Malgudi Southern Cuisine

This is an underrated restaurant in Marathahalli. Ambience was really good and it was a malgudi themed one. You get both traditional as well as modern vibe over there. I tried prawn masala, chicken pepper fry, neer dosa and chapathi. It was good. They had blueberry flavoured goli soda which was really soothing for throat. Overall had a great experience!

It's neither south indian nor North Indian not at all worth of money no taste at all and quantity is less with price.

Worst experience. Not good hospitality. The worker guy there was not interested in welcoming the customers and he didn't respond well.

Nice and clean restaurant with delicious authentic South Indian style food. The menu has many options to choose from and the service is quick. Quality of food is good too.

Food was yum, mutton curry and neer dosa. Loved the taste. The old malgudi ambience also makes you feel good.

Malgudi is located beside Paradise near Marathalli.

Interior is very well designed with clay pots old pillars and gives a indian heritage look

Must try dishes would be Meals Thali, Malgudi chicken, fish fries and lot other options available.

The taste was fine nothing extraordinary, it is a family restaurant with both veg and non veg options.

One of the most underrated restaurants in Marathahalli. The beautiful, aesthetic interiors is very welcoming. The menu is pretty simple and limited. But the taste, is exceptional. We really enjoyed the accompaniments more - their pappu podi, avakka pickle and gongura were our favourites.

Good taste of food, especially prawn biriyani was awesome. Ask other dishes were also upto the mark.

Food is ok, but not at the affordable priced it is bit costlier compared to other restaurants. But place is good and homely atmosphere.

Not regular items you should order. Try to see what is special in their menu and try it. Definitely you'll like the dishes very tasty and satisfactory.

Good ambience, good place to take family if you would like to try some good food. Attukal soup was really good, Loved the Chicken lolipop and Mutton biriyani was decent.

Parking is available but is limited, the services are good.

Andra meals is worst, spoiling the name of Andra meals. Malgudi chicken roast is good. Rice quality is not good and it is undigestable.

Good ambience and great food! Loved the Mutton Biriyani and Chicken Lollipop

Decent place to go with family and friends

Neer dosa is amazing as always. I had come here once before, and the menu choices have drastically reduced since then. It's not that well lit, but have great cooperative staff.
The Guntur chicken was also really good. Biryani is average, but unlike many others, the chicken was actually really tender.
Parcel service is also 10/10.
Ambience is not that great and they have very less parking spots.

This place rocks with its ambience, food and services. Prices are bit on the higher side but worth the money. Good place for families and couples.

Worst restaurant.experience.ragi mudee served old while dinner. Non of the gravy or starters were served hot.will never suggest this restaurant.

Decent place with some south indian flavors. But lacks the authentic touch of south indian food or typical karnataka flavors.

Nice decore. Food tastes good. But pathetic service, took more than 45 mins for food to reach the table and had to repeatedly ask waiter for any refills.

Won't be disappointed if you are for a decent andra meal. Order Andra Chicken wasn't that great not worth for the price. Place was happening earlier but now I guess it lost the flavor.

Nice Andhra style meals and excellent munakai soup.i guess coz of lots of Andhra restaurant nearby they should stick to older menu of multiple state cuisine.

Nice ambience and food too. People are very courteous and helpful. Good location.and a good place for veg and non veg both.
Raagi Mudde also available. It has its small place for parking.

Ambience of the restaurant is looking great. Price is not matched with food taste and quantity.

Not only was the Chicken Biryani great but the service beyond food was also exceptional, especially by the manager (I think). I had forgotten to take my invisible aligners with me and called them as soon as I realised I had left it behind. As you may know they are pair of transparent and light pieces of plastic therefore very easy to miss. I had wrapped in a napkin and left on the table.

Mr. Subramani (the manager, I presume) immediately as I called the restaurant's phone no, got the staff searching for them in the washing area and bins. He said he'd call me if he found them. He called me after a while and said he'd found one and learned from me that there were two such aligners to be found. He called me again some time later and said he'd found the 2nd one too. I was releived I didn't have to buy a new pair.

Mr. Subramani offered to have them sent to me but I didn't want to make them go through the trouble. I waited till they resumed service in the evening and sent over Swiggy Genie to bring them to me. Mr. Subramani has gotten them cleaned with hot water, wrapped them in fresh tissue and put them in a sealed alumium pouch in a carry bag. He requested that I reward the boy who searched it out. I mean we need more people like him - so much integrity and care. He's not just a great employee but great human too I'd say as in the service industry I feel you have to be a good human to be a good employee.

The drawings on the wall are beautiful but the Appam they give is actually Dosa. The Andhra Chicken Curry was delicious. The cuisine was excellent.

A authentic place to have south indian delights. The thali was just amazing with great perfection with great cuisine served in one platter.

Needs biggest improvement in hygiene no one wear gloves, taste is very poor the owner should have wake up

Good place for Andhra style food. Chicken 65 is amazing here and also Biryani. Ambience is excellent.

Had boneless biryani and it was delicious. I went purely for ambience so I could sit and talk to friends. Overall, loved it.
