Mahalaxmi Comforts ( Boarding & Lodging )

We were there for only one night. However could make out that it is a nicely managed property.

We booked Mahalaxmi Comfort at Kumta as it is near to railway station. The rooms are spacious & pretty clean & they also offer toiletries. The price is also pocket friendly. I highly recommend this for a comfortable stay.

Best value for money. Not giving 5 stars because of non availability to book online. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Neat and clean rooms. There is no restaurant attached. However food will be served from outside restaurants

Very bad experience. Asked for water bottle and the manager literally shouted and argued that free one I given but they haven't. For one water bottle he shouted as if I am asking for his kiney. Very pathetic.
Also so many bugs were coming. One even reached to our bed at night. Thank god we saw that or God knows what would happen.

Great to place to stay at Kumta. Nice rooms and room service. The front desk team is very good. I've stayed there for 4 days with my family. Highly recommended hotel.

Loved the stay, hotel, location and staff. I think its the best vfm hotel in kumta. The property is new. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Knows all languages. Rooms are neat and big. Firestick smart tv in rooms.

We normally stay at Pandurang International when we visit Kumta. However, this time we decided to stay at Mahalaxmi Comforts. The rooms are large and clean. I'm particularly fussy about the toilets and those were indeed clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. The country is still in the grips of Corona, however, travel has opened up. We were the only travelers living at MC. The biggest impact of the lockdown was on the food services, which we had to order from outside.all in all, a good experience.

Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so its just a Lodging, but the atmosphere of room is so special that it met my all needs really felt like home to me. All respect for the management's team who does a great job here. A true sample of excellent hospitality in a small town!

Hotel is good as its new.rooms are clean.such a big hotel but has only one lift which does not operate properly.suite rooms felt little pricey.atleast for this place.room service was slow

Excellent service. Amazing staff. We reached at 1am and requested for something to eat and drink, Bharat from the staff rode to a distance and called us back with options. Thats what we call ‘Customer Service’. Clean air conditioned room and well maintained bathroom with 24 hrs running hot water. The breakfast served was authentic karnataka breakfast. Amazon fire stick on tv really helped us unwind after a tiresome day. Special mention and thanks to Mr Shanbhag who works at the helm, tirelessly to ensure the Customer Service is maintained at the highest level.
The toiletries offered (tooth brush, tooth paste, Shaving razor, Almond hair oil, Shampoo, Soaps) are of the best brands with even taking care of the minute details of women’ needs such as (hair pins and safety pins). All of this for an amazing price of less then 2k.

Ambiance: Amazing rooms, clean near and you are provided with A brush, shampoo satche, soap, has shower and king size beds with ana amazing and you have a Hotle below the lodge where you can eat food.
It has a bus counter as well.

Parking: Ample amount of parking space.

Restrooms: Amazingly well maintained. Fairly new lodging building.

Food: Did not get a chance to try it. We had it in Panduranga and it was amazing.

Hospitality: 5/5

The rooms, corridors were extremely clean. Facilities like AC, hot water were available all time. The staff were very co-operative and accepted the various changes in our plans. Great quality is offered at an economical price. Will definitely recommend to others.

Bathroom and rooms are clean but the major thing hot water is not available in the morning after repeatedly asking for hot water receptionist reply that hot water will be available after 1 hour. If you go directly then ask for room They will over charge you better do online booking

One of the best lodging hotel in Kumata. Stayed here for a day. 24 hours checkout if you book directly with hotel. Car Parking available. Room service available, and is very quick.

I took AC deluxe room, which comes with King size bed, room is spacious, lighting is very good, separate dressing area, well maintained bathrooms.

Reasonable stay facility which quite affordable for group stays. Very spacious rooms to accommodate 3 people in a room. Bath and washroom is absolutely hygenic with 24 hrs hot water supply and shower. They do provide with basic essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, oil, shaving cream etc if you forget to carry on your stay. Overall in kumtha a quite awesome stay with good connectivity to tourist places

Very nice hotel to stay if you visit Kumta
The ac room we stayed in was reasonably priced at 2400.it had 3 beds as asked for, wifi with Amazon prime on a firestick, nice and clean bathrooms, a very good room service and good food.

Just the hotel management needs a new manager who looks at the clock once in a while. They don't have a watchman, so we checked in and parked the car at 5 pm in the compound. Then at 11 pm, when the whole small town is sleeping, all guests are sleeping and then restaurant is also closed, the night manager, since he has nothing better to do, calls the room and asks to move the car slightly since it's not aligned with the parking slots and now parking spots have opened up.
Unbelievable.

So if you do visit and plan to stay, do remember to park your vehicle correctly, in case you don't want to get a midnight wake up call.

Our stay there was a very short one, since we wanted a transit while commuting to Goa. Even though it was short, our whole family was pleased by it. The courteous staff and satisfactory service added to our enjoyable experience. A very tasty complimentary breakfast was served, which we thoroughly savored.

Very affordable price and amazing service by the hotel staff, have good parking, wifi and netflix access you can expect all the facility that a 3-4 hotels could provide in this hotels but the only con is that this hotel is a little far off from all the famous places around be it gokarna or yana hills or the fort

Had a great stay! The management went above and beyond to make sure the customer is comfortable. It was great to see all room TVs equipped with Amazon Firestick, extra toiletries, extremely clean washrooms and 24 hours hot and cold water. Above all, the management was super nice and welcoming! Skip all other hotels nearby and give this new gem a try!

This is the 3rd time we checked in here. The pleasant service, ambiance, cleanliness, facilities, etc are all the same as we had found during our first stay here. In fact, they have improved on the complimentary breakfast! Earlier they used to procure breakfast from outside and hence there was a limitation in the variety. Now a restaurant is available in the basement and hence one can enjoy a variety of items. Its really appreciable that good service & facilities have been maintained. Management is always striving to provide best to its customers and make their stay enjoyable & memorable too!

The most rude people we have met in India.
We asked for a room and the staff were quite difficult to deal with. However, when we had agreed to stay we collect our bags only to be told by the manager there was now no room. He had 'sold' it to another family. The amount of problems we have had staying in hotels in India as a foreigner has been a joke, with places turning us away becuase they are 'full' but this was different. Pathetic individuals and an awful manager. I'm glad now we didn't stay.

Kind of all in one complex concept. There still some shops to fill in. Located by the side of main road. The fact about boarding m not sure about. Calling and contacting is good before planning.

Superb hospitality given by Mr Shanbaug.true gentleman and very generous, v had booked around 40rooms for family event.the whole staff was helpful.rooms are worth, spacious too, very clean n tidy.for the place it is in.it's one of the best hotel u can ever find.
