Maharaja Restaurant

Despite the numerous recommendations for Maharaja restaurant in Chickmangalore, our visit left much to be desired. The mutton and chicken biryani, while not terrible, were merely average in our opinion. On the bright side, the vegetarian options proved to be quite decent. Service was impressively prompt, and the restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene standards were commendable.

If you want to waste your money you are kost welcome to this restaurant we have ordered 3 items all the three were waste not a restaurant to suggest some one please avoid if you have an secondary option

The biryani we ordered at 07: 00pm was not fresh and it was the leftover of the afternoon, the other items were good, before ordering confirm wether it is fresh or not.

Mutton sukka and Nati Koli meal are good. Little bit in the costlier side. Food is authenticate and can be a good option.

Dishes taste average, nothing to write about. Pricing for the dishes is towards higher range and comparable to upscale restaurants in Bangalore.
Not a value for money option if you compare all the aspects of dining.

The staff is horrible.specially the manager. Very rude and disrespectful.they hear you calling but act as if they have not heard you calling.

This restaurant was referred to us by one of the local spice shops. We went there to have a quick lunch. Since there are many Maharaja hotels finding this one was bit difficult.
Ambience of the hotel is average in the day time.it must be looking good in the night with all the lights.
Service was super fast and I really appreciate the steward for being courteous.
Food came in ample quantity and 1 Biriyani can be easily shared by 2. Food was served hot. Biriyani here is yummy and comes with the right amount of spices. Overall it is a good place to have family lunch or dinner.
Desserts were limited to ice creams.
They do have a separate fresh juice counter.

Staf wAs very rude he is not replying properly. And I ordered mutton biryani Rs. 300 and they give me 3 small pieces of mutton and taste is not very good.

Sub standard hotel! Manchurian was thrice salty. Veg pulao had hair in it (they took return). Dal was standard. Buttermilk was good.

Just don't even go and try. Worst food ever. One of the top waste restaurant in chikkamagaluru. Too costly bot not even 5% worth.

This place is one of the best multi-cuisine restaurant you can eat at in Chikmamgalore town. Fairly diverse menu is on offer with really nice taste. The restaurant has a seating capacity of about 50 people and mostly is visited by the local families. We had Veg Manchurian, Crispy Babycorn, Chicken Malai kebab, Rumali Roti, Paneer kadai, chicken butter masala and fresh lime soda. Most dishes tasted above average. They allowed us to charge our phone as we were traveling.
Only bad thing is the person taking orders got to know that we have a bus to catch later on so kept on poking us to vacate the table even though we were placing orders and having food at a normal pace.

Bigg Noo to someone who is expecting a nice and peaceful food time in this place.
No order priority.
Forget about the food it takes more than an hour just to give a soup. Very irresponsible representatives, no courtesy about the customer.
