Lotus Beach Resort

We stayed in the resort for 2 days with family. The entire experience was awesome. The rooms are spacious and well maintained except small issues which can be ignored. Very near to the beach. Less than 100 meters.

The challenging part is to reach the hotel. Car parking is around 500 meters from the hotel. Very narrow lane from parking to the hotel.

All the other hotels has the same trend for car parking.

It's not a resort first of all.
There's no road to this resort.u have to walk from 1 parking point to resort.
There are snakes on that way, luckily we escaped.

Only advantage is - 2 mins walk and u r in kudle beach.

Amazing place to stay. Just one minute walk from Kudle beach. The staff is very polite and the services are good.

The only drawback is the parking and the walk to the stay. Slight off-road trail, great if you're a hiking enthusiast.

I am not satisfied with this hotel food department, for 1 order wating too much of time to serve, I never seen this type of service, very bad experience with me

Above all… the owner is rude. The property is not beach facing. This is not a resort at all. No kitchen. Worst experience so far. Only 1 staff but he was helpful.

Decent rooms in Kudle beach. Quick access to the beach. However, access to the resort was tricky and hard to find initially.

Service provided by staff was great. I had a sprained ankle. He went n bought us items from the medical on request.

Haven't stay there because they did not lift the call and also refund has not been issued.don't go this resort when you visit gokarna

Good resort but wifi wasn't speed enough and we didn't get hot water in the morning time the hot water was available after 12 but the good part was it's 2 min away from kudle beach which has great restaurants and sea view.

Staff was not professional. Too much greedy. They take 2-3 hours time even for water bottles, towels and soap.

Ambience: It looks like a old house which needs a renovation. Bathroom tabs does not work at all. AC problems.

I don't recommend this at all. Instead stay home if you are not getting any other property.

Property is good but not well maintained.rooms have broken down toilet, no hot water, bed sheets are pilled and spent an itchy night.

The location is pathetic. There is a very narrow lane to reach to property by walking almost 400 mtrs. Same to reach to the beach.
They don't care about the service as they are pretty much sure no1 would return to this property once experiencing their hospitality.

Pros: clean and neat rooms, good service, near to beach 80m. Kitchen Sea food on order was good.
Cons: No parking available, need to walk through narrow trails in slush, no street lights, no to Chinese food. Elders not suitable.

Good part is I left my card pouch mngt called me informed returned back every thing intact

A great place in Gokarna to stay. Rooms were neat and clean. Very near the beach. The distance of the resort from parking place might cause difficulty for senior citizens.

Everything about the resort is trash. From the staff to basic courtesy, everything is bad. There are no accessible roads to the place so, ordinary commute becomes very difficult. The only good thing would be the ease of access to the beach. The "complimentary breakfast" turned out to be not-so complimentary since we had to pay for all dishes except the standard dish which wasn't informed to us beforehand. The rooms were average at best. The manager is not friendly to deal with and needs to be improved.

Loved the stay here. Polite staff and clean rooms. Kuddle beach is pretty near the hotel at a walking distance of 100 -200 metres. You can see the beaches from tje rooms! The only demerit is motorable roads. After parking you will have to walk for about 500 m to reach the hotel. Overall had a good experience.

Way to the rooms, you have to walk. Carry the luggage. Difficult for elderly and children. Very nice private beach. Lovely location.

Even if it is located inside farms, difficult to reach but very near to kudle beach and spacious rooms.

Location is very deep but staff were helpful to onboard with luggages to the resort.
Best thing is, it is near to beach like by walk you can go to beach back from resort directly. Hardly it is 200m walking distance.
Staff behaviours were good at service and satisfying the customer requirements.

Such a worst experience that we had. Pathetic customer service, the moment we entered they started giving a different response. Please don’t suggest or visit this place ever.

I am giving 1 Star only because there is no option to give a ZERO. It's in the middle of nowhere and there is no road to get to this property. You have to go on an adventurous ride to get there and then you have to walk through narrow paths and paddy fields. Over priced property with no facilities at All. Worst experience ever.

If you don't have any option then only book this hotel. We have stayed 2 nights there, AC doesn't work, fan works very slowly. Manjunath who takes booking etc he is very unprofessional, he will take booking for AC room and he will provide you Non AC room, if you complain about this, he will simply say. Sir plz adjust or I will refund you.he knows very well that guest will not have option for another hotel etc.

Worst place to stay and no safety roads to reach the hotel. No parking service also u need to pay and park and walk through a dirty path to reach the hotel.

Kindly avoid going to this property, worst room, overpriced, and there's no way to go to hotel from beach or road, very bad location. Owner is very rude. Please don't waste money by staying here.

Guys please don't book in this hotel, here the owner Mr. Manjunath taking advance and then he cheat the customers by not fulfilling what he commits. Don't believe in such money mongers.

Room is average. Bed sheet was not clean. But the service was excellent. They changed the bedsheets immediately. They helped to carry our luggage to hotel which was far from the parking slot and didn't even take tips from us.

Hot water is available from solar only. No electric water heater.
There is no parking for Resort. You have to park your vehicle in private parking which is 5 min away from resort with Rs. 100 charge daily.

Staff was nice but the overall comfort is missing.no value for money.over costed with 4k per night.room lack of good furniture.lot of construction happening.no restaurant.not much of Dish channels subscribed.parking is either paid and still around 500 m away or free and on hill top.while palolem beach being just 2 hrs away not much lucrative to stay at kudale beach and that too in lotus beach resort.

Its not a resort its an ordinary hotel. AC works but only on single temparature there is no AC remote. Fan doesnt work. Room service on call not available. The price for rooms are too much for the kind of service they provide.

It a worst resort for following reasons.
1. It is not a resort. At best it is a small hotel.
2. There is access road to the resort. It is surrounded by other properties and you have to park vehicle on road side and for that also you will have to pay as it is some one else's road.
If you are with family and lot of luggage then you can't reach this property. Best thing is they send boys to collect tour luggage and bring you to this lodge else you won't reach at all.
3. There is no single sign board to guide you to this lodge.
4. I visited this property on 30th Dec 2020 and I was overcharged. Usually it is available for Rs. 2500 but we were charged 6750 per night just for room.
5. There is no restaurant and hence we didn't get any food.
6. We were sent to a shack outside where food was worst and unhygienic.
7. Inside the room, broken mirror, broken electric fittings and plastic cheap quality plastic fittings. Stained towels.
It is total waste of money and cheating.

It's not a resort 1st of all. Fan Doesn't work, AC works like a fan, no door mats, No staff, No restaurant, No Room service, No water bottles, No tv, No fridge list goes on.
Not more than 1500 rs should be paid to the rooms. They sent a old lady to pick up the luggages from the parking wch is very far so we parked the car in some other nearest resort by paying 100/-. All over not a good place fa pleasant stay.

Worst resort ever, it's very unclean, there is no parking place, they will ask you to park in another resort which is not exactly approved by those people. There is no food available, AC and fan don't work in most of the rooms and it feels like you are staying in an 'oven'. Supporting staff do not co-operate at all in case you go to them with any of the above mentioned issues.

A little inside from the beach, but rooms are of great and clean with good amenities. You can order food to the rooms and they deliver. Rooms mentioned with balcony on first floor, but there is no view so not much use.

No television, electricity problem, no hot water in our room. Only thing it's closer to the beach. The staff is impolite too. Food is below average. For the amount we paid I dont feel it was worth it. Ac in the room also wasnt working well.

Do not believe on what's seen in the pictures. They didn't clean the room properly, Washroom wasn't clean, no dustbin provided, adjacent construction work keeps you disturbed, no parking available. Not worth of the huge amount they charge from you. None of their service matches "resort" tag. Complete waste of money.

The best beach side stay compared to other shacks near the shore, other resorts are quite far away from the beach. Parking is an issue there, you will have to park at Shiva Prasad guest house and request resort staff to help with the way

Resort has few Rooms. Well maintained with AC and non-AC Rooms. Food standard maintained well. Bathroom are always cleaned and maintained well. Rooms are very much near to the beach.

Staying at this place includes an AC room, bathroom with geyser water, not so good wifi, no complimentary meal and a water bottle a day. It has a small lotus cafe nearby. The place is clean and at a min walkable distance from Kudle beach.

The route to this place is not clear though, you can memorize it's to the right of the Sea-view cafe (no board signs).

Toiletries provided here include just soap, so carry your toiletries along.

I won't call it a resort but a room to stay with the best part is it's proximity to the beach.

The hotel did not had a proper entrance and also didn't had a parking.we had to pay for parking of our car at another place and walk for 15 mins.but the service was excellent.

1. Its right in Kudle Beach. 2. Just 5 mins walk to the beach where you can spend time. There are multiple shacks in this beach. 3. Om beach is 1.6kms from here. You can walk or take an auto. 4. Amenities: All basic amenities are there. However, the TV in the room was not working, bathroom had no mirror and clothes hanging rod (which was bit of a problem). 5. We took the breakfast package but this place just provides some 2-3 fixed items for breakfast (not the usual breakfast buffet type). 6. The worst thing we faced is locating the hotel. Keep in mind it is quite inside and you have to walk for like 10-15 mins from the parking where the auto will leave you. And to reach the hotel, you have to cross some muddy, watery, unclean and unpaved field type of area. 7. I would not recommend it for elderly people.

You will lose your trip mood if you stay here. No approach road. Rooms not good. No hot water. Please avoid this property

Had one of the worst experience with this hotel. Had a very bad experience while approaching the hotel and also the stay.
There is no proper approach road for the Lotus beach resort. They have no parking facility. When we were on the way to the hotel it started raining heavily. By the time we reached the hotel it was around 8 PM. It is a mud road to the common parking area and during rains gets very slushy and the vehicle could get stuck in the mud. In the common area we need to pay parking fees of 200 Rs. There is no proper direction to reach the hotel. Luckily mobile signal was there. Hotel people would have to take you to the hotel. We had few senior people with us. We had to carry all luggage and walk more than 500m to reach hotel. Since it was raining heavily, there was rain water flow on the sides and its very very difficult to find the right place to keep the feet. At places there are hardly 1 and half feet space to walk. At most of the places while walking to the hotel, there was hardly any lighting. At places we have to walk on a flat brick. Cow dung were there on the way. Chances of toppling over is very high if we are not very careful. The hotel staff did not have umbrellas also and all of us got drenched completely. By the time all of us reached the room it was around 10 PM after all the discussions to get help.
There was no receptionist also. Only helpers were there. We had booked 5 rooms. Main door and bathroom doors were jammed and it was very difficult to open. There were around 10 people playing and later on slept outside of one of rooms. Hotel food was Ok.
In some of the rooms only very hot water was coming and in some of the rooms only cold water was coming. The bed and blankets were not clean. The rooms were very smelly.
It was one of the torturous experience with the hotel.

Very bad experience when reached. No staff, manager to attend on arrival. Though the exterior looks good, interior is all in broken or non-operational state. Some rooms had non-operational AC, Fans, lights. No proper kitchen to serve the free breakfast as booked in package.

I would have given -5 if I had an option! One of worst resort (I wouldn't call it as a resort, it's just a set of rooms near beach) i've ever seen!
No parking facility. There is no sign board to this place as well. If you're an outsider, finding this place will be a horrible adventure! They will send one guy to pick your luggages from the main road, that guy is oly enough to get to know abt the worst attitude of the each n every employee of the resort. Rooms n food were also not upto the mark.

Not recommended at all for ladies/group of ladies or a family!

I would like to tell that this was the worst and horrible place I have ever visited in my life! Worst service by the hotel management There is no road connectivity from the resort! We have to reach the resort by walking through the muddy roads and there was just one person who takes care of the whole property and he was very arrogant and in the evening it was horrible we where ragged by a group of guys who stayed in the other resort and we found very very difficult to reach the parking and it’s a very unsafe place especially for girls group I would surely not recommend this place

Near by to Kudle beach! But it takes some time to find where exactly the place is.

Room was pretty spacious and really clean!
Room service was a bit of concern and the management should take this into consideration.

There were some instances of power outage but it was really not that bad.

Food, this was the only area of concern! Some dishes were really nice and tasty but some of them were not eatable. Overpriced menu I must say.

Overall experience was okay, but management need to improve on food, room services, electricity issues.

Good resort near to beach but you need to walk some distance from parking. Road to parking lot is very poor. Good resort with poor access.

Resort location is perfect for the travellers as it is very close to beach. It's just back side to the sacks present in beach. Problem to this resort is (I would say to each hotel and resort) connectivity by road. There is very limited road connectivity to beach in Gokarna. So this is not with this resort only. Whole Gokarna has this issue. So travellers have to walk from the designated drop points via beach and internal roads to reach resort. Also this is a hotel not a resort. A hotel without food. Food service is available from near by sacks only on request. Gokarna was treated as an alternative low budget stay to Goa. But it's not true. Cost of this hotel is quite similar to a better hotel in Goa. Hotel helps you to reach to hotel and drops you to the location of cab etc. You need not to pull you luggage by your own. Beaches are clean and less crowded. It's quite safe to be on beach side even in late nights.
