Maharaja Agrasen Hospital

To the management of MAH, Padmanabhanagar,
I'm staying close to MAH. I have seen the hospital from construction stages. Earlier the lab facility was done by MAH staff. The services of MAH lab was so good and affordable. Now, it's outsourced to Anand Neuberg. They are very costly. The area residents have the impression that MAH is a charitable hospital, but it's not so. The washrooms are having filthy smell. No water washrooms.
Pl switch back to your own lab facilities immediately. The tray placed in washrooms is at a height beyond eye reach. Please consider these inputs and help the people surrounding the hospital locality.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful throughout 3 day stay for dengue treatment!

The nursing, housekeeping and medical staff were all effective and proactive!

Would love to thank Dr. Tirthankar and Maharaja Agrasen Hospital as they took really good care of me when I was admitted at this hospital. Rooms were clean, nursing staff were fabulous and new management is really good. Only one suggestion to the management is that please maintain one quality working canteen. We were depended upon near by resturant for the food supply.

Poor and Pathetic Hospital. No service only money minded. Lack of communication among staff and Doctors. Zero motivation for staff

Overall like the hospital service and all the staff. Hospitality here is awesome, mostly feels like home. I had come here for my 1st delivery, as the suggestion of my Dr Savitha Srinivas (one of best doctor I have known) with the help of sister Asha I had normal delivery, both of us are healthy.

I am Thankful to Dr. Tirthankar and all the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital for treating my brother well. All the Sisters took utmost care. Ethical practice of Dr. Tirthankar sir and sisters are good. They avoid unnecessary ICU admission.

I am sincerely grateful for Doctor Tirthankar and Dr. Shamanta for their unbelievable support in my difficult times. Also all the nursing staffs, duty doctors were fully supportive. Really a great hospital for a difficult time.

One of the worst hospitals I’ve ever seen, never visit this hospital for any kind of emergency situation, they will washout your bank balance in a day or two. Especially they will break you during billing, without your permission they’ll run 20+ tests, some of them are just the same tests with different names. Not just that, for example if a test costs 500 rupees outside, this hospital will charge you at least 1600 for the same tests This is just an example for one basic test, this will be the same for all 20+ tests. So just imagine the price you’ll end up with.

I wanted to give -10 stars but I don’t have that option.

Never visit this one.

Please don't visit this hospital as i was I'll treated where I was not started with treatment post 24 hrs of admission to the hospital.

General physician is worst disaster doctor and bad mouth chap. Don't get treated. Very ill speaking. Worst behaviour. Manjunath to be suspended.

My mother was treated by Dr. Abhishek Modi for her toothache. The entire experience was hassle free and pleasant. The doctor is very patient and suggests the most suitable mode of treatment. It is also cost effective. He was always available for any questions we had and was very helpful and thorough with his treatment. Highly recommend the doctor. Thank you!

Do not get your vaccines at the Casualty, the sisters DO NOT KNOW to administer an injection. The pharmacist gave an already open vaccine (not sure if it was used) and the sister spilt more than half the vaccine outside, wiped it and lied to the duty doctor that its already administered.
Do not recommend anybody to get their injections at the Casualty.

Management is worst they are increasing prices too I suggest people not to go to this hospital. I have Ben taking treatment at this hospital from past 15 years before that management was too good now it’s worst worst. Treatment charges has gone above the limit. Insurance cashless was being accepted before now they won’t accept anything as such. Doctor ask prescription for everything

Worst experience.there is no proper procedure. Waiting period for all the departments is more. No quick reply.for me took more than 2hrs.

I am writing this review with respect to the overall experience of over 15 years with this Hospital. Both my Parents and my wife have had their treatments on multiple occasions.

This Hospital almost like a second home to us, as we have been experiencing excellent quality of Service from the Hospital Staff.

I am particularly grateful to Dr. Tirthankar, General Physician. What stands out in terms of his Professionalism is that way he has diagnosed and identified various health complications surrounding my wife, Saraswathy.

While Dr. Tirthankar has been spot on, always, in his diagnosis, what stood out to me in terms of his commitment are - (a) Extending his Call of Duty beyond his Scheduled hours with the Hospital by attending to our crisis calls/Messages, and (b) The wonderful collaboration he ensures with other Surgeons.

I am also grateful to Specialist Surgeons - Dr. Kishore (Cardiac), Dr. Rajiv (Renal), Dr. Gurucharan (Neurology), Dr. Vinod Kumar (Ortho), Dr. Sharath (Urology), for their Expertise and timely intervention.

I had admitted here for toes fracture and wound on leg. Dr. Kumar who is an orthopedic surgeon in MAH, operated successfully. I am very grateful to Dr Kumar. I am also grateful
to the nurses Mrs. Wanjaplin, Mrs Divyabharathi and sister Jyothi D.who does the dressing to my wounds. Today was my last dressing and the wound healed completely. I am very grateful to Dr. Kumar, all nurses and the staff. Staff member Shivanna, security helped me whenever I came for dressing. All the staff are very cooperative and helped me a lot. Had paid a visit for nail removal had the best experience as always i would like to mention two names "Dr shivanand" and nurse " Divya" for creating a safest environmen during my treatment.maharaja Agrasena is continuously serving people from decades.

I visited the hospital with my mother. Also took Master Executive Health Checkup. The sister Jyoti D was helpful and in taking care of my mom during routine check up. Thanks Sister.

Hospital staffs are very friendly and environment is good and liked one of the nurse mousumi. Dr. Sumanth is very good doctor and very humble person.

Am on dialysis for 10years, Present Mr. Akilesh and team of Dialysis is very good, taking care of all patients, checks BP frequently, asking about weakness, any issues during dialysis. Checks the blood test every month and giving the necessary medication. When ever we feel sad or sorrow akilesh encourages us so we can feel better in the dialysis. This is one of the best team.

Especially Dr, Kumar (ORTHO) he has done successful operation to my left hand injury, am very thankful to him, Nurses and overall staff especially madam Divya sister was very friendly and helpful.

Being a charitable hopsital, they have a clean and hygenic atmosphere. Their doctors and nurse are very polite.

Dr.kishore (cardiologist) doesn't have time sense comes always late even we have appointment also

Dr Nitish is the worst doctor which i have seen. Because of his negligence my wife suffered with pain for one month.even after revisit twice he keeps telling it's healing and "you are very sensitive" but day by day pain was increasing.we did MIR after taking second opinion with other doctor and in MIR got to know he skipped to do a procedure which is utmost important. We went with one more surgery in Ramakrishna Hospital now she is feeling better.

We have come across similar experience for my uncle as well.without seeing he keeps telling wound is healing in reviews time and keeps telling your very sensitive.what kind of answer is this?

I would urge to kick him out from that hospital.if you want to improve the hospital.i will dftly not going to leave this.

Dr. Kishore, cardiologist. Just I'm sharing my experience with this doctor and receptionist, hope it will help others, receptionist gave appointment at 5pm and I visited hospital at 4.50 pm already 3 patients were waiting from 4.45pm and waited till 6.15 pm exactly at 6.20 pm dr. Kishore came to hospital and went into cabin. He was inside the cabin for 5 minutes I taught he will call patient to check but one of his colleague came they started citchating till 6.30pm after that he started speaking in his mobile regarding his trip plan. Then I went to receptionist and cancelled my appointment. Here receptionist was like take your money and go, can they give time i lost there? Management to look into this issue. MAH is not recommended please don't waste time and money here.

One of the worst hospital i have experience they just take money for everything no mercy. Also worst staff and maintainence of the wards are pathetic.

Today's experience'is quite different.
For blood test and eco and ecg of my brother I visited to day morning.he has no phone. I have told my number. Simply rejected bythe counter/billing staff and told go somewhere

They cant handle serious cases, i almost lost my dad because of there negligence, luckily i shifted him to a different hospital and i could save him.

Very bad experience. Plz don't venture think b4 admission. Money minded, they admitted patient and for one night ICU they charged Rs. 50,000/- bill. Just informed they have given medicines worth thousands of Rs.and I wonder how a critical.condition patient will respond and what are medicine they gave. Given 1 star. Horrible experience for my relative.

Doctors will not available for specific disease.we need to wait or take an appointment before visit hospital.

One of the best hospital I have even seen.very cleanly maintained. Staff's are humble and cooperative.more than anything, hospital is not behind money. They give importance to treat patients, rather than money.

An unprofessional medical care hospital.
They exploit with unknown charges.
My father in law was under regular care & treatment here & expired in this hospital.
Some doctors conducted unnecessary tests on a weak man in 80's.
After his death they billed for medicine which was never given.

I had taken treatment under Dr. Tirthankar (Maharaja Agrasen Hospital). I had recovered under his supervision. 5 stars for this absolutely great man! Highly professional doctor, with a keen eye for detail. He is very kind and good listener. Felt comfortable and had all my concerns addressed. Very methodical.

Very bad service, its a horrible experience for inpatient, each and every cleaning staff and support staff keep asking money to do their job, except having a good visiting consultants this hospital doesn't have anything, should not go beyond opd.

Excellent care given to me while undergoing treatment. Doctors are very polite and listen to your concerns and not just give any medicine without proper diagnosis.

I had got a first doze of vaccination from this hospital but after they are not available for 2nd dose inspite of calling them back to back they won't pick up the phone this shows the irresponsibility of the hospital.

Dont try contacting them on the landline. It rings but no 1 responds even if u call 100 times back to back. Worst staff. Always gives a careless response. No proper info will be given to patients. Better to shut instead of running a hospital like this.

Front office staff is very rude. We went for vaccination and they told it's not there. But they gave vaccine for few North Indians who gave some extra money.

Experience beyond excellence! It was free vaccination drive... So beautifully organized that the whole process took about 20 minutes. Top of it, I was offered a fruit drink which was really unbelievable. Over all, fantastic experience

I got 2nd Dose Covishield vaccinated at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital today. Truly wonderful experience... Co-operative staff... Arrangements well organized. I appreciate the way they conducted the free vaccination drive!

I went to.maharaja Agrasen hospital along with my father for second dose of covid vaccine. Hospital premises are very clean. A staff from hospital accompanied us to vaccination department. We did the registration and we were administered vaccine. This whole process took hardly 15 minutes and free. Thanks to the management for the excellent service.

Myself and my had been to Maharaja Agrasena Hospital for covid vaccination right from security everyone was very courteous. When we were resting after taking the vaccination hospital President himself had come in and checked whether everything is alright. He came to us and enquired how are we feeling after injection and offered us fruit juice. We are very grateful to him and all the staff.

I would like say that this hospital is the best hospital in Bangalore south where the treatment is best and quite affordable. Admin Team/Doctor/nursing and ward staff are very courteous and attentive to patient’s care. Overall I had a very good experience at Maharaja Agrasena Hospital during my visit for my father’s surgery.

Nice experience. My mother got admitted for treatment related to Diabetes. The doctor who treated her, Dr. Thirthankar is one of the best doctors I have seen. No unnecessary tests and scans. He explains minutest of the things which even a layman can understand. A kind hearted Doctor, because of his treatment and kind words, my mother has quickly recovered. I have been to this hospital recently, they have tested me for Corona and taken all necessary precautions.

Horrible experience. My father was seriously ill and rushed here. The people at the reception are the least courteous you will find anywhere, and are reluctant to even explain the bill. I had my father admitted here for 2 days and after the horrifying experience, shifted to a different hospital.

1. Doctors don't come on rounds on time. They can come at 8 PM or 12 PM. There is absolutely no way to tell.
2. Even the nurses dont visit the wards regularly. If the IV liquid gets over, you need to remind them at 3 times to come and change the bottle. If u dont, they never come.
3. You have to run around from the lab to the reception desk to the nurse's desk for everything. All reports have to be collected by you. The hospital staff will do nothing.
4. For getting a CT scan report, I had to run around the hospital for 24 hours!

I would sincerely recommend you to go to another Hospital.

I have not been to the hospital, but i am reviewing because of the food donation they do outside their premises for the poor and needy.

Got admitted to the hospital and here is my view:
1. Costly rate for private ward and inflatable bills
2. Horrible management and worst maintenance
3. Staff not trained to deal professionally with patients
4. Got admitted based on treating doctor’s recommendation
5. Will never recommend this hospital to anyone.

Worst hospital, and using this covid situation, patient of small injury, claiming positive and billed 3.5 lac for 3 days.pl.be carefull in selecting this hospital, we need justice from the hospital.

Bad experience with receptionist, i called morning regarding packege details, she said am busy right now, i asked to send photo copy also she stil not send any details.

My mother got excellent treatment in the month of May 2020 by Dr. Tirthankar and Dr. Gurucharan. They avoided ICU admission and treated in ward. Nursing staff and ward boys very cooperative.

She was again readmited this month Jun 2020 for 10 days & she was vey well treated for her health issues. Dr. Thirthankar was not less then a GOD to save my mom's life.

I met with an accident in December 2019 and i was reached Maharaja Agrasena Hospital, Padmanabhanagar immediately and handled by duty doctors and met with Gentleman Dr Kumar (Ortho Surgeon), he was so calm and made comfort throughout the Medications, Surgery and Post Surgery. I am heartfully thankfull to Dr Kumar and Hospital staff and Non Medical staff for healing the pain with smiles. Definitely will be recommended place when any medical need if there, which is hygenic and multi-speciality facilities are available 24/7.

"WORST MANAGEMENT" Mislead and incorrect information is provided. They're so pathetic in giving appointments I'm sure they don't even have a system and discipline on this regards.
People who attend the calls at reception don't have any Information if doctor would be coming today instead they confuse and falsley say they will be available at a particular time call again.
When I called up this morning to check if Dr. Maiya will be coming, a guy picked the call and said Dr. Maiya will come at 9: 15 will be there till 10: 15 said to call again. When I called back in less than 10 -20 minutes of first call a different person, a lady, picked up the call n said no Doctor Maiya will never come on Tuesday morning, please come in evening.
It's not a joke that people reschedule their work and postpone things when the doctor is available. Looks Like they're just making good money at this hospital and don't care about anything or anyone who needs treatment from good doctor who visit here. Also

My grand mother got operated for hip fracture last week by Dr kumar who took good care of the patient. Excellently explained about the procedure including risks and benefits and was open for discussion for any number of questions.after surgery she was able to walk next two days I really thank for Dr kumar and the physiotherapist Dr bharatesh for there care and support

Only few Nice doctors but worstest management there is no proper way for giving appointment they will keep us waiting waiting. Once I came to hospital at 2pm and went back home by nyt 10pm. For just giving appointment they will make us waiting till 5pm. This more worst for emergency cases. Better option for other hospitals.
