Little banana homestay

We had a good time staying at this homestay. It's hut like rooms with good hygiene. Service was good.

I had wonderful experience staying here. If you are looking for peace, silence and farm experience then this would be your perfect choice. Rooms are clean and spacious and the entire compound is green with lots of flowers. Deva and Varsha owner of house are super host and they took care of us very well. Also the food cooked by Varsha was very traditional and delicious. They introduced us to Ranjit who owns Auto Rick, Ranjit is awesome guide and friendly person which made our trip more memorable.

We had a great stay. Food was the best, we can have homely food if choose to stay. Surrounding is very nice. I would recommend this stay anytime

It was amazing stay, the host were really good felt more like home, request host varsha to make food, food is so homely hygiene and tasty! Overall, stay was cozy, comfortable and luxury, well cleaned and maintained property️

I stayed here for a week (because I kept extending). Set amongst banana farms, it’s the perfect retreat where you find yourself waking up to the sound of birds in the morning. Devraj and his wife are sweet, and it really felt like an authentic homestay. I found the Wi-Fi also to be fast (if you need it for work). Highly recommend!

A good place and quite one covered by trees and sugarcane fields. Nice simple rooms for simplicity. Outside ambience is nice to sit and relax. Host is also helpful. Food is not available, we need to walk 10 mins to a restaurant with no street lights. Only veg restaurant available nearby. Host can cook non veg food but needs to book in advance.

Overall was good experience staying in this place.

A simple homestay, with great service and hospitality. Very clean rooms and washrooms. The food they provide is healthy and tasty. The owner makes sure to take care of every need to make your stay comfortable.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Such a comfortable, clean, cozy and safe stay. Very near (around 2 kms) to the heritage places like Vijay Vitthala Temple, Virupaksha Temple and nearby places. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Plus delicious food cooked by Varsha. Highly recommended.

Essential ingredients of a good stay is the natural ambience, food and people. Little Banana homestay exceeded our expectations on all of them.

As we neared the homestay, it became apparent that it would be a place we will enjoy. Entrance is thru a sugarcane field and which gives way to the tastefully done property. It has multi-level lawns with trees, flowering plants and seating places for a conversation. The rooms are clean, large enough with running hot water and Wi-Fi.

The hosts outlook to hospitality is to consider guests as an extension of their family, essentially, we never got the feeling of the stay being a ‘transaction’, as it is with hotels. Fireside conversations with chai, food and music were an evening ritual. Do not miss out on the truly authentic and simply cooked food from Asha. Ask nicely and she might indulge you in showing her cooking skills. Devraj gave us plenty of guidance on how to plan our time and things to do. Ranjit, will recount his life’s experiences and beliefs, which were epic.

For those who haven’t done homestays before, do remember it is family run and they will show care, provided the guest do so too.

Overall, the place is run by a sweet family, is bounding with greenery, chirping of birds, and blissfully quiet and peaceful. For us city-folks, this was rejuvenating.

Beautiful property to spend time with family or with small group of friends, property owner & his daughter is very friendly & kind people. At morning they play good melodies which are soothing for the ears & in evening entire area is illuminated by lights with dim lights so environment looks beautiful. Garden is full of flowers & trees which are well maintained & set perfectly where they should be. No noise or disturbance from surrounding as their are banana and sugarcane plantation all around. Hampi is just 10 min away from the location & you can get auto easily at their gate. Most important their washroom & rooms are clean, well maintained. Bonfire was really awesome.

The Host and the her daughter Asha is extremely welcoming and friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience.

Very nice stay amidst the nature and banana farm. Tasty food and good hospitality by Varsha (caretaker and owner).

Little banana was without a doubt one of the best home-stays I ever stayed in. The whole property was breathtakingly beautiful and close to nature. We were in awe the moment we stepped in. The garden is well maintained and adds a unique charm to the place.

Another big factor which made our stay the best was the hosts. Devraj bhaiya was helpful, always addressing our queries and also took us around in his auto during our stay. Varsha didi and her home cooked meals are something you shouldn’t miss. Thanks a lot to them for going out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

I would recommend this place to everyone who actually wants to discover Hampi, we have enjoyed a lot, beautiful environment, the couples who stay there are awesome and kind, we miss you Misha, you will not face any issue in terms of anything, all facilities and travel destinations are very close to this place, if you like photography then you are at heaven.overall its too good.

Absolutely beautiful, calm & cosy place that's jst about 2-3km away from Hampi! Was referred by a friend, when we made plans to visit Hampi few days back and by the time we could reach it was late in the night, yet the wonderful host n owner of the place Deva and his lovely wife so warmly welcomed and also we got to relish home made simple meal (on prior booking). It's a cosy little place, well maintained with beautiful garden that's led in through a banana plantation! Only glitch is, as of now there's just 4 cottages available, hence prior booking on call is advised. Rest else is just amazing, home cooked food is available on prior booking. An affordable stay whether you visit with family or friends.

The little banana is a beautiful and a peaceful place to stay. Its reasonable, simple and has so much greenary around. The food served is tasty, rooms are beautiful neat and well maintained. We stayed there for 3 days and it was positive pleasent. Will surely suggest on staying here for relaxation peace.

We stayed for three nights. Nice place, 9 km away from Hospet, Located inside a small banana plantation. The food was very nice and homely. Host was very courteous. Host is planning for Power back-up in case of power failures. Over-all nice stay.

The best homestay I have stayed in by far. They have a farm with bananas, papayas and a beautiful lawn and garden where you can spend the whole day and night (with bonfire) if you want to. There are beautiful open fields across the road and the main heritage site (Hemakutha hill, Virupaksha temple) is just a 1 km walk too.

The best part is the people. Since we went in August 2020 when most restaurants were closed, finding this was a blessing. The owner Devraj and his family keep a safe distance while ensuring you have everything you need. The food was delicious & we ate all our meals there.

A really beautiful homestay in the midst of the serene background of Hampi. Devaraj and his family were very warm and welcoming. We were also treated to farm fresh vegetables and fruits. Just a 1km walk to the main heritage site. It's an ideal location

Very nice and lovely place. Calm and peaceful ambience in the midst of a small banana plantation. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hosts were lovely and we also enjoyed delicious fruits home grown in the lovely garden.delicious Papayas and passion fruits. Very close to major tourist spots in Hampi as well. Only difficulty was the lack of sign board outside the premises made it difficult to locate the place at first. The hosts gladly offered us good directions over the phone which helped a lot. The friendly locals also helped us in locating the place.
