My family and I had a two day trip from Mangalore to Mysore and back with driver Shafi. We had lots of stops on various touristic spots along the way. I would like to highlight that in Shafi's hands, we were safe. As a professional driver, his driving was smooth, and his advices regarding logistics, timing, and shopping were spot on. It made these two days even more enjoyable. For that, we are very grateful. Shafi also speaks good English, which is very important for us who don't speak Hindi.
Regarding the car itself, it was very comfortable and clean with wonderful Hindi music.
If we ever come back to Mangalore, we will most definitely hire them again.

My experience with the cab operator was bad. I asked for Innova or any 6 seated car, which he mentioned can not be arranged at all.

All we wanted was to go to these 5 temples, 1) Mookambika 2) Sriengeri 3) Kukke Subramanya 4) Dharmasthala 5) Udipi.

Day 1 I landed, I told my plan which all temples I would like to visit in the order which i wanted based on my convenience as i have 2 kids and 1 elder parent to take care. Cab Operator (Owner) immediately replied, saying cut the cab today itself and hung the call, in spite of telling I can pay extra. Pathetic experience on day 1 itself.

Finally, we agreed to the plan which owner and cab operator suggested. 2nd bad experience was i have to feed cab drivers 3 times a day, rather they could ask for an additional charge as part of driver fee itself. 3rd Bad experience was Cab driver was talking throughout the journey over a phone (Risky drive), and he was asking us not to talk as It's disturbing his phone calls. 4th bad experience was driver was asking us to have quick food where ever we go as he has to wait for long hours. 5th Bad experience was he asked us to wake up early in the morning for the next day's trip (he was telling this statement repeatedly the day before), finally he was late by 20 min which made us go mad. 6th Bad experience on the last day when journey was about to get over was he was not ready to take us to the hotel which we wanted, rather he was saying there will be traffic.

We came from Chennai with our kids & Parents to enjoy the trip having a leisure time, but rather owner and driver do not have basic manners in handling customers in understanding what we want.

Only good thing was Driver was polite person (Santhosh) & Car was clean, rest was bad experience.

Total Charges (3 days) = 10900 + 900 (Driver Fee) + 460 toll / parking charges + 3 times a day for food (which ever hotel/restaurants we went). This rate is applicable only for 900 Kms.

My view I would not recommend Mangalore taxi service to anyone.

Dear sir (Cab Owner), I never asked for any discount, not sure why you are posting false information. I paid the amount what ever was quoted to me, not a single money I have asked for discounts. Your reply shows how you are running your cab service with false information. Last night i called you and asked how much i need to pay, you mentioned Santhosh is a trusted cab driver, so what ever he asks do the payment and close the trip is what you told, We did the same thing. Your reply is shocking to us.

Every day, our trip started at 8 AM and ended at 9 PM. Last date alone driver dropped us in station at 9.45 PM.

If you need more money for our trip, please do let me know, I can pay you now.

I will still quote, your cabs are clean, and your driver was polite, but rest please have your basics corrected don't take travellers for granted.

We booked minibus for wedding function in Mangalore, and we used their vehicle for local transportation, the wedding car also clean and well decorated thank you mtc and Mr ullal for giving a good service, i happy to you are the best travels in Mangalore.

I was picked up by Driver Parshuram at Mangalore Airport on my flight from Delhi via Mumbai and transported to the hotel. I had to then travel to a temple complex about 110 kms away. He drove with great care and safety as I returned and spent the night in Mangalore.

The next morning Parshuram arrived at 4.10 am and drove me to the Temple Complex again in comfort and safety.

The two days I was at the Subramanya Temple he was constantly with me supporting my prayer and rituals

He dropped me back to Mangalore Airport to catch my flight to Delhi via Bangalore

Parshuram is extremely soft spoken and my interaction with him was extremely pleasant as he drove me all around in complete safety and comfort

I would recommend him and the travel agency any day to anyone who travels to Mangalore and wishes to hire a respectful and disciplined driver and a reliable travel agency

I searched for cabs near Mangalore airport and shortlisted a couple of them. My list includes online aggregators like Saavari and Gocabz. Pradeep at Mangalore Travels Corporation sounded friendly and his proposal was clear.
After I decided to go with him, he arranged a cab to pick us at the Mangalore Airport and drop at Suntikoppa. Kalkesh picked us on time and dropped us. He was a nice guy and cooperative.
Pradeep in fact called me to make sure we stop on the way for lunch. Excellent customer service. Rs 10 per Km is a good deal, but asking customer to pay for the return in full is not a good idea.
