Mallige Homestay Nature's Paradise

Mallege Homestay is really natures paradis.very beautiful with lots of different flower plants around home and also it has coffee plantation in it. We family enjoyed 2 days stay there. Especially care taker Chinnappa uncle took us care as if we are in their family. Food was awesome especially barbecue. It is very safe, cool place to spend time in coorg. They also took us walk in around coffee plantation.

Probably the 1st time that I am writing a bad review in trip. I would not recommend any one to stay here as this would spoil your holidays for sure. Visited this homestay on Friday with my family. We were 4 people. I would specifically make points on this resort. My experience was not at all good.

1. Food- I think the worst experience till date i had with homestay food. We had breakfast included in the home stay, but the homestay owner provide only IDLY with sambar, chutney 2nd breakfast they provide only dosa chutney they didn't provide complementary tea also we have to pay.
For dinner we ordered panner butter masala and paneer fried rice these items are horrible.till date i never seen panner fried rice like that.

2. When we where discuss about speakers, tv with owner
They informed speakers is there tv is there but in reality speakers is there. But not in working conditions.

3. You have to inform to owner even for the smallest things
Like drinking water, switch on light in lobby first they deny to switch on light later they switched on.

4.camp fire they allows only till 10 pm later we will not suppose to keep.

Suggestion: Still u guys are looking for stay better confirm before paying the advance what ur requirement

if water is on dinning table why I need mention
1 st day Food is good i am accepting that one but second day breakfast, third day breakfast worst, second day dinner i never taste panner fried rice & panner butter masala like that

Wonderful place to stay with family and we had a nice time. The rooms and house are very neatly maintained. The staffs at the homestay took our care and very helpful. The house and rooms are exactly as in the photos uploaded. The home food was very tasty and delicious. It was a great experience to us. They have provided all facilities and aminities. Enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you.

We stayed here only for one night but were amazed by the hospitality shown by Subaih and his family. The location of the home stay is perfect if you are looking for serene surroundings and away from the hustle - bustle of the city. It's 16kms from Madikeri town. Pro Tip- if you are looking to stay for long then carry snacks otherwise you might have to drive another 5 -6kms to find a good store. Subaih's house has everything that you need for a workation. Poornima (his wife) prepares delightful home cooked food, all three of our meals were mouth watering. The house was properly sanitized when we arrived. They also have a cute pug and a beautifully maintained garden. Honestly if you are looking for a home away from home then Subaih's place is for you. I would definitely revisit.

Went for a brief trip to Coorg and was overwhelmed by the hospitality provided. You will feel like you came for a visit to your own house. The owners are extremely cooperative and sweet. Poornima Ma'am has all our heart with the lovely food that she cooked. The place is so serene and beautiful that you will definitely miss it. Will recommend this place to anyone who wants to go for a trip to Coorg.

Good stay and food was home made and good.but they charged us extra ₹25 for coffee or tea each.

Ideal place for a relaxing and calm stay with family of 6-8 people. Hygienically clean rooms, good home made food, and most importantly The best care takers. Truly a home away from home.

The stay was wonderful. If u wanna experience a real home stay then this is ur spot. The host and his wife were very kind and friendly. Another best thing is the food and barbecue which is home made. One of the best pick for weekend.
