My brother was quite sick from a week with constant fever, body pain, vomiting and severe dehydration, we visited local hospital and the doctor adviced for admission with constant IV ANTIBIOTICS And IV FLUIDS. Since we didn't had any insurance we hesitated to go for admission because of the expense presented to us by the hospital. Now at this situation one of my close friend asked us to take a second opinion from Dr. BHAVYA BHAT where she was already consulting from a long back. I generally don't go for someone we don't know but since my friend adviced we visited Dr. BHAVYA. Doctor was sweet, and she understood all the problems, she took brief history and explained us the diagnosis and prognosis of the situation, she even gave a good psychological hope to my brother at which he was feeling much better after the visit itself. Medicine was something secondary which helped him but for us primary thing was the understanding the condition and having a psychological hope. She prescribed handful of medication and antibiotics and advised for some basic tests for ruling out common infection and told us to visit her after the reports. My brother was way more better after leaving the Doctor's cabin after talking to her and he was quite better after the first few days of medication. We anyhow did tests and everything was normal except he just had typhoid. He is much better and active now without being admitted in hospital.
I really thank DR. BHAVYA for the quality of care she have given to my brother whether it's medically or psychologically.
