Lali Petals Service Apartment

This is a good place if you are looking for a stay only option and explore Coorg. They arranged auto/taxi for sight seeing. Bfast was included. Check in person was helpful and accessible

It is a well maintained service apartment, however with no in house kitchen that might be an issue for some. Overall it was a good experience - you can visit with family as well as friends.

Frankly speaking, when I booked the hotel I wasn't expecting much from it, but it exceeded our expectations. A great location, just near Raja's Seat. The rooms were very big and spacious and clean. It was a memorable stay for us. Definitely recommend it for future stays.

The only problem is there is no kitchen or restaurant available, so you have to order food from swiggy or zomato or you can buy food from Madikeri Market.

Smelly rooms due to probably rain water seepage; on complaining, their solution is roomspray. Please try to fix the issues instead of hiding them.

The rooms were well maintained with basic amenities like kettle, microwave and TV. View from the balcony is one of the best amongst all hotels in Madikeri in this price range. The caretaker Trishul was extremely helpful. Would definitely come here again when visiting Madikeri.

Everything is excellent over here. They keep checking for all the things that a customer expects while he or she stays in a hotel.
They do not have a kitchen, but the food that they bring in, is really very good and is also pocket friendly.
The view from the dinning place and room balcony is amazing and they keep checks of cleanliness. Naveen is a very good manager, very polite and friendly + professional. I highly appreciate the service i got gere.

This stay was suggested by one of the waiter in a hotel and we booked it. The room was very nice, very clean. You don't have restaurant there, you can book via Zomato or swiggy and have in Dining area in 3rd floor. We stayed for 1 night and price was 4200 rs

Worst apartment. Sewage issues we saw and did not check-in only. They are so commercial that they did not refund our amount as well.

It is a good place to stay with family and friends. Actually it is an apartment like structure but looks like newly launched one. Parking place is not that big and don't have roof. The city view is awesome.

Everything is awesome except parking space. The property was not fully occupied when we visited so we could manage but we may find it difficult to get parking slot during peak season. Rooms are big and spacious, well maintained. Great views from balcony.

Stayed for 2 nights. From room we were able to see charming madikeri city. Hotel also located in quite place. Rooms are big and clean. Food you can order from Zomato as they don't have restaurant.

The Flat is spacious and can accommodate 7 Adults (if 2 can sleep on the couch)

The apartment was quite good, with a nice view from the balcony. The night view from the balcony is very beautiful.

The apartment was cleaned well and was spacious. It has one room apartments. The check in and check out process is also hassle free.
Staff here are very polite and prompt. They cater to specific needs of the guests to the best of their ability.

In the morning one can go for walking in the nearby roads and experience the morning serenity of the area making it a peaceful place.

There is also parking space available for 2-3 cars.

Its definitely RECOMMENDED!

1. Big and awesome rooms.
2. Balcony view was mesmerizing, super beautiful during sunrise.
3. Staffs are very cool and polite.
4. Location is good, on top, near to market.

I am deducting 1 here because of the following reasons.

1. In house kitchen is not available, it's a big issue because getting good food in Coorg is really tough. There are hardly 2-3 good restaurants and those are over crowded during pick time.

2. No street light or any road lamp outside the hotel gate that makes the experience little horrible during night time.

The property is right in Madikeri town, close to Raja's seat and within a few minutes of drive to most of the restaurants and tourist stops in the town.

We had opted for 1BHK room which was spacious, bathroom was clean, with excellent views from the balcony. Bathroom had a soap dispenser but didn't have body wash in it, water geyser worked fine.
The property doesn't have a kitchen but food can be ordered through Swiggy/Zomato.

One issue that we found was that the walls of the room had suffered damage and were moist and damp, which was probably because of the recent bout of heavy rains in the area (July 2022).

This is a serviced apartment, at such a beautiful location that you can see the complete Coorg town and valley from your balcony. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The cleanliness is very good and standard of fittings and fixtures is immaculate. The dining hall on top floor has beautiful view again, and the management has provided fridge, microwave etc at the same place. My only crib is that there's no cooking facility. I understand that its a small property and hence won't be economical for the hotel to cater for all meals. However, they can provide basic things such as readymade coffee, tee, some bread-omelette etc of course. Secondly, the hotel should tie up with one particular good restaurant towards catering for meals for the guests.anyways, the crib aside, I can say that this has been one of the most memorable stays that I had. This property is strongly recommended for any travellers looking at staying in a budget accommodation without making any compromise. Also, its very close to Raja's seat.

Rooms are very very spacious and quite clean. View is awesome both from room and dining area. But they need improvement in service. They don't have inhouse restaurants so food could be a problem in monsoon since you are dependent only on delivery.
As we visited during monsoon and heavy rain, very frequent power cuts. They had power back up but used to switch it off and only power on the generator if you ask them. Same goes for wifi. I observed they switch off the WiFi every now and then. When u ask they make it on. Their manager Trishul is a good person whom you can ask information on cabs etc. His cousin brother who provides can service is a very nice person to take taxi service to travel to other cities.
Overall good hotel to stay but only problem is with service which I think we faced because we went in monsoon season during heavy rain and they didn't had much guests then so were not giving much attention on service.
Need improvement there. You should give attention even if there is a single guest staying at your place.

The place is new and scenery from the top is ausum.and rooms are very clean and tidy.
Lot of parking space and staff is cooperative.

First time tried something different than hotels and opted for Service apartment. Along with the benefits, there were few drawbacks.

Pros - the room was huge and aptly an one bed room apt, only the kitchen was missing. The view from the balcony was amazing. Parking space avbl for 3-4 vehicles. Trishul and Mithun were super cordial and helpful.

Cons - No power backup. AC servicing not done which led to noise whenever AC was on. And above all, since they did not have a kitchen, they got breakfast from outside and the menu only stuck to dosa, idli and tea/coffee. No bread butter or eggs available and we had to specify the quantity beforehand for them to get it from a nearby hotel.

We opted for a two bedroom room. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. One bedroom had a balcony with a view. The host was very welcoming and made our stay a memorable one

Got very good brand sanitary hardware. Got good ac if needed. Room is well furnished. Got a good balcony. It's pretty classy rooms. Ok. Good hospitality. It's got a common dining area. Over all its a good place it's a luxurious choice.

The accommodation was top notch and the amenities were at par with any 3 star hotel. However the breakfast was a downside since it's ordered from a restaurant based on what you wish to eat, though this is not a major itch, but can be worked upon. Overall, we had a memorable time in Lali Petals, and the added bonus is that the property sits on a slightly elevated place which gives you an excellent view of the town underneath.

Initially, we were a bit sceptical about staying at Lali Petals, however, I can frankly say it was a great experience staying there.
The staff is very cooperative, polite and helpful in all our requests and needs.

If people plan to stay in Madikeri, I can say that you will definitely enjoy staying at Lali Petals.

It's location is also very optimal. It's very close to Madikeri town, but still its location on Stewart hill makes it as close to nature as possible while still not far from city's convenience.

Great view from the balcony. They provide a quick service and also are very humble. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Coorg. All the sightseeings are close to this place.

It's a nice place to be in madikeri. Staff is helpful and we'll mannered. View from hotel is awesome. I am bit unhappy with price of deluxe room. It should be 2000 around and not 3000 something.

It's a place with a mesmerizing view and the service of the staff is preety good all the required stuff was available.

Hotel is nice, with clean and spacious room. The staff is courteous. The best thing about the hotel is the view! You can see the sunrise right from the balcony. The only drawback is the hotel does not have kitchen, but you can order online/the hotel staff can get it for you. Overall good place to stay, but a bit expensive.

This hotel is vary good.the interiors and maintaining vary clean. The management is vary friendly and they have good basic facilities for there customers, the hotel is on the top of the town and the view from this hotel is awesome, the hotel is built with quality and branded with customers comfortable, I like the quality of this hotel, but there is no inbuilt restaurant in the hotel

The place is very new and the 1bhk apartment is very spacious. They give u microwave, hot water kettle and sink so u can make ur own microwave meal.

The view from the window is splendid. Mind it they don't have a kitchen so it is best you carry ur own food from the city. Swiggy does deliver but many a times the delivery man has difficulty finding the location as it's not yet popular.

We stayed here for three days. The caretaker is not aware of how to clean the room as he often forgets to change the towels, refill the tea tray, and bathroom supplies. Plus he didn't change the bedsheets despite reminding him. Hence I took one star.

Perfect stay. Best view from room.staff is very well trained for customer satisfaction. Hotel is around 1km away from Bus depo. They don't have in-house restaurant. I suggest them please add your in-house restaurant. Thanks for great service and hospitality.

Loved the place. The location is also at a height so a panaromic view of the city is visible at all times. The rooms are also big spacious and very clean.

I personally don't like the spring beddings so that was a little off for me, but that's just a personal thing (it was not bad just that i prefer it less).
The staff was also very helpful and good.
And if your tired and don't want to go out u can order food (swiggy) delivers.
The only downside is that if u have a vehicle then it's good as it's a little far away from the market (roughly 1/2hr) unless your a walker and easily walk around that much.
All in all definitely a worth visiting.

An amazing place to stay near the town yet away from its hustle bustle. We could witness the beautiful view of Madikere from our room. Though they don't provide lunch/dinner but their dining space on third floor provides an astounding panaromic view of the area. The rooms were also spacious n clean. It would be nice if the walls of some room are renovated otherwise all rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 guests easily. The staff here, especially the young caretaker, was really cooperative n kind. It was a pleasant stay at this abode.

We stayed here coz we did not get a room in KSTDC valley view. But I can say that the rooms are better than KSTDC. Way better. The view from the balcony at night was magical. With the city lights covered lightly by fog. The bathrooms are very clean and the rooms are huge and the beds are cozy. Plus its jus 5mins from the valley view restaurant which is the best bar attached restaurant with a lovely view. Stay at Lali Petals n drink at valley view!

They provide quality accomodation at nominal cost. Its located on a hill top and you can see the whole town lit up in the night. There is enough parking available and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious enough to accommodate four people. They have a sofa cum bed and bathrooms are also very clean. The staff are all very co operative. Raja's seat is at walking distance and they have a dining hall at the top floor

The views from the bedrooms are nice and I can see the city from the balcony. Both Naveen and Thrishul the manager were cordial and welcoming. They suggested a lot of good places to visit. We had a lovely stay at Lali Petals. With courteous and prompt staff. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Great view from the balcony. Very close to the city and hence easily accessible. They do not have a in house restuarant but are quiet prompt in delivering and serving any food item you order. The dinning room on roof top has amazing ambience and one can see the entire view of madikeri city which is mindblowing. We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

I had gone with my family to Madikeri in Coorg last week and it was an excellent place. I would really like to recommend you to go and stay in Lali Petals. It is an excellent place to stay. It has very good rooms which are not costly at all. It has excellent room service and very cooperative staff. They also arrange for local drivers to take you for the trip. It has good parking space and excellent view from the rooms. They also provide complementary breakfast. Thanks to Trishul sir, the manager of Lali petals for arranging for the accommodation.
