Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel

Rooms are good. Well maintained for an old palace ground. Service is a bit slow but rest is all fine. All the staff is well behaved.

A very nice palace located not far from Chamundi Hill. There are several picturesque spots inside and outside the building. The place is so beautiful. One can definitely see why so many movie directors chose to shoot their movie at this location.

Rooms are average, pls go for it only if your getting it for under 4k, you can find better options in Mysore for that budget otherwise. Poorly maintained rooms by Jungle lodges staff are courteous.

It was an amazing experience in LMPH. Palace is well maintained. Food was awesome (bit expensive).

The food doesn't justify the beauty of this place. The service and food was extremely bad. Really very disappointed with this place.

We went there for visiting as a touriss they charging re 500 per head but duplicate bills so they gate keeper steal the money and for horse raiding same. RS 100 per head but no receipts they steal the money from you

Do not visit for sightseeing.most of the palace areas are closed for visitors.nothing to see.palace is closed only hotel is their.don't go

The food was really bad. Noodles was stale and everything we ordered felt smelly. Didn't like the service at all. The waiting time at the restaurant was too long. Never thought a heritage hotel had such a bad service and food. If this continues this place will be just for it's Ambience and not food. Really very very dissatisfied.

Just visited with the visitor pass so not sure about the rooms and overall property.
But I think they didn't renovating it due to of it's legacy and history.
But you can visit and enjoy the free coffee/tea and cookie

Overall had a great experience. Would recommend it to everybody. You cant get this kind of experience with the package they offer anywhere else. Full on mighty experience without burning large whole in your pocket.

A piece of Royalty! Entry fee is 100 Rs per person. They have buffets on the weekends. Decent food with a beautiful dinning hall. Food was nice and staff are very friendly. Give it a try!

Built in the year 1921, Lalitha Mahal is the second largest palace in Mysore. It was built at the orders of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV of Mysore for stay of the then Viceroy of India.
Really a must visit place when to come in Mysuru.

Hotel is well maintained inside and outside such as Gardens.
Food spread was very less for the price tag. Disappointintment did not stop there as the availability of food was very limited and wait time was long.
Overall a bad experience.

Very nice rooms, courteous staff, very nice breakfast. Ala Carta items are little costly. Good room service. This was once a place where mysore king, s guests use to stay. Very good atmosphere. Lot of parking place. Try once.

A 20th century Palace heritage Hotel in Mysuru. Good place to visit/stay for outsiders looking forward to a Royal feel type of a stay and also the hotel is surrounded with lush greenery & hundreds of trees! Beautiful place even for photography or videography as it's got amazing garden-flowers all around. Entry fee is 100/- rupees and you can use your mobile phones for photo/video. If you want to use your Cameras then you gotta take permission from the office to do so.
All in all it's a good place and I liked my visit.

Nice property it's actually a place which built by maharaja Mysore it's good property with nice atmosphere very peaceful environment beautiful garden beautiful structure very peaceful property staff is very cooperative but there is issue in wifi it's not continue work and also network problem in property otherwise best property in MYSORE lovely place lovely atmosphere you can feel like a special property needs to upgrade there washroom no hot water in bathtub only shower have hot water supply. Best property in MYSORE for mental peace.

Places are fine. I don't like the food they served. Room services are ok ok type. The backside of mahal, is good. But there is no place to sit and enjoy that.

We spent a half day and was worth! Enjoyed tea with snacks. It was indeed a royal feeling. Moment spent were like historic tour to our glorious past! A beautiful place to spend with family and friends.

It has a lovely garden and lot of open space around to ensure a peaceful stay and definitely gives a royal Feeling BUT maintenance of the premise is below average. Coming to the Food we had ''Authentic Mysore Thali" (Rs 778 per Thali including Tax) which was basically a Typical Shanti Sagar Thali (Bangalore Folks will get it). Even the free breakfast you get is just OKAY. So one can avoid the in-house Kitchen and just enjoy the stay.

Away from the Mysore city at the foot hills of Chamundi lies is the Lalitha Manual Palace situated. Awesome grand palace with economic package. Maintenance needs to be upgraded.

Only the ground floor is accessible for a fee unless you stay at the hotel. The entry ticket can be exchanged for coffee or redeemed against the food bill at the restaurant though.

Ambience is good as it is palace. Buffet spread is very limited and surprised to see limited staff and they were not even refilling food.

The stars are dying here. Badly managed I think, rooms stinks. Especially food is horrible. Staff are rude.

Go there if you don't find anything available.

Best place for people who love photoshoot. 100Rs is the entry fee. They only accept cash so make sure you carry some cash. I would suggest to accept online payments as there's no ATM nearby. You will also get coffee or tea if you give the coupon inside as it is complimentary. Best place for couples and family. They also have accommodation facility. Try and enjoy the royal treatment

It is a beautiful place to stay, royal ambience! Dinner was only buffet (someone should have informed while checking in) and could order a la carte only in the room but not in the restaurant, which i could not understand why. Overall good experience!

Had been to the restaurant for snacks post 4pm on a weekend. We ordered masala dosay. Food was decent enough but the quality was similar to any regular darshini hotel, was not upto what we expected. The staff were very courteous which is a plus point. The ambience was good. However the overall maintenance needs lot of improvement. During our walk in the garden, we visited the pool which wasn't cleaned since ages & the walking path was not well maintained. The place is neither too great nor too bad, you may visit once. Remember if you are visiting the restaurant you have to pay Rs. 100/- per person at the security entrance by cash. This amount shall be adjusted in your overall bill.
