We contacted Lodestar to know about the career and course options for my son after he completes his 12th. We had an initial meeting with Lodestar person who explained the process in detail and the charges. We were then assigned to a senior career counsellor Ms. Remya who guided us through the whole process comprising of an assessment and a discussion based on the report. There were 2 rounds of discussion in which we were given choices of courses to opt from based on the initial assessment report and the interest area of my son. She also helped him to narrow down his search to a few courses that he can pursue and the details of the institutions offering those courses. She has been helpful in providing some of the other informations related to the quota system available for the NRI students. The service offered by Lodestar was prompt, helpful and in detail. I would recommend Lodestar as a complete solution for any parent who is looking for the best career/course for their children.

I think the lodestar career guidance is just excellent. First of all the programme is making you aware of so many careers, then the councellor Ms Amrita Mishra is so well skilled to talk to children and guide them the best career, they can do, without hurting their sentiments. She is also teaching them to reason out, what they want to opt and then take a right decision. I think it was worth to choose loadstar career guidance for my daughter.

It was okayish, I didn’t really got a clarity about anything i think we should be connected to the councillors who know abt the genre. And aren’t just there talking and making a conversation.
I feel it was a total waste of money but still the good part is that my councillor didn’t bore me to aborting the call midway.

She helped my daughter to identify her main interest n strength and make a right choice for her next level of education.

Post Grade 10, it is but obvious that many kids are stuck with the choice of subjects to take. While my daughter was fixed with the Science stream, she still wasn't sure, of what her 'calling' was, in the gamut of options present out there today.
The Counsellor from lodestar beautifully guided our daughter here. Through Lodestars' in depth analysis and counselling, it helped identify certain areas of interest and where our daughter is capable to excel.

I had a great experience with lodestar career counseling. I really appreciate the effort my counselor took to not just understand my strengths academically but also understood me on a more holistic level with the help of their very well designed aptitude tests and interaction with my parents. Have used this service for both of our children. Elder one three years ago in his 10th and for our younger one recently when he finished his 9th. Satisfied in both cases as it helped the children explore the different options with all relevant details, and lead to a clear plan for their 11th and 12th subject choices. Most important it helps the children make an informed choice.

We went to lodestar with our daughter towards the end of grade 9 for career guidance after hearing about them at our school. In the discussions, we were exposed to various areas and career paths. While my daughter was unable to decide her interest at that time, it exposed her and us to various areas. When we reached out to them later at the end of 11th when exposure to subjects during 10th and 11th gave her more clarity, they were accomodative and went out of the norm to go through the options again. Their commitment to the student and helping figure out their career path is commendable.

Every student has one or the other hidden talents.and they have strenghts and weaknesses.one cannot take one's life as a failure if he doesn't become an engineering graduate.as there are plenty of upcoming fields to excel.parents should make use of such expert sessions and boost the morale of the students instead of criticizing and discouraging them.these kind of services are unheard few years back.it's greatly helpful to the students to have exposure to the expert advice.so that they can set their goals and ambitions in life

I am not sure if they are fake or not but I have never seen an organization calling an employee to join after recruiting them, gives userid and password but due to salary constraints unable to rollout the offer letter. Please don't call yourself an employer when you can't decide things prior offering a job to a candidate. Also, a text isn't enough to say we have hired someone else for the profile. You guys should be apologetic to what you have done and don't make fake promises when you can't hire an ideal candidate.

A small investment for the future of your child. They study the child and suggest career path according to the inclination, interests and abilities.

I had a very bad experience at Lodestar. Their approach is mainly to provide career options rather than concentrate on the child's abilities and interests.
Like other career counselling companies, Lodestar does not provide a detailed report on the child. This results in a lot of confusion in the child's mind.

I would'nt suggest Lodestar to any parent and child. Counselling techniques are not for the new age generation.
