Delicious foods, Thali was not to the mark as to expectations, not worthy. Else foods are of delicious. Had chapathi and chicken dishes. Sitting too in traditional style. Great ambience. Can improve lil bit with service and foods too. Parking a bit problems for more than 2 cars. Easy to locate.

You will laugh like budhha while going into restaurant.but you will definately cry while coming out.

I have visited the restaurant by seeing the reviews. But there is no lake view or river view.its just a small restaurant with Mandi kind of seating. Food is good and the price per person is around 250 to 400 and attached to the menu for reference. I felt that it is over rated.

After govt demolished all hotels in hippie island, this place restarted in sanapur village.though inside Ambience is good, I felt for 120 Rs I could get atleast a good amount of cappuccino. It's not even like a full cup. I got like half in the pic of cup I posted. Good place and small one. Wish the govt didn't demolished the previous one.

Food is decent here but not worth the price I would say!
Nothing much to say about this place.

Amazing veg food (red sauce pasta, falafel and pizza) the food took some time but was really fresh and amazingly flavoured pasta sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. Falafel was decent but the hummus was too good and pizza was handmade and fresh. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and would suggest you visit this place if you are ever around Anjanaadri Temple.

We have been here just as a pit-stop and had lunch. The place is awesome, food was average and a little expensive comparatively and the view is very nice. So overall a great experience

Very chilled ambiance, great view and food. It's bit crowded on weekends. Service is bit slow so have patience.

This restaurant is a must visit when on the hippie island.you can literally see the river from this place and it has the most gorgeous sunrise & sunset views.with the vitthala temple in the background.perfect place to chill & eat. The service is damn slow. But the ambience is such that you wont mind.

It has a few cottages for accomodation.not in great shape.but okay to just spend the night. I stayed here in the last week of feb2020.

Turns out the govt is planning to destroy all d businesses running here as they are illegal.do check out before you plan on staying here.

The food was awful. In the name of hot chocolate drink, they give hot water with chocolate syrup. Pancakes was like Pita which we eat at home. Staff doesn't know what to response if u complain for their food. One star is only for ambience and location which I can say it's one of the best in Hampi.

Ambiance is very nice. Food is amazing but service is bit slow. View from the cafe is also amazing.

What a gem! Such a wonderful view of Hampi from across the river. Was a lovely ferry ride and short walk to get there. Coffee was superb! Would be a great place to eat or even stay.

I wanted to do nothing. And when I got there, it was the perfect place to do nothing. Just peace. Loved the cats and the staff and the place. It's not a 5 star, just a get away. Would stay here again 12/10.

This was the best cafe which we visited during our stay in Hampi. Visited other top reviewed restaurants too but this one is best in all aspects be it food be it service or the ambience.
A nice view of Vittala temple with river and ferry boat is seen from this cafe. Almost all cafes in Hampi have sitting arrangement on the ground with small heighted tables, at least all which I visited. The food and the drinks are good. And yes they have rooms to stay also which are good too but they have only 6rooms so need to book early.

This is the best place for a meal on the Hippie Island side of Hampi!
I have been going & staying here since I found this place waay back in 2014!
However, in the last 6 years a LOT has changed in the crowds that come to Hampi and in Hampi itself!
I do not get the same feel as I did in my most recent visit as I have in the last few years!

But few pointers -

1. It is not kid or family friendly, you will not like the place nor will we like you! This place is to sit by the river, relax, have decent food, listen to good music. I have literally fallen asleep so many times!
So if you have a cranky baby or in groups that are loud and going to ruin the vibe of the place - do everyone a favour and don't go!
2. The food is average, however, compared to the food you get generally in Hampi - it's quite decent.
3. Service is slow - just spend time admiring the view or catching up with your friends
4. Lots of flies, mosquitoes in the evening - carry odomos/bug repellent!
5. Lot of people smoking and no separate areas, so if you're not comfortable with it do check!

Please do check if the place is still open - High Court orders are to shut all places on Hampi Island.

Yeah. No. If you're a white hippie, go ahead, you'll like the vibe and enjoy your time here. But if you're an actual traveler or tourist, avoid this place. Sure the view is nice, but you're don't want to spend longer than 10 minutes here. Service is meh and food is overrated. WiFi password is: omnamahashivaya

Good place to relax. Just sit and relax back. Food is tasty. And view is just awesome. Best during night, but the day offers river view!

This place is over rated. The better food and set up is available at many places on Hampi with better service. The waiters have throw lot of weight around. The food quality depends on the number of orders, of more people, food cooked in haste and hurry can spoil your vacation. And waiting for 1.5 hours for your food can be an unforgettable experience.

Loved this restaurant. Just besides the river bank and in front of the virupaksha temple. You'll have quality time here.

Seeing the reviews, we decided to stay there. We had gone there on a long weekend in November, but it was a total disappointment. Very few people visit here during day time, and negligible crowd during the night. It was a dull place compared to other places on the main road. The music was not good at all. And no variety in food and beverages. Also, both food and drinks are costly than other places. One time visit during the day is fine just for the view.

Really nice food, not the cheapest but it's also one of the few places with good wifi.
There's also a lot of chill area and nice view to the river.

A well-known restaurant at Kiskinda side of the river Tungabhadra. Nice ambience and riverside view, foods are also awesome!
