One best collection of books for children. If not big place like regular book store, collections books for kids is awesome, truly a must visit for budding & cute book worms.
Excellent collection of books that you won't find even in big book stores such as Sapna. Very unique collection of Pop-Up books and all kinds of creative books
Lovely little book store with an interesting range of books for little ones. Although a bit pricey, I definitely appreciate the effort put into curating a collection of diverse topics in children's literature including collections from Indian and international authors. Thank you:)
Lightroom in Cooke Town is a quaint bookstore and is an excellent place for books for children. A wide selection of subjects and topics from authors both Indian and international. A must-visit to get children interested in reading, it can get adults hooked onto books too.
Friendly and helpful staff. They obliged our request to stay open another 30-45 minutes cause we got there later than planned. Didn't try to rush us or coax us to hurry up (though we did our best to finish up soon). Their resident cat was most obliging with my 7 year old and they spent most of our visit cuddling. Great place to bring the kids if you want to build their interest in books.
Just paradise for childrens' book lovers. No where will you find such a well curated set of books in one place. The owner lends the space a personal touch by understanding the kind of book you or the kid might be interested in and the options are all delightful. Visit lightroom for simply the experience of laid-back, old world book store feel. Such spaces need all the support they can get!
Visited this place along with my sister Huge collection of books which are creative and thought provoking Unlike other traditional book stores it has got exceptionally amazing books Best place to buy book for kids Must visit
PS: books are bit expensive But yes they are definitely worth
It's the best curated store for children's books in Bangalore. Small with an excellent collection of both foreign and Indian publishers. The girl in the store was very helpful and knowledgeable.
While the store has a good range of books, the staff is really unhelpful and not well informed. I have been here twice and the response was the same both times.
Primarily it's a book store is focused to young readers. Has plenty of good novels, books, activity books from Indian and foreign publishers, limited collection of clothes and stationary too. Perhaps I haven't looked through all the shelves, but I noticed even some books which aren't targeted at just young readers. And though it's popularity as children's book store, one (belonging to any age group) should just walk into this store to tickle their sense about reading. Since in the present age of smart devices and computers, we do see everyone losing their hobby/ discipline of reading.
