It was really good.great food. But the gulab jamoon, carrot halwa, maddur vada, and bennay muruku are really overpriced.

This is one of the best iconic place in bengaluru. Its an alternative place for vidyarthi bhavan. It’s a old restaurant which gives the vibe of 1990’s bengaluru. The food and service is very good and is very reasonable with good taste and quality.

Expect a simple ambience, very tasty food, slightly on the spicy side but that's for me. Idlis melt in your mouth, Kaali Dosa is soft and do try toast with palya and homemade jam. Quite different.very honestly priced place. Recommended.

Tasty food. But waiter and cashier thinks that they are giving the food free of cost. The waiter thinks that he is doing a favor by serving food. When asking he is some rude.

This place is 98 years old. Wanna see how was old school Bengaluru then u should definitely check out this place. There r very few places like this which hold the old school charm of Bengaluru. The menu is simple and consistent, with just a handful of items in the menu this place is gonna touch 100 years soon. Consistency is the key and 3 generations are present at the place one looking after the billing and the other for the service and the young lad is learning the business operations, when u hav such commitment then ur definitely ranked one of the iconic places in Bengaluru. Simple Khali dosa, masla dosa, idli and Vada and the super filter coffee.

Iconic place in basavanagudi.was always good but has become popular again. Do not miss to try their benne masale dose, Khali dose, jamoon and vada sambar.

Loved the idly sambar here. Sambar is spicy unlike other restaurants in Bengaluru.

Khaali dosa was okay. Filter coffee was great too. Pineapple kesari bath and khara bath- a very good combo.

Will come back here for sure. They close by 9.30 in the morning though. Go early! Wednesdays are closed too.

Traditional old Bangalore eatery. Clean and has great ambience. Saghu masala dosa and Khalli dosa must try in here. Tasty and one of the best in Bangalore. Not crowded on weekdays. Sunday morning this place opens up at 6 am. Highly recommended if you happen to visit Basavanagudi, don't miss this place.
