Nice place!
Food is delicious and the selection is pretty good.
Staff are kind and they do their best to make you feel comfortable.
Prices are also very reasonable.

Visited here after 3 years and the place has changed. Upper floor has been closed due to rental issues and the place feels congested. Food was delicious as usual.

Overview: Excellent Place to Dine & Wine. Mangala has always been well known for its food with a "TWIST" serving variety of meat under one roof which is generally not an option across restaurants in Mangalore.

Wines & Spiritz: Its all available but uncertain if there are Cocktails & Mocktails as its not my turf.

Appetizers to Main Course: I don't have to repeat myself as I mentioned this already in the overview. Yet I say Choice of meat & how it is actually served with so many options is amazing and point to note that you can NOT get it in any other restaurant in Mangalore. Try the Phat Freddy wont disappoint.

Service: Service is Average to a little above average.

Ambiance: 3 out of 5 because they have a smaller section now for Airconditioning. Not sure why they downsized on space but guessing covid effect. On a week day no stress but on weekends better to call and book a table as I too ended up having Beer & Food in the non-AC section.

Deserts: I don't have a sweet tooth so cant comment.

Verdict: Must TRY and you won't Regret! Cheers Mangala!

U have to try this place at least once if u visit Mangalore.
Their food tastes very different from the rest. It's slightly off the actual recipe but tastes very good.
The place is quite small, is clean, and the service is good too.

Loved the place ever since I came here the first time. 2017 till date hasn't changed one bit. The food is amazing as ever.

Though small, it's a good place near father Muller to eat good food and booze. You should definitely try their burgers

Food was ok, was Looking forward to the beef special, ordered beef pepper and beef garlic, liked the garlic it was spicy and tangy, peper didn't enjoy, the meat was a bit hard, fries were too salty, fish masala-the masala took over the fish completely.ambience was ok. Had a good meal, good place to chill.

Place is a bit old, ambience isn't that great, although the food was the greatest thing here and so the quantity.surprisingly they turned junk food into something healthier by adding such rare vegetables which you'd not find much these days.it's a budget friendly place good for family outings.

Mangala, We went to taste authentic pork delicacy and we were not disappointed. Various thalis are available and we chose with pork and it was tasting gorgeous as I always knows Mangalore provides best pork delicacies. The AC room is Ok and non ac ones looks dingy but, we went for the food and it was worth it. Recommended and if you still want to taste different home cooked pork delicacies then just opposite is Mary Bai and you will carry a memory.

Though the place doesn't look very accommodating and spacious from the outside, the seating and other facilities do seem to be adequate.

A good ambience, not the best though. Perfect place to visit with your family (seperate A/C family section) or your girlfriends, or even a whole group of friends.

The first floor seems to be closed at present due to the covid-19 dip in customers, but the ground floor is fully functional.

The service is not very commendable but not a hindrance to a good dining.

The food is okay'ish, could have been better.

Had been here with my friend. Superb food and courteous staff. Ample parking space and clean up washrooms. I had ordered chicken stuffed nachos, divelled chicken, pork roast. All upto mark items. No regret! I'm gonna be a permanent curtomer

Reminded me of my mummy and Nana's cooking. Mildly spiced and light on the stomach. But great flavour. Its a small place. But Just go for the food. Mary bai won't disappoint you. I had pork chilli, pork bafat, beef bafat, bangude masala, Sardine fish curry Rice, fish fry were outstanding. The chicken pepper fry was not up to my Palate. So ill skip it. Overall. Definitely going again. The owners next level polite and courteous

Ambience - small place that encourages quick service. So order eat and we were out in 30 min.
Price - for 4 people we paid 910 for all the food above. So very economical

The most happening place in mangalore. Love the onion rings and appam with chicken curry, chicken roast, mutton roast, Freddie and the buttered sausages are to die for.

A very cosy bar and restaurant in Mangalore. Very famous for Mangalorean catholic cuisines and other continental food.
A must try are some of the pork dishes with sanna. Biryani is yumm!
And the pork freddie is insaneee! I love the freddies and chops here.

One of the best places to go dine, have a great time and enjoy. Located in Valencia the place is easily visible from the main road itself, provides a wide variety of both veg and non veg dishes. Burgers are one of their many specialties where by even the bun used for the burger is made in-house itself, that's the kind of care that's taken for quality. The owners and thw staff are really friendly and lovely people, I am sure you would want to go back here time and again aftwr your first visit. Definitely not a hyped place unlike many, their service speaks for them, no doubt they have been in the market close to 40 years now!

Been here many times since before the renovations and continue to do so.
Firstly, do check out their unique clock that goes in the opposite direction.
Coming to the food, do try out their chicken 65, Phat Freddie burgers and Butter chicken. Other items are generally good too.
Good alcohol choices and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommend this place for a casual evening among friends. Not for family if you prefer a quiet meal.

It's best place in Manglore to have Beef and Pork dishes. My favourites in their menu is fatless pork dry, chilly chicken with fried onion rings, beef pepper fry and neer dosa as much as you wish to have. Haven't tried the fish items here as Mnaglore has its own speciality restaurants devoted to fish dishes. Mangala bar with no doubt is a must visit place for any foodie who is non vegetarian.

One of the best places in Mangalore if ur ever in a mood to have pork. I'd rate it no. 1 in Mangalore just for the variety and taste of pork dishes. Good food and ambiance and a great value for money.must try items are pork sorpatel and bafat with sunna or neerdosa. The special pork thali is also one of the must try from here

Quality and quantity of the food seems to have decreased compared to yesteryear's. The burgers are not really up to the mark. Better choices available in Mangalore. The pork items are especially good.

The waiters there are the worst. The worst you will meet in your life. After all thier absurd behavior they command you for the tip. I repeat they don't request, they command you to give them tip.

One of the oldest bar in Mangalore, booze is quite cheap and plus their Freddie burgers are one of the betlst in the city.

Food and ambience was good. However i did not like the mocktail fruit punch, it wasnt as i expected, very diluted it was. I jus loved the fried Rice.

Calm and quiet, in a good place and pork is good and service is normal. This was my earlier experience and when I was in a hurry. Must check the entire menu whenever free.
