moon special

Taste was ok, courteous staff. The biggest downside is they charge service charge despite GST which is not right and when enquired they just argue and make you pay. Will never visit this place again only because of this illegal billing. This is a old place but losing its charm because if this cheap greediness

We had Lakeview special, it was delicious. But I think the place needs interior decor ramp up with the change in times. Looks pretty old inside.

Decent ambience, food took time though, even when it was empty. Had a decent tasting sub, bit expensive.

I really dont have any words to describe for the tasty ice cream they provide! Every time i visit the store they never disappoints me with worst food! Each time its been really goood.

And if anyone asks for recommendation of food.then try their "Bloody Mart" Its the boom of all ice cream "yummmmmmyyyyyy"

This place is absolutely a waste of time. I don't usually write reviews, but experience at this Ice cream parlor in MG road made me write a review. We went to around 10 PM in the night & they don't have anything organised. Single security guard to manage 15-20 cars, no one to take orders. If you walk-in to give an order.they don't have a queue. And then a VIP car passes by, whole management of 5-6 people looks at that side now. Just WOW and fantastic. You have to fight with people for car parking. I couldn't taste the ice cream but spoil the mood. So please avoid these kind of unorganised places to make them realise the value of customers/people.

This place is amazing. You can satisfy your late night craving here. Ice cream bowls was big enough for 2 person (normal people). Do check it out.will not disappoint you. I have ordered pizza, mutton cutlet and club sandwich and 2 set of ice cream bowls. Chicken pizza is must try. Price range is average not too low or not too high. Must visit spot in mg road at late night

Was a pleasant experience. While the ice creams and cakes were extremely average, the new York cheesecake stole the show. Absolutely delicious and decadent. It's a must try. Best cheesecake I've had in a long time.

Nice place to hang out and get the take aways from the parking lot, which is much required during this pandemic. Burgers Pizza and Sandwiches along with Ice Cream & Shakes are the preferred food. Price is on a higher side but for the late night service and taste we may opt for it

This shop sells desserts from almost 50 years. One of the oldest places to visit in Bangalore. Their club sandwich and red velvet Sunday is a must try.

I & my friends went there as it is oldest cafe in Bangalore.however was not satisfied with its taste: (chocolate milkshake was super bad icecreams tasted ok ok!

Serving timings are terrible, servers run around in chaos.servers need training, ice creams should be served in cold utensils so that it doesnt melt in 5 mins.club Sandwich was average.the manager should be helping around.instead he was sitting around cash counter.and bossing.these guys need training.

Love going here.you can get a paid parking right in front of the place and get service in the car or dine in. Amazing icecream

Icecreams tasted good, with lot of variety and options to mix and match. There is atleast one flavor for everyone.

That's about where all the good things end about this place. The ambiance has lot to desire for, very dirty walls and unclean floors. It was very very hot to sit inside and there was no proper ventilation or fans in place.

The Lakeview special was a miss, the fruits were really watery and the dish was ruined. The? Sandwiches were really dry and tasteless. This was a common complaint even other tables nearby were complaining but the management dint think so they said all breads were fresh and the dish was how it's meant to be.

See to be honest i am not satisfied by the quantity of the serving but i love the place and the quality of the food you get here.

Bad place to visit during summer, pretty hot inside. Average place to hang out with friends. Hospitality could have been better.

The place has limited seats but a huge menu to offer.we went at night after having our dinner to enjoy ice creams in this summer
They also have savoury items like pizza and sandwich
I even ordered a blueberry cheese cake which I felt was not worth the money
Rest icecreams were too yum

This is one of the oldest cafes in Bengaluru and is worth visiting with friends, family etc. Sitting area upstairs is better the ground floor. Tasty food, quantity is generous, pastries are good but the sundae options are limited if you are pure vegetarian. Ice creams are veg but brownies contain egg. Overall good hangout place.

What an experience! Just the right place for everything waffle, milk shakes, breakfast and quick bites.
Their 'Bubble Waffles' are the best I've ever had. Good portions and really pocket friendly. Highly recommended for brunch, breakfast and desserts.
My favourite: Bubble waffle 'everything Chocolate' & 'FUdge brownie' flavour.

A good place with lots of different flavors and combinations. Ice cream, fudges, brownies, pastries, pizzas and so much more!
I went with a group of friends. There's service available on first floor. The Double Sundae and red velvet cake ice cream were really good
It's bit expensive though but the ice cream is really worth it.

Drive-in on MG road.like this place, you get sandwiches, pizzas, milk shakes, ice-cream. Prefer this place whenever we go with our Jimmy on outing. Must try cheese cake, Strawberry milk shake.

This is 1 of my best place.were I offen go to have icecrm.best to place were you can experience different varieties of icecrm and other dishes here they only prepare they own icecrm with flavors it's an home based icecrm if any 1 is looking for home based or to try different varieties can just visit this place and have a good icecrm.

Very old ice cream shop, they have maintained their taste without change from many many years. But seating needs to be improved a bit.

Visited Lakeview after a long time. Was extremely disappointed, not a shade to what it used to be, whether the munches, snacks or even the ice creams. Cutlets used to be so good, but not anymore. Even the simplest of ice creams (fruit salad with icecream) was horrible. Fruits were stale and the icecream provided was orange that is bet left not described. Black Forest cake was not fresh. If you want to eat icecream, better go elsewhere. Not worth coming here even for old memories.

Good old place for Ice Cream on MG Road, mostly crowded. I felt the service was quite slow and not really the best.

If you want to go for ice -cream after the late night party, This is the place for you. You can park your car outside and order from your car.

This Milk bar has a variety of cakes, ice cream and combination. This is a place for you if you have late night ice cream craving. A bit on a expensive side but worth a visit and eventually it becomes a habit.

Ice cream menu is confusing. Names r misleading.sundaes and dry fruits were real cheat. Corner House is 1000 times better

I just put a star to write this review. I really wonder how people have come to like this 'milk bar' which is extremely uncomfortable and small in size with shabby and overworked waiters who bring non vegetarian items when we ordered a veg sub. They don't even bother to apologise. I really pity Bangaloreans that such a hotel is occupying prime space on MG Road, and because of the location and nothing else the place is supposed to be a good one. Pathetic experience 2 times, second time I even went there bcz of friends.

What more do you need on a lovely night when you crave for some sinful ice-cream. Head here and get served till late in the night. Perfect after a Long drive

I had a club Sandwich on 11th Nov 2018, at Indranagar, 100ft Road, they have given some rotten chicken in it, in 2 hrs, I had stomach upset, loose motion and fever for 2 days.
Guys, be careful of what you eat.

Extremely overpriced for what they serve. They cannot charge 120 bucks for a really ordinary scoop of ice cream just because they've been around for a 100 years. Service is just average and nothing stands out, except probably the decor. Buck up Lakeview, otherwise you're going down soon.

The staff at the billing counter is very rude. They should know how to talk and interact with the customers.
They were very rude with us as if we can't afford this place. I mean who they think they are.

A place which has and always will be frequented by generations of Bangaloreans. It's sweet, warm, welcoming and the staff will treat you like their own family. The menu incorporates old and new. It's all homemade awesome and fresh ice cream and cakes and it has the most awesome location in Bangalore.

It's quaint. It's quite clean. The Bubbly Waffle with ice cream is unique. It's world famous in India (line credit to a music channel)!
