Mandagadhe Fish Restaurant

Nothing great about the fish they prepare, it's as normal as any other place. Very less options and this is not a full fledged hotel but home with home food.

Very good space. Tasty food. Nice staff and owner. But ambience is more on space and not on looks, which is good on it's own way. Prices are worth, not like some restaurant hyped bills.

Amazingly fresh bhadra dan backwaters fish served in South canara style dishes. Very friendly staff but the location is easy to miss if you are not careful. Almost situated in middle of nowhere

Excellent food. We had some fish curry which was Excellent. And chicken Masala fry yummy. Must try this place out

The best place to have fish in and around shimoga. If you're on the way to Udupi from shimoga, do not miss to have put stop here.

Worst place to be in Mandagadde. Don't waste ur time and money. Taste is very bad. Service is very Poor

Good food, if the fish available is good. Sometimes fish will be small size, but overall nice food to have.

Good infrastructure. Taste is good but quite expensive like all hotels of this road. 2* in hygiene.

Katla Tawa Fish Fry is awesome.
We did try Fish Kabab, Fish Fry, Fish Gravy.
Fish being fresh really loved the taste.
This restaurant is located between 15th and 16th mile from Shimoga to Thirthahalli, on left side of the road.
I would like to visit next time with friends.

Here you get Rice Roti, Neer Dosa, White Rice and the Fish Curry is awesome to taste.

The kitchen is not ultra modem but maintained neat and kudos to the team for maintaining it neat.

Clean, freshly prepared river water fish delicacies available. Known for their fish fry and fish head curry.

It's ok restaurant with fine food and good value for money and the views are awesome. But during weekends it gets really crowded and car will be parked everywhere on the road. The draw back is it's not that clean. The fishes are river fishes and are really fresh and the food tastes really good. The atmosphere is also good with fresh countryside air and a good view of tunga river. The restaurant is located in the small town of Mandagadhe. Some people tell the there the fish didnt have enough spice but in my experience I didnt find anything like that. My suggestions to the owner is to keep the restaurant clean and well maintained.

If you're in search of fresh and tasty fish cusine must visit place near sakreibyle shivamogga. Situated near Solapur -Mangalore Highway. Famous for fresh water fishes.

Before taking the parcel items please check there itself.
Last week i was cheated and I'll make sure to not visit again.

Even though am not a fan of Fish food.visited here with family.got good feedback of food.the best thing of this restaurant is located in very nice and beautiful place.cleanness is not up to the mark.got a feedback of fish dishes was good.but chicken was not good.

In fish fry parcel they don't put onions and lemon. And they don't make tasty food. Waste of money

Nice place with quiet natural ambience to sit out and chill. This place is quite easy to locate as well.
They serve you dishes of fresh caught river fish. And these have Malnad touch to it with extensive usage of coconut and its milk.
They don't serve alcohol but they let you bring alcohol from outside.
The prices are very reasonable and quite pocket friendly.
A must visit for people tired of city hustles and crowd.
